Worst Toys R Us location of all time. The General Manager«Heather» should be avoided at all costs. Went to buy a bike at the Sunset Hills location and they were sold out. They called the South Lindbergh location and they had one left. When we got there, Heather(the manager) would not sell us the display model. She said it was at her discretion to sell or not sell floor models and as we reasoned with her, ready to buy the bike she simply refused, even though other stores can and do sell display models. Heather was not only unhelpful she was actually smarmy and self-righteous in her stance — seemingly oblivious to the fact that paying customers are the only thing keeping Toys R Us in business and her in a job. Worst Manager ever. Avoid at all costs.

I thank my lucky stars that I only shop at a Toys R Us two times a year. Once for the birthday of the little girl next door and then again at Christmas. These two times are enough, if I had to do it a third time I think I may have to commit myself to a mental hospital. Seriously, it’s not that bad. They have a huge selection of toys, after all their name is Toys R Us. I mainly focus on the Barbie section, a new doll and several outfits. Finding the Barbie section is hell, but as I search for it I am amazed at all the other toys and the variety of themes that I come across as I hunt that bitch down. What drives me crazy is that their aisles are like a maze, they go every direction imaginable. They’ll go vertical, then they’ll switch to short horizontal aisles. The store is huge, so it does make sense to switch it up, because those would be some long aisles. Once I find the bitch who has everything, I make my selections and head to the cashier. The staff here are a bunch of big kids and that is a good thing. They are friendly and truly seem to be having fun while at work.

Toys R Us — bring a crash helmet, some earplugs, and loads of patience. This location is no better or worse than any other, except all of our staff interactions were very friendly and courteous, even when we were being told off for letting our 13 y.o. ride the Green Machine all around the skateboard area.(No one else was back there, FYI, and we were seriously considering a purchase.) Later, we beat each other with a wide selection of foam weapons — not just swords, but broadswords, battle axes, and even a mace! Very impressive selection of fake weapons; even a LARPer would be happy at Toys R Us. Tons of toys, games, etc. The prices are a little high compared to Amazon and it’s crawling with kids, but there’s a lot of fun to be had by browsing and looking at a store full of nothing but stuff for kids. You see some cool toys & games you’d never see otherwise(and can always buy later online). Some good sales, but that’s when the store gets really overcrowded. The cashiers are fast, though, and the lines move quickly. I was particularly impressed with their selection of «science» toys — one whole aisle of telescopes, microscopes, fingerprinting kits, human torso game, bug identifying books & nets, etc. They also have jumbo boxes of tinker toys and other classic toys from my childhood, tons of Lego sets, board games, more baby dolls than you’d believe exist, video games, dress-up clothes, even a pre-teen section with the obligatory skull-themed room décor. Toys R Us is a great store to spend an hour or two with your kids but I cannot imagine coming regularly, unless they opened up a shop next door called«Wines N Beers» where the grownups can hang out while the kids explore.

I have been shopping at Babies R Us and Toys R Us for the last 4 years and I have never been treated so horrible. I have bought all of my kids diapers, wipes, EVERYTHING there! The retun policy is unacceptable and I will now be doing all of my shopping elsewhere. No wonder they are having financial problems!!!
