Fast food is fast food is fast food. But in the big, wide world of fast burgers and fries, Wendy’s is pretty alright(especially after they changed their menu a few years back). This Wendy’s, however, is consistently terrible. I am so surprised to see any positive reviews – especially glowing ones – because I have never received good food or good service here. Two or three times I’ve had to pull off to the side and wait 10 – 15 minutes for the food(and each time this happened there’s wasn’t a line… weird). The fries are typically either overcooked or undercooked and they taste like the grease hasn’t been changed in quite a while. The burgers are so haphazardly thrown into the bag that it would be comical if it wasn’t such a hot mess. And the employees are pretty consistently grumpy. I’ve had the drive-thru window straight-up shut on me while I was trying to politely ask for some ketchup for the two orders of fries and two burgers I was taking home for my husband and I. I waited for them to reopen the window so I could request the aforementioned ketchup and, when they finally opened it, the lady just looked at me and frustratedly asked, «Yeah??» like I was majorly inconveniencing her. I said, «Can I have a handful of ketchup packets, please?»(we like ketchup at my house) and she handed me a single packet – no, I’m not kidding – and shut the window again. I would’ve just driven off if I knew we had ketchup at our house but, seeing as how we didn’t, I waited again. Again the window rips open and an unhappy voice greets me…“What?!” «More ketchup, please?» Another single packet. Window shuts. I gave up at that point. That visit is pretty par for the course in my experience. Bad, bad, bad.

Awesome Wendy’s. The folks here take pride in their store and their food. It shows. The food was so yummy. The manager was so friendly and was even helping elderly folks to their seats. Love it

I’ve had lunch here a couple times now that I work nearby and they handle the crowd pretty well. I haven’t had any issues with my Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger with Everything order and I’m also going to say that this is one of the better Wendy’s in the area. I’d even skip over the one at 170 and Page to get to this one.

Horrible HORRIBLE service. First time I went they forgot a burger, second time forgot my keychain from the charity promotion, third time I was YELLED at by the manager for requesting a ranch dressing at the window instead of at the speaker. The fourth, and last time I went here, I was asked to pull ahead to wait for my order which is fine, however after at least 15 minutes I had to go inside and ask for my refund. The manager was extrememly rude, offered no apology and slammed my money on to the counter and walked away. The guy next to me said, she is always a «b».

Frostys n Freedom Fries Friday! Did you know there are now two Wendy’s on Page Ave? Today we had a hankering for ice cream, and rather than go to a buffet and pig out we decided to get Frostys n Fries from Wendy’s instead. This Wendy’s location is actually newly built, not a reopened previous location. And, it’s in a good location for all of you working in Earth City, Maryland Heights, and even parts of Creve Coeur. Probably too far to drive to fast food normally, but for Frosty Freaks, and Wendy’s Fans, its just far enough. I of course, got a small vanilla Frosty, and spicy chicken nuggets and fries off the dollar menu. My lunch was only 3.19!!! Is Wendy’s making a comeback in STL? Well, with two locations on Page avenue between 270 and 170, it sure seems like it. If you’re feeling like giving yourself a treat, go get some dollar fries and dip’em in your Frosty, and like the cup says, it’ll be impossible to frown while enjoying one!
