They have good food. The Guinness stew is awesome. Their Irish coffee is another great choice. Good music.

We are regulars here after every Rams game for years. The service has been slipping and today was a new low. They were out of a number of items on a Bears va Rams day. Bad preparation. The waitress was terrible. My husband asked for Bud Light in aluminum can. She brought a bottle. When asked She said they were out of aluminum bottles. We walked as the bartender served customers in front of us the aluminum bottles. We traded the bottle in at the bar. She brought dessert with no utensils. She never came back with them and we had to go find them ourselves. Unfortunately this is not an isolated incident. This has become the norm. We will find another after the game bar.

We were in town for a sports competition at the convention center and decided to try this place because of the proximity to the venue. The service was fairly unimpressive. We ordered our meals, and three separate times the waitress came back to tell us they were out of what we selected. They didn’t have the turkey club sandwich, the turkey dinner or the sweet potato side dish. We tried to order black and blues, and we got told they didn’t have Blue Moon. On a weekend where both the Blackhawks and Bears are in town, how can they be out of so much food??? Service by our waitress was slow. She seemed unknowledgeable about just about everything. I can’t say all the wait staff was this ineffective, but ours was less than impressive. The food they did have was pretty good. Portion sizes were generous. Prices were reasonable. Bottom line: we probably won’t return to this restaurant the next time we are in town.

Super friendly service from Bob the bartender! He made a nice pub much nicer. The Guinness is poured properly in a 20 oz glass. Great food as well. Try the pork steak. It melts in your mouth. Great pub!

Just not in love with this place. I would rather(and do) go to tigin. Food is mediocre and service is just ok. Been several times where it is a fight to get a drink! Prices are high for the service and quality. Weekends turn into a «bro bar» with party buses and have witnessed many a drunken fight! Would rather go places where that is nipped in the bud and can enjoy a classier evening out!

Was in town and always enjoy the local fare at Irish pubs. The Dubliner was our pick for dinner. Pros: Nice layout. Good location. Good sized portions. The wings appetizers were just about the BEST that I’ve had. Tasty, hot but not so hot a beginner wings fan can’t enjoy them. I honestly can say, I’d stop back just for those wings. Cons: A bit pricey, but that’s pub fare for you. So I don’t really hold that against them. I tried their Mac & Cheese. It was topped with bacon but did not seem to be baked with it mixed in, so the flavor really didn’t permeate the dish. Unfortunately, this did leave it a bit bland. Mixing in the pork before baking and using stronger cheeses makes for a tastier Mac&Cheese in my book. You do get plenty of it. I took half of it home and had it for lunch the next day. I wish I could give 3.5 stars. This is a nice place. Simple fare. Good for a pint or two. And most definitely, stop and try their wings.

Great Irish session there on Monday’s!!! The place smelled like an overflowing grease trap and they make the musicians pay for their own beer even though they bring in business. Boo! Ended up at McGurks

The place was slow around 5pm on a Saturday… ordered the Fish and Chips plus the mac and cheese. Everything was fresh and tasted great and I loved the mac and cheese. That being said… not a huge selection, so if your looking for a bigger menu I would choose another place.

The food was outstanding! But it gets 3 stars because they had a limited tap selection at 8pm on a Tuesday night… They ran out of a few beers(all of which I had wanted to try.) Jalapeño cheddar sausage was fantastic. Redneck beef tacos were a delicious appetizer.

I’ll start by saying that their mixed drinks are delicious! Their one of the few around here who can make an excellent Long Island! The atmosphere is just to my taste too. That being said, their food is not so hot. A little too oiled up. The fries would have been good, if they were less oil soaked and more crispy. I ordered the fish and chips. But again, one of the few bars around here that can make some delicious drinks. Also their super friendly and I love the staff :)

Everyone has told me that The Dubliner is the place to go on Wash Ave., and I was sorely disappointed. It’s super overpriced, and the clientele are college kids who don’t know how to drink and can’t handle themselves. If you’re in a group, I can see it being fun, but otherwise there is no reason to go. Plus the Irish Pub thing is played out, and it’s impossible to have a conversation over the noise.

Bar closes at 3… at 2:30 we were screamed at by the bouncer to «get the f@$& out». We were just sitting at the bar drinking, not causing any issues, yet we were treated with complete disrespect. Two of the six people we were with are bartenders and we ALWAYS tip very well, but after the obnoxious treatment from the bouncer the bartender unfortunately did not respond to our complaints and her final tip reflected her service. We were then yelled at by the bartender for a «poor tip» and told by the«manager» to «get the f$&@ out» for not tipping the bartender. Unless you are underage with a fake ID try another bar. Oh and there was standing water in the women’s restroom… FYI to the management.

Stopped by here after work for a beer and some food, and it was mostly empty on a Monday evening.(People started trickling in about an hour and a half later though.) I noticed that there were some tiny dogs hanging out, which was different(in a good way, in my opinion). Our server was friendly and attentive and checked up on my boyfriend & me at just the right intervals. He was unintrusive every time, which is pretty hard to accomplish! Anyway, I had a Zwickel from Urban Chestnut and the jalapeño cheddar brat with German potato salad. I also stole half of my boyfriend’s side mac & cheese(which was a decent portion for a side!). The food was great and will have me coming back for more! I did find it odd that they don’t have a beer menu, but I guess it’s unnecessary when they advertise beers(that they presumably have) on the wall…

In St. Louis for an Irish convention(AOH) this week. Stopped here for lunch on Thursday(7÷31÷14). We’ve been back for dinner twice since, and we are going here for brunch tomorrow too! Full menu with many Irish dishes and home made soups too! Clean, friendly and reasonable prices!

Overall thoughts while I was here: –Is this really an Irish bar? –There are A LOT of «bro» dudes here –The band is cool, I think it’s cute they are all wearing matching shirts –Bathroom is so dirty –Old guy bartender charged $ 20 for 2 Long Island Iced Teas and they taste like water So overall, two stars because«Meh, I’ve experienced better».

Bartender was super friendly, instantly made us feel comfortable. The food and drinks came out fresh and quick. They do cook their burgers rare so be aware. I ordered the«game» burger which is a daily/weekly special of some type of wild or exotic farm raised game. It happened to be wild bore that conveniently enough tasted just like beef. Tried getting details as to how they cut or mix the meat but the bartender wasn’t sure. It did come from Texas though. Overall great experience and I will return.

When you get inside it gives an irish exclusive impression. Lights are generally dim(like all bars) but it feels like they have kept it this way to hide old architecture of the place. There is even a bar upstairs if you Are not very find of crowds. They even call bands to perform every now and then. Over all the place is decent.
