Wing Zone

Well, if you’re going to eat here, don’t order through Eat24. It CLEARLY states that the ¼ burger includes bacon and cheese. When my burger did not, I obviously, asked why. «That’s extra» he says. After several minutes of back and forth I finally decided it wasn’t worth the hassle of the drive back (especially to pay for what was supposed to be included). I also ordered a fountain drink. He asked me if I’d prefer a bottle to which I responded «no, I’d prefer the fountain drink». He tells me he doesn’t think they have any tops for the cups. All in all, the food is ok, but not worth the price and DEFINITELY if you’re not even getting what you thought you paid for.

Delivery driver went to the wrong address which added 20 min to delivery time. We waited over an hour and a half for food and finally gave up when she (the manager on duty” refused to prorate/​discount it. She said they don’t guarantee anything regarding delivery or times. Incredibly rude, awful service.

Absolutely worst experience I have ever had. I ordered my food (20 boneless wings and an order of fried mac and cheese bites) at 7:00pm and was told it would be 30 – 45 minutes. At 7:50pm Wing Zone called and said they were sorry that it was taking so long but it would be another 15 minutes and they would add a dessert (so obviously the driver was not on his way if they are adding food). 8:30pm rolls around and I still have no food. I call to cancel my order, she says she refunded my card (still yet to be determined) but if the delivery guy shows up, to tell him to leave the dessert and take the food. The delivery guy shows up 5 minutes after that call and not only does not have dessert, but leaves an order of shrimp and fries. Upon another call back, they do not do anything to remedy the situation and Beatrice (who said she was the manager) said that she «has been on the phone too long with me and the issue has not been resolved so she has to go» and she proceeded to hang up on me.

1^st time here and order was messed up twice. I drive by here 5 days a week and always wanted to stop and try it. Guess I’ll continue to pass it by… Nice try wing zone could’ve had a good customer a couple times a month but you jacked it up

I just moved to the Gate District and stopped by Wing Zone to grab some lunch. I ordered the chicken tenders and they didn’t disappoint! Great choice of sauces and a friendly staff keeps me coming back for more.

We got the chicken tenders combo, one of my friends described them as «suspiciously» tender. The fries were pretty decent as well, but the toast tastes like Wing Zone smells. All in all it was enjoyable for a fast food wing place.

Ordered wings for delivery, my card was charged, and after an hour of waiting for them to arrive, I called the location. I was told pretty apathetically that they don’t do deliveries anymore. In fact, they don’t even take orders online, so my wings were never even made. When I asked why I was able to pay for something that was never going to get, the guy had no answer. I asked him to refund my money, and he told me I’d just have to do it myself through their website.

Food was hot and service was great. My fries were a little old. That’s the reason for the 3 star’s

I usually leave the ratings to you experts but this place may be the worst wing restaurant in the history of wings. Placed a delivery order via Unilocal,menu was incorrect, didn’t get the 2 favors I ordered. The favors I did get, the wings weren’t done.

So I remember there used to be a wing zone on Deballivere by the delmar loop area. It was gone. So I was happy to see this location off of Jefferson. It’s really nice. The shopping complex is pretty much new. So they have a small seating area. They prepared the food to order. So expect a wait. Or call ahead. I will say my order was worth the wait. The menu selection is nice, & big. I love all the wing flavors. Lots of variety on that subject. I ordered the the 10pc boneless wings with fries n Texas toast. My Friend ordered the 10pc. Wings with fies n Texas toast. The sauces I got was nuclear habbenero, n tame. Not a fan of tame. Loved the other 1. It wasn’t overpriced. But a few dollars more than u’d wanna spend

Food is decent if you pick up or dine in but do not order to go from this place! I work about ten minutes away and delivery took an hour and a half during an off peak time. When they finally delivered the food, I discovered several things wrong with the order. They forgot a few of the drinks, side dishes and sauces we had paid for. The driver promised to bring the items to us and we had to wait another hour for him to do that. I read several other reviews that listed the same problems.

The food here is okay. If you’re in the area and looking for wings, definitely not a bad choice. If you’re looking for any sort of decent service, though, DO NOT order online or over the phone! I ordered a meal for my coworkers and I tonight, and they got not one, but TWO parts of the order wrong! I called to have it corrected, and the gentleman on the phone told me that I was wrong! Then, when I drove back up there to trade out the wings that they had messed up, there was a woman sitting in plain view in the kitchen drinking a bud light! I’ve only got EIGHT YEARS of customer service experience under my belt, but that seems a bit off to me. Am I right?

The food is ok and the wings are small. It’s good enough for a snack because the portions are small. Don’t come here thinking you will get full. The price is too high for the small amount of food that you get.

If it were not for a co-​worker going here for lunch one day, I would have never discovered the haven of wings. They offer 18 different flavors of wings and 4 different levels of heat index. When I’ve been craving chicken wings at home, I’ve had local pizza joints deliver them to me. Not any more, my wings will be coming from the Wing Zone.
The wings are a good size. As Goldielocks would say, «Not to big and not to small, they are just the right size.» They offer a Buddy Pack of 20 wings (2 flavors), Family Pack 35 wings and a Party Pack of 50 wings. The family and party packs allow you to pick 3 flavors. You can have your choice of original or boneless. To me, boneless is just baby chicken tenders. Give me the bone.
I’ve tried three different flavors; Buffalo Bliss, Lemon Zinger and Garlic Parm. I liked the Buffalo, but next time will increase my heat index and order the Hot Shot. The Garlic Parm, was just okay and those who are fans of Lemon Pepper will enjoy Lemon Zinger, as I did.
Sides are fast food okay. The onion rings are obviously dumped from a frozen bag, don’t waste your time ordering them. If you need a Fried Pickle fix, theirs will do the trick, but seriously they are nothing to write home about. The Wedge Fries, are a good companion to their chicken wings. Don’t waste your time or money ordering a salad.
Counter service is polite. I suggest you call ahead and order if you want to pick-​up, otherwise you’ll be standing and waiting while they make your wings. I’m excited to know my house is within their delivery area, making my cravings for chicken wings an easy fix.

Promising bold flavors and a relaxed (yet a little energetic) atmosphere, the Wing Zone off of Jefferson has introduced St. Louis to what much of the rest of SEC territory has already known: WZ is a little bit different in a good way.
While dining in for lunch a few weeks ago, my group and I heard the greeting («Welcome to Wing Zone») repeated genuinely many times and there was plenty of popcorn for the wait. The dining room is basic, bright and clean though don’t expect for it to be memorable. Because they seem to make everything fresh (or at least fry the wings freshly), a few minutes’ delay should be expected at the very least. For those dining in, the food’s brought to the table after you place an order at the front counter.
What went well?
*Our group ordered wings tossed in at least 5 different flavors. Of those, only one was given a ‘meh’ (the Garlic Parmesan). The others were well-​received, comparing as on-​par with Hooters.
*The fries are seasoned wedges and are pretty good, especially if they’re cooked towards the crispier side. Flavor-​wise, these reminded me of Arby’s Curly Q’s but with a milder savoriness.
*Management was responsive in resolving issues.
What didn’t go well?
*Of six diners, one received a delayed order, one received the wrong sauce (…and was nearly charged for the correction) and one had to ask for his food. For a lunch group out of Downtown with only an hour to eat, these sorts of delays pose a major problem.
By now, with a few more weeks under its belt, the outlet might have sorted out whatever minor training or other issues were present.

I heard about the new Wing Zone that opened up not far from my office downtown and decided to pick some up on the way home from work. I picked up a couple of boneless wing baskets with Wedge Fries for my family. I tried the Buffalo Bliss, Sweet Samurai, Tokyo Dragon and Garlic Parm. I loved them all! The restaurant was clean, the service was friendly, and I loved that they offered a side of popcorn while I waited. It does take about 10 minutes or so for the food to arrive, but it comes out hot and tasty!

What a nice experience! Upon entering a wonderful greeting was heard, welcome to wing zone! Popcorn was offered while we waited (nice touch). Now for the food, tenders were hot & moist, paired w the liquid gold sauce. Delicious. The boneless wings I got Tokyo dragon sauce, very good, wanted more heat so I’ll have to come back & try nuclear habanero. Fries excellent. Banana cheesecake bites delish! I’ll be back many many times!
