Terrible service. Took a very long time to get food. Very overpriced for the setting and the ambience was very loud and unpleasant.
I ordered a black bean burger which consisted of about a pound of tasteless beans.
Wait staff could clearly see the pile of discarded trash I did not eat and offered no help to rectify the situation.
Please just go down the street for food if you are staying at the hotel.

Nestled away at the top by the Vinoy pool is a wonderful lunch spot. Every time I go I can’t ever stray from getting, to me, the best thing on the menu. Fish Tacos!
These are the best fish tacos I have to date. Extremely fresh grouper with some amazing flavors. It normally comes with rice and beans which are ok but I always swap that out for the sweat potato fries, which you normally get a decent amount of. Also the Chicken Sandwich is pretty good also, which has an amazing Aoli sauce that you can get with it. The restaurant will also validate the parking ticket so its free parking.

Great food and welcoming atmosphere. The chef (Jason) came out of the kitchen to chat with my wife and address a food allergy. he was very professional and willing to modify a plate to accomodate. the grilled grouper was exactly to perfection! I ordered a black bean burger which was one of the best that I have had. it was thick, covered with cheese and Sriracha, all in a fresh soft bun — yum! Our server (Monica) was very sweet, solicitous, and fast. We are quests at the hotel and have eaten here 2 times this week, both times have been very good!

This place should be razed and replaced. It has no redeeming value, and does not belong in the otherwise wonderful Vinoy (ditto Fred’s). Unoriginal menu, too heavy, too greasy, too expensive, too loud and a horrible space. What were they thinking? Especially horrible is the club sandwich wrap.

This restaurant is located on the pool deck at The Vinoy Resort and open to the public. They have indoor and outdoor service. Outside they have tables and corn hole. They serve lunch and dinner every day and on the weekends they have breakfast (sometimes a buffet). They have a good selection of fruity tropical drinks and the menu has a Caribbean flare. They have the best fish taco’s I’ve ever eaten and use local fish. Another favorite is the lobster quesadilla, huge chunks of lobster and you won’t leave hungry even tho it is an app. Conch fritters, chips and guac, all sorts of app’s for sharing. Black bean burger, turkey burger, cuban sandwhich. .. something for everyone from the veg head to the carnivore. If you are looking for a unique salad try the Alfresco Salad with banana bread croutons, dried fruit and tasty dressing. You can top with all sorts of things, but I like the scallops. If you are downtown St Pete it is worth stopping by and they will validate your parking too. Enjoy!
