Krieger’s Pub & Grill

One of the worst dining experiences of my life. From the start if this «experience» the waiter wouldn’t even make eye contact with me, not when I was making my order, or paying my check. I thought I was treated disrespectful almost. Then I thought it would be fine to order the fish and chips, which was a mistake. Everything on my plate was soggy and bland, I’ve had rice that tastes more like fish than that. The «fish» itself didn’t stay together at all and was everywhere. And the more I ate, the sicker I felt. I couldn’t even finish my meal it was that bad. All together the fish, and a chicken sandwich which was orderd by a guest of mine who also told me that it was bad, was $ 35! For something that we didn’t even enjoy! I would never recommend this place to anyone, not even to people I dislike. I could have gone to an Imo’s pizza right next door and gotten something that would have tasted better and cost a whole lot less! Never going there again.

This location is under new ownership, and the changes are paying off. The draft beer selection is extensive. There is a evening happy hour, a late night happy hour, sports specials, plus daily specials. A new head chef has been hired, so the food selection and taste get better everyday. If you wrote off Krieger’s as being stuck in the 80’s I recommend you try this location again!

I came here on 12/​31/​2015. The last time I visited was on 12/​31/​2009. I find the coincidence to be funny and scary. Was it fate? Was it Karma? Or just dumb luck? I totally believe it was dumb luck. I ordered a burger again. And again it was good not great but solid. I ordered the bacon burger with Swiss cheese. I was served a Swiss cheese burger no bacon. Oh well that really is ok. The server seemed to be overwhelmed by our one table. Asked for mustard he forgot, told him the catsup was empty he forgot. So he was having a bad day. I was not the only person he forgot. One person did not get their soup until we were all finished. Oh yeah he forgot. Ton’s of burger places in the area so really no need to come back anytime soon. like maybe in another 6 years or so.

This is the second time I’ve eaten here, and the second time it’s made me sick. We ordered our drinks I ordered a root beer, which in the back of the menu it said Mug root beer. She brought out a bottle of Fitzes. Which would have been fine had I not had to pay per bottle. I brought this to her attention and she said she wouldn’t charge me for it, and instead charged me for a Pepsi. I was never offered a refill for the Pepsi I was charged for and never received. My boyfriend ordered a Pepsi and she brought out unsweet tea. He got the chicken tenders for his meal and barely a handful of fries, and he said the tenders tasted frozen. My burger on one side almost tasted like its was put over a gas flame. It tasted like some sort of lighter fluid. Not a char. We love the fries, and that’s pretty much it. For the amount we paid and the food we received it was not enough to make us want to return to this establishment. I hope your health codes are being followed because I shouldn’t have gotten sick both times. Either you leave your meat out or your freezer isn’t at the right setting. Hope you can restore this business to the restaurant my boyfriend loved as a kid and raved to me about. He was really disappointed.

Skip this dump! It was originally a franchised part of the kriegers chain. Now the owner has raised the prices and shrunk the seating space and the food is frozen food from Sysco. Just not worth the money. Do yourself a favor and drive an extra mile to a better establishment.

Wasn’t all that great. Lesser bar food. I’ve had burgers, salads, and wraps and each were awful… Not my first choice in restaurants.

I went to Krieger’s for their trivia night last night and had a great time. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. The waiter was prompt in asking if I needed a drink or food when I walked in and sat down at our table of 10. She was non-​intrusive but made sure our waters were full and we had everything we needed.
I ordered the buffalo chicken salad, which held up to my expectations. Plenty of dressing and the buffalo sauce was great. The chicken was cooked just right as well. I was surprised that they had such a comprehensive menu, as they definitely give off that sports bar/​pub grub vibe. But they had many options and everything the other members in my party ordered looked delicious. The mac n’ cheese came highly recommended by one of my dining partners and I would love to try it in the future.
The trivia night itself was well-​organized and even though I didn’t help my team very much, I enjoyed myself. Beware, the teams make an effort to come up with the most offensive team names they can, so be prepared and keep your PC mindset at home. Would definitely go again.

The seasoned fries and burgers were great. The service was ver good. Everything was a surprise until we got the bill. They charged us 50 for a tablespoon of Mayo and BBQ sauce, cents I know that isn’t much. But watch out as they are out to buckle and dime you.

I just don’t get this place. Been here three times… all three times the service for dinner has been frustrating. The burgers were OK but everything else has been a little below par. It just seems like nobody is trying to do a good job. It is like they are there, so they will serve you and cook the food however suits them.

The first 2 times I came here I had a decent meal and ok service. Those were by far my best 2 experiences… I went 5 more times and I was disappointed every single time. I had either poorly prepared food or really bad service and the last 2 times both. I like the items that are on the menu, just poor execution. I’d like to try another one of their locations sometime to see if it is just bad management… I may risk it as the florida style 5 alarm wings were really good the first time I went.

Although the food is a bit expensive for a bar/​grill, its very good. The best is the Blackened Grilled chicken sandwich and seasoned fries. It’s the best grilled chicken I have ever eaten anywhere and its not a one time thing but awesome every time.

Krieger’s has always been one of my favorites!
We’ve gone a lot recently because its a great place to watch the games at.
Be sure to ask for the season fries, they are the best! I haven’t found anything on the menu that I haven’t liked.

Just your average run-​of-​the-​mill neighborhood pub. For a sports bar, the service and good are decent. I was a little surprised that my glass of wine was $ 8/​glass and the selection was minimal — this was probably more my fault than anything for expecting a sports bar to have more than 1 varietal of dry white wine. They offer happy hour specials for early evening and late night that are decent for the area. The bar area has a jukebox and golden eye game in addition to a mega touch gaming machine. For a low key evening during the week with late night food, this is a decent option.

It had been a couple of years since I’d been here, but I met a few friends for happy hour yesterday at Krieger’s. I was the last to arrive in my group of five, and the others had already ordered drinks. I was there for nearly 20 minutes before we were finally able to get our waitress’ attention. She was behind the bar looking/​texting on her phone. She made some lame excuse about «being on a conference call.» I’m thinking her boss would not be OK with that! I then had to ask her three times for a water to accompany my beer.
The huge disappointment of the evening was discovering that Krieger’s happy hour runs from 6−9pm. My group and I are educators, so we start our work days early and end earlier than some professionals. Most happy hours, in my experience, run from 4−7pm, or some variation similar to that. Since we arrived at 4:30, we were not able to partake in any specials. Because of that, our happy hour group won’t be returning.
I will acknowledge that the food has always been pretty good at Krieger’s. That being said, they need to watch their prices.

One of the better pub /​bars around, if I had to rate them just based off their wings and beer, I’d give em a 3 and a half to a 4, but pretty much everything else is not so great. I usually come here with a couple buddies of mine to just enjoy some wings and beer while watching some sports.
The place itself has a pretty comfortable relaxing feel to it

30 min to get food despite being nearly empty. Fries were soggy, burger overlooked, service non-​existant. Won’t be back.

This place is our go-​to for carryout wings. Just wings. Everything else has been disappointing (nachos, sandwiches). We previously were ordering wings from TJ Wings but after screwing up our order a few times, we switched restaurants. The wings at Kriegers are much larger, although the sauce is not as hot (which is just fine for me since I can’t handle any heat without looking like a crybaby). The seasoned fries are OK and would prob be better if we didn’t limit ourselves to carryout.
My one complaint is the last time we ordered, they screwed up our order — we always ask for sauce on the side, but that didn’t happen this time despite repeating it several times when ordering + instead of 18 wings (which we paid for), we only got 12. Hopefully this was just a one-​time incident so we don’t have to find another place to order from.

Krieger’s has one of my all time favorite meals. Chicken fingers tossed in their golden honey sauce (You must try this sauce, it is addicting!) and I love their seasoned fries.
I will say, they increased their prices several months ago, and we go less often because of this. I still love their food though.
My husband loves the Cajun Chicken Pasta, and I also like their Chicken Sandwich that comes with sprouts on wheat bread. Lots of good food to choose from! The trivia on Wednesday nights is fun too!

I came here for a quick hamburger and fries and honestly I could have eaten at Mcdonald’s and saved a ton of money. The hamburger was rather greasy and the fries bland. I don’t know if it was an off-​day, but the place was rather dead and the staff didn’t seem to care whether I was there, or not. The waitress did come buy twice and checked on me and filled my water. I ordered my typical Rum ‘n diet and that was good. I guess I expect something better when it is local and this place didn’t seem to care during my visit. It truly was a «Meh. I’ve experienced better.»
On the other side of the coin, if you want to meet a friend and have a quiet conversation over drinks and average tasting finger foods than you may have found a nice little watering hole.
