3 stars for the location– This park is in the old southeast section of St. Pete and hardly ever used. I’ve been here a bunch of times and rarely see more than 15 people. The park is long and sort of skinny. There is no sidewalk and you have to park on the residential streets. A fun thing to do at the park(in the summer) is walk out onto the sandbar at low tide. It’s very shallow and if you like searching for shells, this is a good area. The view from the park is towards the east and on most days you can see clearly across the bay. Not a tremendous amount of shade at this park which, is good for recreational sports…
