Perfect! I got a pedicure from Hung P. So relaxing and the perfect getaway from the stress of flying!

Fabulous concept. Had a 3 hour layover and saw the word Spa and it brought a smile to my face. Yeah!!! The service menu is a little confusing — I take that back — it is very confusing! You will understand why at the end. Ok, so I said, how about a 20 minute foot massage and a mini-facial. I sign the log book and give them my cell phone number. They will call me when a «slot» opens. Waited about 15 minutes in one of their empty recliner/massage chairs. Actually very nice. A gentlemen comes over and turns on the recliner massager and starts massaging my feet. Actually very nice. Another gentlemen comes over and starts to place some soothing pads on my face and asks«Do you want the collagen eye pads?» — I said, «OK, sure». Thinking that he was asking if it was ok to place pads on my eyes. There are soothing pads on my face and eyes. He then massages my face(on top of the pads) and neck and arms and upper shoulders. He then removes the pads. I was in the chair a total of 30 minutes for the foot massage and mini-facial. I was actually relaxed and it was nice. Now here comes the«problem». The gentleman that did my facial tallies up the bill. $ 40 for a 20-minute foot massage. $ 40 for a Collagen Full Face Mask AND another $ 30 for Collagen Eye Mask. Hmmmmm $ 110 for 30 minutes. I was prepared to pay $ 70 plus tip — I was not prepared to pay $ 110 plus tip. This spa is a very nice concept and I will use it again. But please be careful about the prices and services. Ask about detailed pricing before the services are performed. I am giving 2 stars because the facial gentlemen clearly knew that he was misleading me with that $ 30 collagen eye add-on. UPDATE: I have always said that if the Company Customer Service Department is exceptional, that is a true reflection of the. core of the company itself. ExpresSpa gets 5 Stars for their Customer Service Department. I was contacted and they wanted to know all of the details so that they could put new training in place to prevent my situation from happening again. They were truly apologetic that this happened. Now that is customer focus at its best. Kudos to ExpresSpa and Betsy at Customer Service. You now have a valued customer and I will step into your oasis on my travels again! I did truly enjoy the foot massage and the facial — the staff was very nice. The place is small, and lots of people walking by, but you are in an airport, what do you expect? With that in mind, and the resolution of my experience, I would say that I am a fan, and would be delighted to use their services again when I am in an airport and have extra time.

After reading some of the reviews on this location, I must agree with some of them in regards to the lack of service at this particular location. I’m a fan of XpresSpas throughout the country and am always glad to see one in any airport. I always take advantage of their services; however, early last year when i had a layover in St Louis I found out that the airport had a XpresSpa. My flight landed at 6pm and knew i wanted to go straight there, but to my surprise it was closed(their sign stated that they closed at 8pm or 8:30 can’t remember exact time). So, this was my first experience with this location. Today, though, the experience was very different. I stopped in to get a 20 minute massage and it was wonderful. The therapist focused on areas with tension. It was the perfect destresser. My experience today was 4⁄5. I will say that the facility itself is small and probably the smallest one I’ve ever been to. The massage chairs are right at the entrance visible to passerbys. It is pricey($ 40 for 20minutes), but I expect it because I’m paying for convenience. They also do manicures and pedicures. I will definitely return.

Sigh. I had a really long layover and was exhausted traveling back from a conference. When I walked by this place in terminal E, I was thrilled. What a perfect way to kill some time and get some recharge. Too bad it never happened. They had a menu out front and did offer a good variety of services. When I decided what I wanted, I went in and asked the receptionist for the next available spot. I actually asked to be polite(instead of just sitting down one of the three pedi chairs because they were dead.) To my surprise, she told me they were completely booked for the rest of the day.? The place was 100% empty and there were 3 employees literally just sitting around. I thought she was joking but she said it so rudely I got the impression they just didn’t want to do any work. So I left and was so upset I called their corporate customer service line to complain. No one answered, I left a message. No one has yet to call me back.(And I have never done anything like that; I was just that bothered.) I walked back again, looking for a place to eat, and saw they had these really plush looking blankets. I was in browsing their stuff when an employee told me they were closing. What? Their hours said until 8:30PM and it was only 5:00PM. She said they were short-staffed…really? 3 – 4 lounging around with zero cliens? Something is definitely up with this place. Also, the prices are REALLY expensive. They are on par with actual nail salon prices. And you’re not even in a relaxing setting. There are hundreds of people walking by watching you get a mani/pedi/massage. But whatever, I was just that exhausted. AVOID this location. If this is how they treat people just asking a question or browsing product, I don’t think you want to trust them touching your nails with sharp tools. However, I will see if I can try an ExpresSpa at another airport. Great concept.

What a great concept! I had some time to kill so I got a chair massage which was alright. If you want to get a service, I recommend getting there well before your flight. The place is packed so there is a wait. Also, don’t expect to get a manicure or something 20 minutes before your flight boards. Not going to happen. Prices are inflated airport prices but when you’re at the St. Louis Airport, you’re not going to find anything better to do.

I attempted to go in here while waiting for a flight and the staff were incredibly rude. They claimed to be fully booked-up even while it was basically empty(1 – 2 customers) and most of the staff were just lounging around and continued to do so right up until I got on my plane, since my gate was right next door. They clearly had people available; I think they just didn’t like the looks of me or something, which is, to be honest, pretty comical. Just for the record, I look like an unkempt redneck, but I’m super-loyal and tip heavily, so sucks to be you guys. Plus the prices are ridiculous. And I’m a New Yorker, I am well-accustomed to things being gratuitously expensive, but $ 55 for a 25-minute chair massage? Oh honey, no. The least expensive thing in there are the massage chairs – yeah, like the ones you pay a dollar for three minutes in at the mall. And even those were a dollar or more per minute. Also, when you’re lucky enough to actually have shop space in an airport, it is just really bad planning to put the massage chairs right in the front window, where it’s noisy and everyone is staring at you as they go by.
