This is some of the worst Chinese I’ve had in St. Louis. We ordered the general tso’s chicken and a orange chicken combo plate, both staple Chinese foods at most takeout restaurants. In both, the chicken was tender but that’s the only good thing I can say about the General Tso’s. The flavor tasted like they had unloaded a bottle of soy sauce on it. It was inedible. The orange chicken was listed as a spicy plate but had no heat in it at all. It tasted ok, but the sauce was a strange gelled consistency. The ham fried rice that came with the combo also tasted like a bottle of soy sauce, also inedible. Finally, the crab Rangoon were passable but on the incredibly sweet side.(Fake crab flavor gone wrong?) Don’t waste your time or money here. Just because it’s cheap doesn’t make it good.

My mouth was watery for Chinese. There was hardly any beef in my fried rice horrible experience.

This is the obvious best Chinese take out; not only in the midwest. I’ve been around quite a bit and have had food from all over to me hands down it’s tops. The taste is probably why I rank it so high but please do try for yourself.

A surprise gem in St. Louis — great food and very reasonably priced. I agree with the other reviewer that this is one of the best Chinese food restaurants, and I have eaten at many across the US.
