Hampton Inn

Pretty nice hotel! I like the indoor pool, the jacuzzi is awesome, and the pillows are AMAZING. Everything is pretty satisfactory, except… the switch for my bathroom is OUTSIDE the bathroom. Kinddd of threw me off. That’s all that’s weird. Other than that, I’m pretty happy with my time here!

Clean, comfortable but horrendous manager. I had made a reservation through TripAdvisor. I understand that there are sometimes timing issues with it getting to the hotel. This was kindly resolved and I was given an early check in.
The room, while immaculately clean, has zero soundproofing. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and this one was extremely noisy just from doors closing and the people in the next room taking a shower and talking. I could hear their conversation in full. Every toilet flush, every movement could be heard in the next room and in the hallway.
The toilets seem to work fine until you go back into the bathroom a few minutes later and see that the paper which was previously gone, is back.
I mentioned this to the staff in the evening and they kindly switched my room. Same issue with the toilet and a new issue with the microwave. It took 7 minutes to heat up a small coffee so I’m not sure what the issue is as I’m not an electrician. Same issue with the toilet in this room too but I can not express how wonderfully clean the entire hotel was. That was nice.
I go to check out and tell of the issues I’ve had and don’t expect to be charged as according to Hampton’s policy, if there are issues with your room, you’re not to be charged. Well I was charged anyway and this is where the big problem starts. I ended up with 4 authorizations on my card.
Corporate told me that I had to go through the property manager and when she finally got back to me, she cut me off constantly and literally yelled at and insulted me. She didnt even give me the chance to explain that she was looking for the wrong issue in the room. She started getting so angry I couldn’t even understand some of her words. She then hung up with a «**** you call corporate, I don’t care»
So I did.
I’m getting a refund check in the mail and was looking forward to many nights at this location considering my boyfriend just got stationed at Quantico. Not anymore. I will never return to this location as long as that manager is there. Incredibly rude.

Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was awesome. Bed was very uncomfortable for my husband and I. Mattress was VERY firm and a bit bumpy. Great place if you like a firm mattress.

Booked a double bed room and got a one king. Checked in early afternoon too, and I know double isn’t guaranteed so I stood at the front desk for a while to verify the front desk’s claims that none were left. FALSE. LIES. Next group checking in got double rooms. I asked them politely following each check in, and what do you know, more doubles. Horrible service. This was not a priceline booking or anything. I may not have paid top rate, but this was horrendous service. Manager eventually gave a rollaway, but not the same thing when it was clear that doubles were in fact available.

I’m really surprised at how low this place is rated. Had to stay here on a last minute decision since going back to D.C. in the rain would have been a disaster (as we were told by relatives anyway). Check-​in was a breeze and the staff at the front desk were friendly. The hotel is newly renovated complete with a gym, business center, private laundry room and an indoor pool. The room layout (s) are well designed with cute modern furniture and up-​to-​date appliances (HDTV, fridge, microwave, etc.). The beds, comforters and pillows were super comfy – and most importantly very clean and fresh. The bathroom was well-​stocked and again, very clean.
I am picky with hotels and although this is just an inn, this is one I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Stafford, VA.

Oversize spacious rooms! Bathroom is amazing, jet tub and an adjacent shower with double heads. Great pool and hot tub area. Amazing free breakfast! I would recommend staying here, if I am in the area again this hotel is hands down my top pick.

This place is under construction right now so you have to use a side door. The rooms were excellent and clean. We stayed on a night they had a day snow storm there, after having driven for 12 hours. I find it most rude that they did not have the door entrance shoveled, nor the ramp for disabled patrons. They also made the handicap first floor room into a breakfast area while the construction is happening. No one there cared when we complained about the shoveling. We were traveling with someone in a wheelchair and two infants. I haven’t mentioned yet how the parking lot was also an ice rink. So, if it isn’t snowing, this place is decent. If it’s snowing, avoid if you need clear pathways to enter. Even the maintenance guy was like «oh…yeah.ah» when we asked why he couldn’t take a few minutes to shovel.

Two words… CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST! And it was done right! A large selection of awesomeness. I wish I could take it home with me and have it every morning.
Rooms were clean, coffee was readily available in the lobby. What more could you ask for? Oh, probably for the pool to be indoors. IT WAS FREEZING!

Does the job. Consistent the Hampton Inn is. No paper in front of my room this morning.
