Very pleased with my home delivery. Good quality pizza. I learned they are under new management. Will use again.

Placed a 35 $ delivery order at 7:30 was told 30 minutes an hour later they still hadn’t showed up so I call back and get«oh he just left he’ll be there in 5 minutes». Finally at 9:15 my food arrived barely lukewarm the grease on top of the pizza was congealing. I’m at a local hotel that I’m sure has been delivered to before… needless to say I’m disgusted. If I wanted to be overcharged to eat crap I would have gone to the truck stop, it would have at least been hot

Love this place!!! Every time my family and I visit stafford springs this is our«go to» place. The owners and staff are super friendly and are always so welcoming… they make us feel right at home. Love the pizza!!! Their Sautee dishes are also really good! I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants great food at reasonable prices and a warm welcoming atmosphere. Oh! And the place is super clean too! That’s something you don’t see very often. You can tell the owners really care.

Don’t order delivery. It takes to long. Go for takeout or sit down and eat Pizza is ok. Next time will try a meal.

What a disappointment. This used to be the place to go for good casual pizza and entrees but since changing owners several years ago it can’t stop going downhill. Tonight the restaurant was cold, my pizza had hardly any cheese or sauce on it and the veggies were burned. I asked for extra onions but didn’t get them. I can’t wait for this restaurant to fail so maybe someone will do something good there again. The help is unmotivated, probably because of then shortage of customers! Too bad… Go down the street to Kolossos.

Food is ok not the best not the worst but the pricing is out of control. 3.50 a topping and they do charge for delivery just a FYI.

Me and my family used to eat here as a see each other every five weeks, then stopped. After new managment, the food began to lack, then get tastless and bland, and the ombience died. I heard they have since improved but now choose J&D’s next door better!

New owners took over about a year and a half ago. Pizza went a little bit downhill, but it’s still good. Service inside is OK, if you’re willing to flag down your server here and there. But for takeout pizza or a basic Italian dinner this place is still OK, price is right for what you get, and the establishment is clean. They are trying hard to keep the establishment what it was with the other owners and it shows.

Stopped here last night for a quick cheap dinner. I wound up with a ricotta, mozzarella and spinach calzone. My boyfriend got a Gyro(which he said was amazing) and my friend got a chicken parm sub. My calzone was very good and large enough to take home for lunch the next day.(I may have been able to stretch it for three days, but I was particularly hungry!) Our waitress was nice and helpful and our food arrived fairly quickly. I was told by a resident of Stafford Springs that«all the pizza places in town suck», but this place seemed decent. Granted, I didn’t try their pizza, but I figure a calzone is about as close as you can get! (They earn extra points for giving me some marinara sauce to take home with my calzone. I didn’t even have to ask for it, and usually resturants don’t think to give you a side of sauce.)

I am told by my resident friends, that Stafford House of Pizza is the best pizza in Stafford Springs. This may say a lot, because there’s a lot of friggin’ Pizza joints in Stafford. In fact, it’s pretty much like 7 to 10 pizza joints, 2 Chinese places, 150’s diner, some fast food. Anywho, *I* have not had pizza from the other pizza joints in Stafford, but I did have pizza from THIS pizza joint. First, it’s a cute place. It sort of what you want a casual Italian place to look like. In fact, it might be exactly what a casual Italian place should look like. The guy behind the counter, it should be noted, is also charming. It’s Greek pizza, and it’s good. The sauce is salty and sharp, as are the meatballs(we got meatball and mushroom). The mushrooms, unfortunately, tasted like they came from a can. The cheese was piled on thick and heavy and the dough was good. Not my favorite dough ever, but not cardboardy like soem dough can get. It was good enough to eat a second slice. (P.S. They have beer.)

Yummy! My man-man and I visited his sister in CT and she brought us here. Cute little take-out/dine-in pizza place. I liked the roof tiles on the inside. The Greek pizza was great. We got baklava and the owner was nice and gave us an extra one for free(it was pre-made, but yummy regardless), my only complaint I guess is that the waitress wasn’t too friendly but that’s ok. :)
