This place is NOT open 24 hours. It opens at 6am. Thank you for the wasted trip. Ugh.

Only open till midnight now. But have a sign that said all you can eat pancakes 9pm to 6am… And every thing says that they are 24⁄7. Am I the only one confused about this?

If there’s an option for no stars I would pick that. Literally my party came and sat down. Waited for 40 minutes and we didn’t even get our water in time. So what is there to expect. We then proceeded to tell the cashier that we would like to cancel all of our orders(an hour later) she said«yall should’ve came earlier.» Baffled by her response we then left. Worse customer service ever. We will not be returning.

This was the first time in my entire restaurant experience that I have had to send a plate back. The Monterey Shrimp Pasta was so undercooked that the entire dish tasted like metal. Luckily everybody else’s dishes were good. The service sucked as well. It took over 10 minutes to get drinks and we were the only people in the restaurant. Maybe our server had a bad day, I don’t know. She wasn’t happy with the us being here in the first place and we felt extremely unwelcome. All I can say is I hope we never have her as a server again. This service may stop us from coming back to this location again

I tried this place out a month ago. I was not satisfied with this place. The whole time I was there, I got a bad vibe from the servers and the customers. The atmosphere itself was not very welcoming. The only reason I did not walk out is because I was with family, and we were hungry(by emergency). There were a lot of rude, loud, and obnoxious customers that were in there, but none of the employees or the managers were doing anything about them. They made me nervous. The servers were mediocre at best. The were only sort-of friendly but not very enthusiastic. When I was being sat down to my table, one of the other employees was just getting done cleaning up the area. That was not something I needed to see as I was being guided there. Granted, it was clean when I sat down, but that’s not the point. The food was okay at best. I had no issues with the way it tasted, but it looked like the cooks slopped everything on the plate. It was badly laid out. I don’t think I’ll be coming back here anytime soon.

Went here for dinner last night. Our waitress kept forgetting to bring us food we orderd. Felt really sick when I got home and had stomach pain this morning. Then I tried to eat my left over omelet this morning for breakfast and found broken pieces of a Plat in it. Tried to call the restaurant to complain all day and couldnt get through to a manager. Needless to say I am very upset concerned and disappointed.

Service is excellent. Check out their 4 – 8 menu and if you’re hungry at night, they have ½ off appetizers and specials

It’s a pretty standard diner/Denny’s type place. I’ve had both breakfast and lunch here. I prefer breakfast only because they have giant muffins available and leave a carafe of coffee on your table. The service here is nice, no complaints there.

The food is the same as any Perkins, which I think is good for the price. This Perkins seems to have all it’s focus on the tables though. Once you’re seated service is friendly and fast, however getting seated can take awhile sometimes. And paying at the end at the counter can often be a long wait as well. If I was a less honest person this would be a pretty easy place to dash and dine as there’s usually nobody up front and it’s seldom checked on. But I am an honest person, and the table service is great.

This is a good place to go if you’re looking for a decent, non-fast food meal without a lot of time or money. The food is, on the whole, good. This location is especially convenient, being open 24 hours and in the center of Midway. The service is a little slow. It might take a minute to get seated and you might find that what you receive isn’t exactly what you ordered(at least at night). Recommended.

Just how I remember it. Very urban ambiance. Lots of people watching. Parking lot quite active. Decent well done burger.

About a month ago I was working through the night, and began getting *really* hungry around 4am. When I was young I enjoyed Perkins as my family would stop at all different locations during road trips. Loved it back then. Would order an omelet w/pancakes always with the 3 different kinds of syrup. I don’t know if something changed, if it’s only a few select Perkins, or just my general taste in food, but the food is definitely sub-par. I remember stopping in at a Perkins a couple years ago and barely stomaching the food and thought it was a fluke. With my limited options, I boldly entered this Perkins at 4am. The waitress was nice. An officer was sitting in the booth talking on a personal phone call through most of my meal, but I didn’t mind. Ordered an ham & cheese omelet w/hash browns and pancakes and a coffee. Cheese was a «cheese sauce» I would say like Velveeta. Hash browns were slimy, and pancakes with the assorted syrups(maple, blueberry, apricot) were disgusting. I was just swallowing to get food in my stomach at that point. The meal was $ 12.50 with tip. I would have expected the meal to cost a max $ 4 after I finished. In a way it was good the food was disgusting as I was able to quickly swallow so I would not taste it and get back to work.

We went to the one on Franklin in Minneapolis. We went at 11 on a Sunday, and the service was great and friendly. Amazing for a Perkins. An amazing and fulfilling breakfast for me. The rest of the menu(lunch/dinner) is available at 11, so boy got to get something he liked too.

So, I was at the one in Osseo. The server was actually friendly, attentive and nice. Weird… I was at Perkins, right? Our food came super fast, which was nice. Food was dependably good. This Perkins seemed a little cleaner than the average Perkins.

Perkins, like Embers and Denny’s, are some of your very few choices for middle of the night dining. You can eat there during the day as well, but because of having options, you will likely not bother. In the mornings, these places are populated by old men drinking coffee and reading newspapers. In the evenings, there are usually students studying and hanging out. At night, there are drinks and addicts freaking out all over. This location may have decided to close at midnight because of all the freak-tards. I remember being here before the change and bombed and f’d people would decide to crash through emergency exit doors setting off fire alarms and things and not notice. Every Perkins now has a cop hanging out in the entrance at night to deter crazy bastards. Can’t say as I blame them. Every Perkins will also have the exact same menu with the possible exception of special seasonal items. It’s a bit of a cross between pub food and diner.
