Went to a couple breakfast places around town with lines including Banyan and it was too difficult, long lines and no tables or parking. This place was very easy, great service and the café con leche was delicious. The food was great too! Great experience over all.

Yes ma’am! Holy café con leche, Batman. This place is such a great find! Easy, simple, friendly & fast. Super stoked we live a block away from this place. I swear by their breakfast wrap; it’s pretty tasty.

Cute atmosphere! Our paninis were the perfect size (and price) and tasted great! We both ordered the potato salad as our side. It was good and had eggs in it but pretty mayo-​y. I also ordered the ‘organic’ cappuccino and my husband had a black coffee. They were both delicious but I’m not sure if the milk was organic in mine or if it’s just the coffee that is, I’ll ask next time we go.
Overall it was a great experience. It was a welcoming family-​run environment with good food. Also, you get a free cookie with any coffee purchase! The tint is pretty dark on the windows so we never really paid too much attention to it walking by, but super happy we stopped in to try it out.

Genaros is my favorite coffeeshop in St Pete! Patricia the owner is always super welcoming and it almost feels like you’re hanging out in a big living room because most everyone that comes in there are all about being social with one another. The coffee here is so much better than major chains or even other local coffee shops in St Pete. The food is great and the atmosphere is relaxing. I just wish they were open at night too!

How did I never hear about this place until today? It’s beautiful and clean inside and dog friendly outside. A tall tree provides fantastic shade. I ordered their breakfast sandwich with bacon and wheat bread. I chose grits as my side. Filling, light, and tasty. Their grits are fantastic! Will definitely come back again.

I love this place! The owner Patricia, and Emily, one of the staff, make me feel so welcome every time I go. The food is excellent and always presented so well.
The coffee is great… and always served with a fresh cookie on the side (where else do you get that!). My only disappointment is that they are not open late in the afternoon or early evening. If they were, I rather be there than Starbucks that’s for sure!

Food was outstanding. Fantastic cappacino and I am a picky orderer. I altered the menu selection to add more protein (chix breast) to omelet and changed the cheese etc and no problem… came out picture perfect and delicious. Very high quality –fresh eggs veggies were fresh and even the basil was too!

It was the most delicious Café Mocha I have ever tasted.
It was enough to warrant a five star rating based on a single sip.
The fresh Columbian beans they use are mind-​bogglingly flavorful.
Luckily, the service was equal to the coffee… warm and welcoming.
The free cookie that comes with the coffee was a nice touch.
The prices were less than Starbucks.
It’s the epitome of what «five star perfection» means.

Super friendly waitress, good latte, good espresso — but the menu item we really wanted wasn’t available — waffles — and they wouldn’t attempt to make French toast as a substitution even though they had eggs and bread. We ended going elsewhere for breakfast — but can recommend the coffee.

Wow… very friendly and welcoming staff. Has a cool vibe with Spanish jazz playing in the background to go with the amazing coffee. Interesting selection of breakfast items that are not always seen.
I visited with two young children and the staff was very attentive, bringing over a platter of various pastries and muffins. Chocolate muffins are a treat and these mammoth beasts certainly didn’t disappoint.
I ordered a basil, tomato and mozzarella omelet that was very tasteful. It arrived with seasoned home fries, a flat Cuban style toasted bread and fruit.
Very nice place and we will be back!

Really, really good food and coffee. I ordered the meat lovers wrap and it was excellent — light and fresh tasting. The service was friendly and very quick. We will definitely be coming back!

I’ve been here a couple of times. Nice peaceful atmosphere. There are some interesting people that come here. Great coffee! I haven’t had café con leche this good since I left Miami. This place is one of my favorites.

I cheated on my regular coffee spot downtown because they’re closed on Mondays. I went looking for something open at like 8p.m. for a post dinner java stop with a friend and found Genaro. Looked like it would fit the bill and we could hang out in some nice a/​c, but after wandering in we had a change of plan.
We got some café con leche to go because there was some kind of socialist propaganda movie screening going on. Pretty much every chair was occupied and there was no way to have any kind of conversation with that as background noise. The coffee was fine, but we wandered down the road and claimed the side of a planter/​bench instead of sitting inside like the original plan. I guess it’s nice to have a place open to those sorts of things, but as a first experience it wasn’t that great.
