We got off 95 South in Virginia at exit 140 looking for gas and also wanted to stop at the 7⁄11. So we pulled into the Sunoco station — admittedly not checking any if the gas stations on the other side of the exit. If we had, we would have discovered that the Sunoco was $.64 more per gallon (at $ 2.99 for regular) than the Exxon (2.35) right across the underpass, and $.81 more than the stations next to 7⁄11 (2.18). We feel like total suckers, but being on a long trip through several states we had no idea what typical prices were. They are totally price gouging. Not sure we can prevent anyone else from going there, but would like to!
I didn’t even want to give one star but seemed not to have a choice.

At the time I went the place seems run down, half the pumps there were not working, and the price of gas was way higher than the other stations around. I don’t know how this place stays open.
