I get it, it’s a Subway. There’s not much originality and you can get the same exact item at every one nationwide. This particular location however had the SLOWEST and rudest workers I’ve ever encountered at a fast food restaurant. I stood there for almost a minute before anyone even acknowledged my presence, then she took her sweet time preparing the sandwich. When it came time to pay the lady got frustrated at the register and was on the verge of dropping the f bomb while swinging her arms around. Probably won’t go back to this location, the one on Euclid is much nicer. As far as food goes, again it’s Subway.

I came here twice for lunch this week as it was very close to the office where I was working. The service was fairly quick and efficient, and they got my order correct both days. The first day I got the ham sandwich, and today I got the meatball sub. I’m usually a big fan of the meatball sub, but today they really slopped on too much of the marinara sauce, and it really overwhelmed the sandwich. I couldn’t even finish it all. It wasn’t bad, just not as good as other times at other Subway stores. Since this store is smack in the heart of the city, it’s got a different set up than any other Subway stores I’ve been to in the county. All the drinks, including the cooler and fountain drinks are behind the counter. So, if you want a refill, you’d have to wait for them to finish serving someone else before you could get one. All the ones I’ve been to in the county have the fountain drinks out in the seating area. Just a minor inconvenience, but I’m sure it has something to do with the area. I imagine they’ve had a problem a time or two with someone using it for a «free» drink. All in all, my experience at this location was ok, but I’ll only come here if I’m in the area.

A very convenient subway in the CWE and one of the few quick serve restaurants in the area that is actually open late. If your in a jam in CWE, good place to stop for a quick bite.

Subway has become my favorite fast food restaurant since I started on my diet. I’m not supposed to have bread so I figure the flatbread wouldn’t be that bad.

I eat here so often that the staff knows my order by heart, lol. The people who work here are really nice, and the food is pretty consistent. It’s cheap, it’s close, and it’s relatively healthy.

Best thing Subway ever did was the $ 5 foot long! I’ll admit I was a fan of Blimpie’s(remember them St. Louis!?) but Subway hits the spot every single time. This location is just convenient, workers usually are having their own conversation but I don’t care as long as you hear my order. Don’t order anything else though! You can get waaay cheaper drinks and chips at the gas station, it’s where Subway makes up for the $ 5 foot longs :)

This Subway’s a fine one, nice, clean, and bright, with very friendly service. It was a go-to spot for me when I had just moved to St. Louis and didn’t have the Unilocal know-how I’m packing today! The thing that stinks, though, is that there’s really no reason to go to Subway when you have one arguably superior option and one definitely superior option nearby: Jimmy John’s and Pickles Deli, respectively. I suppose if there’s a really specific menu item you’re craving, or if you really want a $ 5.00 footlong, Subway’s a good option, though. Only thing that stood out to me all those months ago is that occasionally unusual characters will wander in for reasons of various import. If you’re able to ignore the occasional solicitor or panhandler, though, this shouldn’t turn you off. No reason not to stop in here if you want a predictable sandwich.
