Whispers Cafe

After studying in the Olin Library on campus for an entire day, it’s nice to know I won’t starve. Whispers Café food is served until midnight most days of the week so I can get my coffee fix (featuring Kaldi’s Coffee) or my calorie-​loaded muffin pretty late. They have banana, chocolate, and blueberry muffins. The Café is also useful for mid-​day walk-​throughs between classes. I can grab a bagel and cream cheese and a drink for under $ 5. I usually get a asiago cheese bagel with a cranberry-​apple minute maid drink. It’s enough to keep me going. Even though the food closes up around midnight, the location itself is open 24 hours.
The Café does not take credit cards. Don’t make the same mistake my mother did when she came to visit. She got a coffee and a muffin and only had her credit card with her. I had to bail her out, although it was nice that other people (whom she didn’t know, but coincidentally did know me) offered to pay for her. They accept meal points and cash.
