I would give them 6 stars if I could… We ordered our wedding cake from The Icing… and our wedding ended up being on January 23, the day of the blizzard. Because of this, I called ahead to ask if it could be delivered on Friday (to Alexandria no less), and was told they were already coordinating with the venue to get it there on Friday. Very Professional!
The cake looked amazing, and tasted even better than it looked. My wife was extremely happy. We were told by guests it was the best wedding cake they had ever tasted, and due to the multiple flavors, many guests asked for seconds, as they wanted to try both flavors.

Because of the holidays I was a bit late ordering a groom’s cake for a January 2^nd wedding. Th Icing completed the cake on time and exceeded my expectations. I have had beautiful cakes that clearly tasted like all the energy was put into decorating and I have had cakes that were super delicious but not so hot looking — our cake form The Icing was both delicious and beautifully decorated. I gave the owner minimal instructions, we just wanted a Nintendo themed cake. And she ran with it. It was even more amazing than I imaged. Thank you, The Icing.

Wandered Stafford last Monday in an effort to fill a nagging craving for fresh pie. Any pie as long as it was fresh and made specifically for me. Saw the bakery and walked in. The shelves were bare except for an overcooked apple pie on display. Undaunted I asked for what pies they could make. I was told a cherry pie could be made but the ingredients wouldn’t be in until Friday. Call it the excitement, call it a pie craving clouding my judgment but I PREPAID $ 19.50 for a pie that I could pick up Friday. For the road I did take a crème brûlée cup cake that was AMAZING! Friday finally comes at long last and my wife does me the honor of picking it up. She walks into the door as I sit with bib and fork in hand just to find to my dismay stands an overcooked cherry pie cooked especially just for me. I’ll say that the filling was quite tasty however rendered inedible accompanied with any part of the burned crust (that also had the nerve to have sugar on top). The second star was only for the cupcake that was great. So go for the cupcakes but steer clear of the pie.

Went in to see about a bday for my son. The guy and girl at the counter were awesome and super helpful. They both answered my questions and pulled out their book of what they could do, it was amazing! Each page my son was like «oh I want that one!». I walked out with 13 different kinds of cupcakes for 29 $. They’re all so good I can’t decide what kind to get! Def will go back!

Went today and grabbed a half dozen cupcakes. My baby girl got shots today, so we went as a treat for being so brave.
They had tons of favors to choose from and oh man did the place smell awsome! It was super clean and the service was very sweet and helpful.
When we got home and devoured the cupcakes ever single one was perfect moist and sweet. We will go again, and will order cakes from them in future!

I went there for a wedding cake tasting. They charged me $ 25 and I never heard from them again. I have sent multiple emails, still no response. You can definitely find a better vendor that is more professional.
