Will NOT be utilizing Revolution Cycles again for purchases or service. The first time we purchased bikes from them, we walked in not knowing what we were looking for or what was best suited for our needs. The staff at that time was professional, competent, patient, more than happy to help, teach, explain & motivate. On our latest visit there seemed to be no «adult supervision». All those positive customer service qualities we had experienced before were gone. Instead we got apathy & a seeming complete lack of knowledge about the products they were selling. This time we knew exactly what we were looking for but they couldn’t answer simple questions. They of course tried to upsell a maintenance plan but other than that we have no idea what warranties or service come with purchase from the store itself. My SO wasn’t even asked about having the bike adjusted to fit. The general feeling we got was that the staff had other places they would rather have been on a sunny day. Sorry, but customer service has taken a nosedive!

The BESTBIKESHOPINTOWN! Always love coming here to see what new bikes are in. Also always come here to have my bike looked at. Ben and his team there definitely have great customer service! Love to hear all the advice and knowledge they have on biking! When we got ripped off from Old Towne Bicycles in Woodbridge this bike shop had no problems helping us out with a trade in! Thank you Revolution Cycles!

Okay. I hate doing this. I stopped back in the store maybe five separate times before updating this review but I have to be honest… Revolution Cycle employees really earned this review update. Since my last review I’ve had nothing but horrible service from condescending, judgmental staff. I don’t know what’s going on but even old constants who were motivational and would bolster athletes that came in the store — knowing that these patrons were looking to try new things or get the gear to take them to the next level with their passion — have turned sour. Where associates used to bend over backwards to help you get your equipment perfectly set and fit to you, now it seems like all they want to do is sell you something and push you out the door to fend for yourself. I haven’t seen Andrew around for a while… IF(big if) I decide to venture back into the store to give Rev another chance at earning my business, I’m confident that he is their last hope of maintaining a semblance of their old image of prioritizing customer service and customer satisfaction. Everyone else at Rev has let me down recently. I hope that if you choose to walk in to Revolution Cycle, you don’t have to deal with the same folks I have.

Great service, Great people!!! They didn’t pressure me into buying what I didn’t want or to buy the most expensive accessories. The store offers everything that you may need for road and mountain bikes that is suitable of all type of riders and ages. If they don’t have what you need they can order it from there vast catalogs and it’ll normally get there within two to three business days, all depending on if there hasn’t been a major snow storm that stops the delivery company.

I went to this store after learning they sale lazer helmets. The sale person seemed young but legitimate. I felt invited and just like a valued client should. The store has lots of accessories and a good section of Mountain bikes, not so many road bikes. But this is the area thing I am sure. All around an all right bike store. I would have given 5 stars but my lbs has spoiled me.

I always try to support local businesses and as the only local bike shop(LBS) in the Stafford 610 area I try to get in as much as possible. The Good 1. Close to me 2. Good service 3. Friendly staff The Bad 1. The place has a very small inventory on accessories and most of the time I’m confronted with the«we can order it for you» response and I end up going somewhere else to get it. 2. Prices are on the high side compared to Old Towne Bicycles in Woodbridge or Fredericksburg, and Performance Bike in Springfield. 3. 11am open hour is frustrating and has often led me to go somewhere else. Other bike shops open at 10am. 4. They don’t take trade-ins. Other bike shops in Woodbridge and Manassas take trades, which allow for people who want to take biking a little more seriously to get a better bike for their money, while keeping their business local. I usually do all the maintenance on my bikes, but from time to time I run into minor issues that require more expertise or specialized tools. The other day I had one of those moments and needed them to fix the threads on one of my cranks. The threads where not ruined, as they would take some pedals in but not others. Nevertheless, I went in and asked the front guy and he told me to go ahead and bring the bike in. So I went back out to get the bike and when I took it to the back, the mechanic refused to do the work due to «liability issues» and recommended that I should buy a new crank. This is a common and very easy fix and their solution was for me to spend $ 250.00 on a new part. I could understand it if the threads were completely ruined, but they didn’t even bother to look at them. Although, they were more than happy to «order it for me» lol Anyway, I left with my bike, got online and ordered the Park tool pedal Tap for $ 40.00 and fixed it in 5 minutes. This actually surprised me as I have gotten great service from them in the past, but nowadays you have to remain consistent. When adding their other shortcomings I rather go somewhere else whenever I need anything for any of my bikes. Obviously, this is the same advise I give to all my riding mates. (Update) Having the GM take the time to respond to my silly complains shows responsibility and effort on improving, which goes a long way in earning customers trust. While business hours are not always convenient for me, I realize it might be for the majority of the residents in the Stafford area.

I’ve had excellent experiences every time I’ve gone in, whether I was looking for aero bars, a new helmet, clearance close, a possible complete bike upgrade, gels, kids bikes/attachments, for tuning, or just out of complete boardom to browse. I often walk out without spending any money and have never been hassled for it. I like to look at stuff and buy it later to prevent buyer’s remorse. My road bike isn’t a super fancy $ 5−25k bike, but they’ve always taken good care if it and me.

I went in I took a look around. I was honest with the sales people and told them that prices were a little out of my range. On my way out the store before I could exit the door I could hear the salesgirl saying«yeah I just want a bike I don’t care how cheap it is…» Something to that effect… I almost turned around To tell her how fucking rude that was, but not worth it. I could have been back for other products, other business but for that, no thank you. But I will tell all my friends what a shitty salesperson you are over there. I’ll never be back there for anything. whatever it is I can find somewhere else.

This place was fantastic and we were helped by a very knowledgeable sales associate who answered all of our questions to a T. The issue came when we asked for a few presta valve caps and the associate said no problem he had some we could have for free. When we reached the mechanic in the back and the sales associate asked if he could grab a few caps for us the mechanic said«I don’t know it’s your shop«in a vey snide disrespectful way. I am not sure why this happened but when we asked for 2 more caps for my husbands bike the mechanic looked very upset with the salesman when he asked for two more. We graciously offered to purchase the caps but the mechanic said they did not sell them… Very confusing process that left us wondering why the vast difference of customer service between the sales associate/manager? and the mechanic? We will be back but we are prepared to be met with but versions of Revolution Cycles customer service.
