I was torn because of some of the reviews here but our service has been ammmmmaazing! Ordered the alligator tail and great is all I can say. Seasoning so spot on. Ordered the moonshine bloody mary comes w a mini corona. absolutely yummy! We were coming to stafford and had not been here in forever so glad we came in. Had the blackened tilapia w dirty rice. Definitely sub par food but it was decent. Ettoufee had a very acidic taste. All and all a good night though.

First time here! Had the boudin stuffed chicken and it was fabulous! The Cajun chicken for appetizers were soo good and hot that even if my fingers burned, i would still go for them anyways. The drink, peach mambo was delish!(It’s a shame I couldn’t take the mason jar home, it was cute! Jkjk). [this is coming from a visitor from another state! Keep up the delicious work! ] bon apetite !

Lettuce begin. Now, this restaurant surprised me! I did not expect my order to be a huge plate of goodness. When I was here, I ordered the Cajan Combo Skillet that was recommended by the server along side with Cajan Fried Chicken and Peach Mambo. When the appetizer came out, it smelled so good and it came out really hot. After one bite, I just continued eating it, even when it was burning hot. The Cajan Combo Skillet was good, it was mostly beans, shrimp and rice. If you like rice and beans, I recommend it! Finally I got the Peach Mambo which is an alcoholic drink. The drink came with a mason jar and I really liked the fruity taste. It was a good amount of fruit and alcohol; it had peaches inside as well. The restaurant itself inside was so cool. Lights and bottles as decoration and my seat was showing the view of the fountain. The server was super nice and food was served fast! TIP: come before 7PM for happy hour. Appetizers are 50% If you’re around the area and you’re looking for a place for dinner, I recommend this place. Peace Out Girl Scouts.

I love razzoos but this location had absolutely the worst service I’ve ever experienced at any restaurant. I was with a unusually large party of 12 so we expected a long wait, no big deal. After putting my name and telephone number down, they verified the long wait of an hour. So we decided to hang out on the patio and catch up because our party consisted of folks who hadn’t seen each other in years. An hour twenty minutes pass, I go up to the host to ask about our table and she can’t find my name. Then the manager I asked to talk to rudely let me know that we were taken off the list because he called us on the intercom and no one went up. First off, the patio was not that busy for us to not hear it. Secondly, what the hell was the point of putting my number down if they aren’t going to contact me that way when I supposedly don’t respond to an intercom call? Yeah the manager couldn’t answer that question either. Safe to say this locale will not be getting my business.

Razoo’s is like a Cajun Applebee’s: inexperienced bar and waitstaff, weak drinks, and large portions to compensate for mediocre/poor quality. The only reason for two stars is the water front patio, which is the reason we decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately, we can now definitely say that every restaurant on this pretty waterfront location only stays busy bc of the location and outdoor ambience. Kim Son, Applebee’s, Pub Fountain and now Razoo’s are all dumps. We planned to do dinner with crawfish and drinks but left after the first round. We had one frozen and one rocks hurricane, both way too sweet/way too weak compared to NOLA or even BB’s or Ragin Cajun. Bartenders were slow and not knowledgable. They were out of two of the beers of their limited draft selection. Bartenders didn’t know the types of beer on tap and did not offer bottle options when asked even though bottles were available. A simple beer list could have resolved this, which they don’t have. Also, specialty drink list had no prices. Don’t think there’s a wine list either. Didn’t stay for food bc the drinks and bar service while waiting for a table(no, not full, just understaffed) gave us plenty of reason to doubt food quality. Portions of others did look large though, and many took togo boxes. On way out my gf noted unkept bathrooms: all tp was on floor and none in dispenser, no soap, trash overflowing. We also thought it was odd that they had a security officer on duty in bar area on a Sunday afternoon, as this appears to be a family restaurant.

The manager Clint is the absolute best. He came to our table, spoke and asked how the dinner was. He even had us try and review the boudin balls. They were awesome! Our server Meagan was a delight and super friendly. She took our order well and delivered the food in a timely manner. Thank you Clint and Meagan for making out experience a delightful one. We will be back!

I’ve been here a few times and every time I come I HOPE it’s under new management or new waitstaff but nothing’s changed. The service is always bad. At times I’ve had to get up and serve myself cause our waitress was to busy in her phone in the bar area and the place maybe had 25 people in it that I saw. I will say the drinks are very well made but as far as service goes is rather service myself than deal with the wait staff here.

I wouldn’t sit and dine here at a table cause there’s always a wait. I definitely enjoyed it better just sitting at the bar during happy hour with my Swamp Thang and fried alligator. Basically my two life essentials. YUM! Tip: Don’t get the fish bowl. It’s not worth it

When it comes to Cajun/Creole, Pappadeaux and Boudreaux’s are dear to my heart. They hold the crown(s) and no one is taking that away! Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, Razzoo’s is part of a stream of restaurants that sit on a huge pond with fish. It enhances the patio environment and it keeps your little ones entertained while you wait for you table. Good feature! I will also note, this place is popular and always busy so there is usually a wait. Plan accordingly… The inside is lively, upbeat, but very casual and family friendly. You will see a lot of people like to celebrate birthdays and other occasions here. This place is NO Pappadeaux so don’t come expecting that same quality of food here, but what you will get is well seasoned food at affordable prices. I love spicy food and many places that claim certain items are spicy, usually they are mild to me. However, when THEY say spicy, just know they aren’t skimping on spices here. One thing I dislike and will make mention of is the boudin balls are of a mushy mashed potato like consistency that I don’t care for. What I do like is that the drinks are good and the glasses are huge in comparison to Pappadeaux and Boudreaux’s. A Swamp Thing here is $ 8 versus $ 10.95 at Pappadeaux and you get probably about 3 – 4 more ounces here. To sum this place up, it’s merely a «more bang for your buck» type of place, but be aware that you do sacrifice quality as a result.

I’m definitely a regular here! For lunch or happy hour my cousin and I are always in the building. Worm Burners will set you up for a good night. The bartenders know us by name which is always a good thing. Stuffed Shrimp dish is a good meal to try. The wings have a decent kick to them. Friendly atmosphere, we’ve nicknamed this place«Tha Zoo» lol. FUNTIMES. If you see me here buy me a drink. Thank you!

My husband wanted to eat oysters and we were in the area and decided to try this place out. It was a Friday night at about 6 and it was packed. We were told it would be over and hour wait but decoded to stick it out. Turned out to only take 30 to 40 minutes to get called. The texting feature is nice. Once we got seated we ordered drinks and food at the same time. Our waitress, Madelynn was super great. Attentive enough but not a bother. She was also very friendly and recommended that we ask the kitchen to split our combo platter so we could get extra bread and extra corn. Deal!!! Food was decious. Crawfish etoufee was seasoned really well. My husband said the oysters were great and not tiny which sometimes happens. Also got the fried boudin balls. Really yummy!!! We had to take some food home because it was so much. We’ll definitely come back because the service is great and the food is good comfort food.

Mercy! I did not expect this place to be this good. Joyous rant in 3…2…1… Ok. The worst part of my dining experience here was the wait. The hostess told us 45 minutes to an hour, and she was NOT lying. We sat down after an hour standing around in the foyer. People were crowded in the front lobby anxiously waiting for their turn at Creole goodness unknown to me at the time I thought«Why would anybody wait this long for food!?» I’m so glad I waited. We sat down ordered our food when our waitress came(since we had sooo much time to look at the menu) and we were out in enough time to make our concert on time. That was clutch. There was nothing special about the Hurricane, but sweet baby rays that food that I took photos of was OFFTHECHAIN. My dishes came out hot, spicy, and full of flavor. Thank you Unilocal friends for the recommendations. I can’t wait to try the other items on the menu. The last surprise at the end of the meal was the check! I looked at my wife and said«This can’t be real. We had all that food and it was only 53 dollars!?» She nodded and after we paid I delightfully skipped all the way to the car with a grin on my face.

Finally! A place that claims to have spicy food and lives up to its claim! This was the first time I’ve been here for dinner. I’d come for lunch a couple of times and had the fried catfish basket which was good, but your typical fried catfish. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the dinner menu was the same as the lunch menu and didn’t have the inflated prices that so many other restaurants turn to after 5:00. Most entrees were between $ 11 and $ 15 and the portions we had were big. I don’t think anyone would leave this place hungry. I ordered the blackened catfish and it lived up to its name. The spicy blackening seasoning cleared my sinuses and had my nose running just like it should. It was served in some type of gravy that added extra goodness and really enhanced the taste. My dirty rice was was packed with flavor. You could see and taste the bits of vegetables chopped up in it and they added more texture to the dish. The rice and the hunk of garlic bread were my favorite part of my meal. I substituted fried okra for the vegetable of the day and I have to say it was a disappointment. It lacked any real breading and was lukewarm even though the fish was served piping hot from the grill. It made me wonder if maybe the okra had been cooked first and then sat around waiting for the fish to be finished. Hubby ordered the boudin stuffed chicken. He said the chicken breast was tender and the sauces made it good. He thought the mashed potatoes tasted homemade. His usual complaint about green beans served in a restaurant is that they are rubbery. His biggest compliment tonight was that his green beans were NOT rubbery and they had some kind of «gravy» that added flavor. As you can tell, he’s not one to rave about food, but he really enjoyed his meal and said it was one of the best he’d had in a long time. Even though the place was busy, our server, Jaqueli, was fast and efficient. She took our drink order as soon as we sat down and had our drinks on the table quickly. She checked on us several times throughout the meal and kept our drinks full. We were very pleased with the service and will be back again.

I love this place, a lot of the food they serve here taste great. They have a pretty big menu so you need to come here a couple times to find what you really like. Taste: I’ve had the chicken po boy and shrimp po boy and both of them taste amazing. If it’s your first time you can’t go wrong with either of those. Also when it comes to appetizers their fried pickles and rat toes are a must have. I don’t drink Alcohol but I see a lot of people come here just for the drinks so if that’s your thing then you might want to check this place out as well. They can get very packed on weekends so try to come early.

Razzoo’s does cajun food right! This place is delicious. Every time I have a visitor from out of town and they request«gator», I take them here. Even though I don’t eat it, everyone raves about the gator here and none of my guests have been disappointed. My favorite dish is the Stuffed Shrimp. It is stuffed with crab meat and comes with white rice, corn and garlic bread. This dish never disappoints. The service is always first class, whether sitting at the bar or at a table. And the restrooms have always been clean when I’ve visited them.

This is a fun place! Happy vibrant workers and an up beat bright, interesting atmosphere. You can’t go wrong if you come here. The étouffée was really good lots at mud bugs and wow great rice too. I tried the combo but this was my first time so now I have my go to dish. Try this place and you will be a big fan.

For what it is, it’s a great place! It’s a little noisy for my tastes, but it’s supposed to be. It’s a fun, loud, noisy, exciting place – with bold flavors and spices and bold decorating and bold music and bold drink choices. They had some good drink options, good drink specials. They also had touristy type drinks in the fancy glasses that have their logos on them and you can pay extra to take home with you, complete with mardi gras beads and decorations and such. I’m not into those things, but I saw a whole bunch of them being served. The hostesses all greeted us with smiles, young and cute, friendly, nice looking girls. They seated us – which was a little bit awkward for wheelchair seating. The only way to get to seating for the wheelchair is to go down the side aisle, and they have so many chairs and tables along the side, that the people who are already dining there must actually stand up and move their chairs out of the way for me to get my wheelchair through. This is very embarrassing and uncomfortable for all concerned – I’m also not entirely certain it’s ADA compliant. In an emergency, it would be very difficult for me to get out of the place in a timely manner. It’s enough that, even though I love the food here, I probably won’t go back either. So to the food – the waitress was awesome and made a few great recommendations. Be sure to ask if the crawfish is in season, because that’s really the best! They have the hot and the regular, and they sell it by the pound with corn and seasoned boiled potatoes. The corn and potatoes are good, and the crawfish is amazing! The spices were awesome cajun seasoning that keeps your lips stinging but with tons of flavor! You could SEE the spice on the mudbugs! They were bright red and huge to. Really good! They were served in a bowl with another bowl on top for shells and then a warm hand towel – a real, honest-to-goodness towel, for cleaning hands afterward. We also ordered the seafood platter special and wanted to split it, and they split the plate for us in the kitchen, without charging a split plate fee. It was really nice of them! The food was served super fast even though there were quite a few folks in the restaurant and it was hot and good. We never went without drinks and the waitstaff and backup staff brought boxes to the table and checked on us regularly. It’s not a fancy place and you shouldn’t expect fine dining here – but if you want good tasting food with lots of flavor at a reasonable price in a casual environment, this is a good place to go. Also, when the weather is nice, they have great outdoor dining under umbrellas and shaded by a cute pond-like lake with birds and a nice view. It’s a pretty courtyard area and great for a nice day. If they’d fix the wheelchair access and seating problems, I’d give them a full five-stars for the type of place they are. Unfortunately, because of that, I can’t do it. Still four stars is respectable and if you don’t have accessibility issues and you love cajun spiced seafood, this is a great place to go. Oh, and you have to try the alligator when it’s in season!

ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT!!! What can I say about this place, but that it is one of my daughter and I favorite spots. I am a huge fan of their Happy Hour. All of the appetizers on the menu are half price. My drink is the Swamp Thang. You can never go wrong with that delicious drink, and it is $ 5 during Happy Hour. It is a Margarita and Hurricane Blend with a melon and raspberry liqueur topper. Some people that I know think it is a bit strong, but it is awesome for me. The size you get for the happy hour price is a beautiful thing. When I can get a drink, an appetizer(ex. crawfish tails with fries that is a large portion), and a $ 4.29 kids meal for under $ 20, you are on my A-List. The Food. The food is delicious to me. Now if you are on a diet, I will tell you like the menu does, the closest thing they have to rabbit food is two salads, and I believe blackened fish. So do not come here counting your calories, you are wasting your time. Come here on your cheat days. Now, I have tried all of their appetizers and I do not have any complaints. The food here is good and reasonably priced.
