Wal-Mart is a soul suck of a company. They care less about their customers than they do about their employees, so… not at all.

Unfortunately this store has turned into a poorly stocked pig sty with employees that seem more concerned about standing around and talking amongst themselves than assisting customers. Years back this was a nice store… not so much any more. Any time I’ve shopped in there regardless of the day or the time the selves are only half stocked and the store has taken on a very«trashy» appearance. Too bad. I won’t frequent this store, I’ll go further to Fenton or Arnold even though Telegraph is closest to my home. If I could I wouldn’t even give it one star. Walmart management, are you paying attention and reading these reviews?

I like Walmart for picking up basics. I stopped going to this particular Walmart a few years ago because of the sharp deterioration in cleanliness and customer service. Although it’s a little longer drive I’ve been going to the Arnold location since then(very nice Walmart btw). I dropped by this location for the first time in the last few years today to quickly return a t shirt and pick up a few groceries — thinking I’d give it another chance. Worst. Mistake. I won’t go into details but the employees are snarky — almost passive aggressive — and poorly trained. The management has just given up on the concept of getting a handle on things judging by their nonchalant attitude. It is possible to have a nice shopping experience at Walmart but not this one.

Couldn’t find half of the things I, my girlfriend, or her mother wanted! Poorly stocked and everything is messy! I understand this isn’t a high class establishment but it doesn’t have to be trashy! Would NOT recommend going to this Walmart!

This is a Walmart. That is about all I can say about that. It is always busy. It is hard to get in and out of easily. The cart guys will are a bit scary. but it serves its purpose.

I know they don’t care but feel the need to review this place while I’m standing here at the deli counter being ignored by 5 different employees who have all seen me, made eye contact, and continued to either offer assistance to other people across the counter wanting hot food or just doing other things. It took me 2 attempts to get someone’s attention that was a foot away from me and then 5 minutes later to get the 2 things I needed… I have come to accept the necessary evil that is Wal-Mart but that doesn’t make it any more acceptable… hate it here

Poor customer service even in the self checkout. I thought using the self checkout would be faster but alas it wasnt. Went through with a pair of trimmers but the register stopped and said waiting for attendent. I had to wait 10 minutes for the employee to get done with someone else so that he could come over and advance the register to the next step. Guess what it was, it wanted to sell me an extended warranty for a 30dollar item. Which i said no too. So where is the time savings in this? How bout asking me the question before requiring the attendant to come over.

Walmart has become so sloppy! Not just this location either! I am a self appointed Target snob. I prefer it for the quality and style and the effort they make to support the community they are in. The reasons Walmart isn’t getting only 1 star for the sheer sloppy embarrassment of a store that it is: CHEAP camping gear CHEAP spray paint(TON of colors) CHEAP kids school supplies CHEAP electronics CHEAP medication With the exception of tank tops and the like, I will rarely buy clothes from Walmart. Overall, it’s a hot mess. Have some pride… clean your store!

When you need something quick, go to Walmart. This is the location closest to my house. Sometimes its very much a hit or miss here. I feel this one could use a big cleaning and upgrade and maybe reorganization to make it up to par with the others but because it gets customers from both South County and from Illinois, it is a good location. There have been times where I have felt the need to call the manager but the feel I get from the employees is that he won’t do much about the complaints. I just usually hope that my next visit is better and usually it is.

This is the world’s most amazing Walmart… You know at Target how when you walk in they have bins full of cheap Made-in-China shit for a dollar? This Walmart has those. It is giant. Clean. Amaaaaaazing. Only had one bad experience here(last night) where they were grossly understaffed and lines at the register extended down the aisles. I had to use(shuddeer) a self-checkout lane. All my other experiences here have been fab, and I will drive out of my way to go to this Wally World when I have time.

It was 10:30pm, my little three year old girl & I were picking up some milk, scotch tape, baggies, and hair spray. I also found a cool hat for $ 4.00, a princess cup, purple nail polish, and cheddar gold fish. We were almost out of there, when at least 10 black guys that are Wal-Mart shelf stocking employees began to get rowdy. They were walking super fast, jumping around, and yelling slang at an older gentleman. I honestly felt scared ditched the cart and got the hell out of there. I was not expecting this behavior so far out in South County.

It’s Walmart… They have things you need like deodorant, big screen tv’s, lamps and groceries if you can’t make it to a grocery store before they close or you just need a budget break. But Do I WANT to go here? No… I have been to nicer Walmarts and even though they redid this specific one a few years ago… Its just not«nice». I haven’t been to a «nice» Walmart as of yet anyway. I prefer Target.

This Wal-Mart is the closest to my home, so this is the one I go to. They’ve added the supermarket section to the Wal-Mart, so I do my blitz shopping here. I love the selection you have at Wal-Mart, although at this store, there are items where the selection is skimpy. In one visit to the store, I had a couple items that I specifically wanted to find(candles and plumbing equipment). While they had both items, they only had one type of tealight and one type of the plumbing equipment I was looking for. I wanted neither of what they had. I don’t know how other Wal-Marts are, but at this one, it’s like driving a car. Before you go into the intersection, you look both ways because you will more than likely plow into someone. The smaller aisles are too slender for the volume of customers they get there on the weekends. Since the remodel was done, I don’t notice clothing or other items fallen onto the floor, so kudos to the personnel that keep it cleaned up. The main isles are fine, even with items stocked in the middle of them. A few visits ago, we bought some fried chicken(which smelled wonderful coming into the store), but when we got home, I discovered that it was undercooked. Had the store been closer to my home, I would have carted it back, instead it was wasted money and a lesson learned. Never buy fried chicken at Wal-Mart. Undercooked chicken is enough to put me off food for a couple days. Blech! I’ve pointed out my negative experiences at this store, but in general, I find what I’m looking for and at a price I consider reasonable in most cases. I don’t normally ask for assistance from the staff so I can’t really speak to that. The checkers I’ve encountered have been pleasant and have no negative experience to relate. Parking on the weekends means a good hike. I’ve never lucked out and gotten anything close to the store, but I look at it as good exercise.

Update(11÷2÷11) Not all cashiers here are racists. Some cashiers are nice and friendly. If it’s not because of the stupid lady who asked about my race because they have a «code» for it then I would have given this place more stars. Old Review One of the lady cashier is a RACIST! The lady in the cashier asked me if I was a Filipino, which is I am. Then I asked them, if does it matter? She asked me there was a code for everyone. What code??? Do they have a code for different race??? I called Wal mart and told them about this situation and they told me that they do NOT have such code. In LA they would have automatically apologize to me about what happened(standard thing to do when a customer is upset), but here nothing. I have never been asked about my race for a CODE in any store in Los Angeles, California. This place SUCKS!!!

I only went here because it was very late and Lowe’s was closed and Target does not sell plants and I needed a few more for my community garden bed. I thought going later meant you could avoid the trashy clientele that Wal-Marts are so famous for… but…no. Did you know they close the garden area off after ten o’clock or so? Couldn’t even get my damn plants. And still ending up in line next to some dude who hadn’t bathed for at least three days. Egad. Stick with Target.

I was convinced to go back to this Wal-Mart by a friend who somehow convinced me that the remodel of this place made it a tolerable place to shop. WRONG. New façade, same clientle, same disgusting establishment. Putting a Super in front of their name did nothing to remedy how bad this place is. I don’t care how bad the economy gets… I will always pay the extra 3 cents to buy my health and beauty products at Target.
