This place is always super clean and VERY fast. Food is always great. Good quantity and quality. You can also call ahead and there is an automated line that tells you the meals they are making for the day. Great place all around. Must see

I inquired about catering for a holiday party. Rick came and walked the space, took down my information, then NEVER got back to us with a quote or anything. Highly disappointed since Tom Jon’s was referred to us. Beware if considering catering.

I don’t remember how I stumbled onto this place but I’ve been here many times, just failed to write a review. Take-out only, daily lunch special, and deli sandwiches. There’s usually 2 hot specials and a soup of the day. I typically go with the King Louie sandwich because it’s amazing and I can get 2 lunches out of the sucker it’s that freakin’ big. It’s also damn cheap. Cheap and huge… can’t go wrong with that! Daily specials usually run $ 7ish and there’s more than enough to eat there as well since they come with 2 sides and a roll.

In the mood for a Deli Sandwich or one of their two daily hot specials quick and fast? The portions well exceed the price paid.

Solid«hidden gem» that has apparently been around for almost as long as I’ve been alive. Meh, I discovered this place just like Christopher Columbus discovered America, I guess. A quick, cheap, and easy lunch operation. Was welcomed by smiling faces and a paper menu with a plethora of delightful options and explanations of the«King Louie», the«Missouri Club», and the«Russian River». Proceed with caution– swiss cheese rules at this simple, no frills takeout-only lunch joint. You have your choice of house baked sweet French bread, wheat, rye, pumpernickel, a kaiser roll, or a croissant for your sammie. I went for the house baked sweet French bread, because how could you not? If it had said«house baked yummy wheat bread», I probably would have gone for that. Okay. I lied. But still. The adjectives bundled before the French bread make it more justifiable. I just want to say that the bread was fricking incredible. Super soft and doughy and… ummm… sweet. Bread so good I wanted to read«50 Shades of Grey» out loud to it while sitting on a beach at sunset. I ordered chicken salad. It was really really good homemade chicken salad, which you can’t really fuck up. I could have taken a little more flavor, it was pretty bland, but still solid, although the menu did boast«seasoned» mayo. Seasoned with boringness, maybe. But boring’s alright. I’m ordering a mayonnaise based salad on bread. Clearly my life can’t take much more excitement. The prices were outstanding. I got a huge sandwich for like 5 clams. HUGE. Like, didn’t even eat the whole thing and still felt sick. This rarely happens to me. My nickname is Tape Worm. I mean seriously. But yeah, I pussed out and couldn’t even eat the whole sandwich. Score. They take credit cards for orders above 5 bones, and they are open Monday through Friday from 10:30 to 2. Definitely working this place into my regular rotation of lunch spots. GREAT service and cheap food. Just wish they had a couple tables in there.
