Great place to eat drink and be merry. Staff is friendly. Mizzou bar. However, the food has yet to impress me. I must have been here 15 times and have yet to truly enjoy a meal. Pretty sad. Probably bad management. Not all managers know good food.

We really like the food and atmosphere at The Corner and dine there often, but it seems like they have jacked their prices up recently. $ 10 for a cheeseburger, and $ 14 for a Philly Cheesesteak. The food gets 5 stars in most cases, service is usually 4 stars, but their current prices get 2 stars. I know costs are increasing, but this seems excessive for this type of restaurant.

Always sit at the bar and have Lindsey take care of us. She’s great and very attentive. Food has always been good. Tried the Fish Taco’s last night and they were amazing. Lightly breaded and does not overpower the rest of the wrap. Beer is always cold and drinks are good. Pretty busy place every time we visit so must be a reason.

Decided to give this a try and ordered fish and chips to go. Uniform fish sticks that were very dry and was more like what you would get in a box of frozen fish sticks. Fries were normal. Cole slaw comes in a teeny tiny container. It’s average bar food from what I can tell. I was surprized this was so bad because they are the same owners as «The Shack» a couple of doors down — and that place is awesome.

Not impressive but adequate. Someone must like it. It was really crowded at 5:30 on a Friday nite. I had a bison burger for the $ 2.99 upcharge. It was fine. Purportedly ½ lb for $ 12.49. The side of loaded potato salad was not much to write home about. Two $$ signs and a buck or 2 higher than some better places. The appetizers were kind of expensive. The bar side was noisy and the restaurant side was kind of noisy. Parking is in a shared lot with other businesses, so plenty of space. The service was fine. There were a couple of tv’s in the smaller room at the back.

I wanted to give this one 5 stars but the combination of the atmosphere and draft beer costs left me unsure of the value. The veggie burger was perfect, although I had to remind the person delivering the food that there was a side. The OG Stout, which is their beer in cooperation with O’Fallon Brewery, was sturdy and glorious. However, the $ 7 charge on the bill was a surprise for a local craft beer. The Urban Chestnut my husband drank was $ 6, which was on the higher price end of craft beer, as well. I would have felt better about the beer prices and overall excellent service, if it wasn’t for the«family pub» atmosphere. Coughing and fussing could be heard from the family with two little ones seated next to my right. Thus, I felt rushed to finish my beer and pay. I noticed they do have a bar side, but it was small. They also have patio seating for nice days. The bill came to just under $ 41 for two beers, a house salad, and two burgers with sides. Unfortunately, this one is good, but will not be a regular dinner with a beer spot.

Disappointed. Looked like an awesome menu. Waited to get seated because the hostess was chatting with what looked like an employee who came in to visit. Had one waiter for 10 tables. We ordered the pretzel appetizer and it came out 45 min later burnt. Our meal came out at the exact same time. My fries were cold and the bread hadn’t even been toasted. My boyfriend’s burger was supposed to be medium and came out well done. Poor execution.

This place had some great reviews and we were new in town(October) when we gave it a shot. I think we just ordered the wrong items. Everyone raves about the burgers, so I think IF I were to try this place again, I will give the burgers a shot. I got the fish and chips… my chips were good, but the fish was like eating Van de Kamps(but worse). I spent like 11 or 12 dollars on the meal and got two small fish and some chips. My son ordered the kids meal and got more food than my fish and chips. My husband ordered the Patty Melt. I tried it and needed some spices and or salt. Sorry, we were just not fans. It is very pricey and can’t see spending $ 60 dollars on chips.

This place is a gem — everything I’ve had on the menu has been excellent(especially the fried pickles!!) and they have delicious mixed drinks along with the classics. The atmosphere is always enjoyable and service is professional and quick. There’s usually a long wait time on weekends, but it’s totally worth it!

Actually this is a 4.5 rating, because the food is wonderful, the price is right and the service is very attentive. The portions served are very generous. As large as this restaurant is the crowds and closeness of the tables keeps me from rating The Corner as a 5. A great place to eat. I couldn’t help but think of the TV show Hell’s Kitchen, because the complexity of the menu and vast numbers of covers makes me wonder how the chief chef keeps everything straight. We started to dine around 7 and the place was a mad house until after 9. A tip of the cap to the folks in the kitchen, all 12 of the meals in our party came out at the same time, all were piping hot and wonderfully served. I had the fish and chips. The chips were obviously made on sight and were great. The fish while not as good as the Yellowstone in Lamp and Lantern was far above average. The sides while small were wonderful. I could have made a meal from the Cole slaw. They also served a really great ranch dressing to dip the chips and fish it. Overall, I was amazed but I ate«the whole thing.» My wife had a huge wrap which she loved. Definitely recommend the Corner Pub, we will definitely go again. I understand they have another location on Clayton near Clarkson, but one of our party indicated it was not as well managed as this location. This is a go to. I wish it were not so crowded and loud.

Great place to grab a beer and some grub. Warning: this place is usually very busy. You may have to wait, but I have always found it worth it. The food is really good, and the beer selection isn’t bad at all. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The bar area is first come first serve, so if there is a wait, you may want to pop in there and see if anything is free. The wings are great. The burgers and sandwiches are also real good.

This is a great place to get a quick drink or get lunch. All the food is good. The burgers are really good and we generally will get the Black and Blue burger. Staff is friendly and give strong pours in wine. This is a great neighborhood bar!

I absolutely love this place! If you come on a busy weekend, it’s worth the wait. The service is consistently good and there’s a lot of seating. I usually come here for drinks and small plates… but I mostly ever order the brisket nachos. GETTHEBRISKETNACHOS: These are the best bbq nachos I’ve ever consumed and honestly when I order from anywhere else to compare, these knock them out of the ballpark. After moving from Kirkwood, I’m typically between Texas and Kansas City so I know my BBQ. I’m obsessed with these… they’re STACKED. Lots of toppings and the best part is the white queso sauce!!! It’s usually all at the bottom of the plate, but once you get to the steamy melty cheese it’s like Christmas Day. Sometimes, we’ll order to eat at the bar and get an extra order to go… that’s how good these are. You’re truly missing out if you’ve never tried them.

I must be an appetizer junkie because I loved the fried pickles and enjoyed them more than my bacon club burger. Burger tasted great and cooked to perfection. Onion rings were too brown in places and stuck together, I thought could have been watched while frying to make sure they didn’t stick together. Waitstaff was attentive in filling glasses and bringing the check.

The Corner Pub is a decent spot if you’re a sports fan, particularly of the M-I-Z… variety. If so, then welcome home-this spot is for you. You’ll love the sporty ambiance and pub grub while watching the game! They have quite an extensive menu of typical pub/bar type food. The service was attentive(there for a mid-week business lunch), and the food was good. It’s located in a strip mall. While I admit I’m directionally challenged, Siri once again sent me on a wild goose chase with her directions. Listen to her navigation guidance at your own discretion. This spot is not really my scene or neighborhood. So I probably won’t drive out of my way to return. However, if I’m in the neighborhood and hungry, I’d go back.

I’ve only come here for lunch so I can’t speak to the dinner scene but lunch has always be good. The service has been on point every time and the food has been good. I really enjoyed the Ariba burger. They normally have a good beer section but I’d like to see different taps.

Business lunch with co-workers. I’m pretty sure my young co-worker used Unilocal to pick the place. Kudos to him! I spotted the sliders almost as soon as I opened the menu. They come in sets of 3 and there are 3 varieties… chicken parm, buffalo chicken and burger. A quick inquiry confirmed that one can mix-and-match(not everywhere allows this, a plus for these guys). I went for one of each but subbed out the pepper jack cheese on the buffalo chicken. The chicken parm was predictable and a little on the bland side. It got set aside pretty quickly to leave room for the other two. The burger was good but not great. They were generous with the cheddar cheese and the sauteed onions but the patty itself disproportionately thin and a little bland. That left the buffalo chicken slider. By far the best! Their buffalo sauce has a little bit of a kick to it; the kind that warms your whole mouth and makes your lips tingle ever so slightly. The chicken was perfectly cooked such that it was both tender and juicy while retaining the crispness on the breading. Add in a little ranch dressing and every bite exactly described what I seek but only occasionally find in a buffalo chicken sandwich. A bit on the expensive side at $ 16.50 for the three sliders with a side salad and a soda. Service was nearly perfect and our waitress was incredibly accommodating. All said and done, it will be their buffalo chicken sandwich that summons me the next time we can’t decide where to go for lunch.

This has always been a good choice when we have a group of folks who want something different yet want to eat out together. The place is always clean and the staff always friendly. When it gets slammed service gets a tad slow but not unbearable. The most recent meal we had was a variety of appetizers, rice bowls, gyros, and American food(burgers). All came out at the same time and all were good. I was going to enjoy a beer-of-the-day but they were already out by dinner time! Time to erase the board then! This place is great for the area as well as they have hosted«Breakfast with Band» a few times now. They lay out a simple buffet and get ½ the ticket price. The Band kids help wait tables(mostly clean and refill drinks) but it has always been a successful fund raiser. AWESOME to have a business behind local groups!
