Stopped by this morning to try out the new juice bar and was not disappointed! Unlike some other juice places in the city, Nadoz uses whole fruits and vegetables in their juices instead of bottled apple juice base. I had the Reboost(cabbage, cucumber, apple, lemon and ginger) and it tasted exactly like I’d make at home. Will definitely be back to try more varieties!

Have the croissants suddenly improved, or am I getting less choosy with age? Muffins also seem tastier, though still not as good as mine(sorry I can’t invite the 8392 local Unilocalers over to my place for muffins). Coffee drinks are excellent, and I love the atmosphere.

Being a SLU alum and grad student, I can say I’ve been to Nadoz at least 50 times over the past 8 years – whether just for coffee, breakfast or lunch. I used to LOVE this place but today I went and feel like it’s going downhill. It seems there are a bunch of new, inexperienced cooks that don’t know what they’re doing. I ordered my standard egg scramble and it came out like a tiny, dried out omelette. The consistency and quality is just not the same as it used to be. They cook the food right in the dining area so my clothes and hair always smell like a burnt skillet when I leave. Gross! The coffee, smoothie and drink selection is impressive. However, I’m not a fan of waiting 15 minutes for a latte. The service is friendly but painfully slow. I love the ever-changing selection of baked goods including CAKEBALLS. Did I mention CAKEBALLS? It’s worth a stop if you’re in the Midtown /Grand Center area and are looking for a salad, sandwich or breakfast option. I do think they need to work on some café 101 basics for quality, consistency and speed of service.

Nadoz Café is the perfect place to come for breakfast, lunch, to get work done, have a meeting, or all of the above. It has a great corner location with plenty of accessible parking and easy walk-in access. The interior has plenty of seating, too. I’ve never been here when it’s «busy» so I don’t know how packed it can get. They have such a diverse menu – I did not expect so many wonderful choices! This is clearly a good problem to have. I ended up going with the Turkey Cranberry Panini. It was soooooo good. The«cranberry» is a thick delicious cranberry sauce they spread on top of the turkey. I know there is some word slipping my mind that would better describe this sauce but my description will have to do. I had their iced tea which was good, too. I bring up the iced tea because some places mess up iced tea… I don’t know how but they do. If you are looking for a new, casual place to try near Lindell hit up Nadoz!

For a year in college, I lived in Coronado, the building that Nadoz is located in. It can get really crowded on the weekends, especially for Sunday brunch. I recommended NOT going during key brunch hours or even the weekends at all. Everything I’ve ever had from here has been just great. I especially recommend any and ALL desserts. The cake balls are OMGGOOD. There is a bbq pulled pork sandwich that is delicious. It’s a little on the pricey side but generally worth it. The staff is really friendly and gives great recommendations. They have all sorts of coffee drink options, and several times I’ve just gotten whichever one the staff recommended. Always good! Now that I don’t live over there, I want to try out the Brentwood location which is closer.

d Had California Protein Scramble a fresh scramble of egg whites, turkey, tomato, fresh spinach & cheddar cheese. choice of toast Had the California Protein Scramble that was very good. I asked for them not to use oil and they offered to use a nonstick spray instead(great customer service). The cashier recommended the Zinger juice to me, and it was also very good. Freshly juiced fruits and veges done right infront of you with their big juicer. I will be returning to get another juice, probably try a different one next time.

Don’t get the Quinoa that comes with your paninis, etcetera. OK — Now that we are PAST that… Their paninis are amazing… The Bombay on Naan bread is delicious. Very filling. Also, the atmosphere is nice — the people are friendly and the service is generally pretty quick. Sometimes when you get paninis with chicken in them the chicken turns out terribly dry… These however were not dry at all, yum.

Sometimes your girl wants to go shopping. Sometimes, while shopping, she wants to break for lunch or a refreshing tea. And sometimes, you are lucky enough that the resting location is as great as Nadoz. Located on the Boulevard in Brentwood, this café offers a nice variety of sandwiches, paninis, breakfast items and sweet treats. Additionally, they have wine by the glass and more than a hand full of beers to choose from. The atmosphere is open and conversational, with large windows for natural light and ample outdoor seating if you are interested. The décor is casual but trendy, so you feel welcomed and can sit to read or write for a while before moving on. Next door to the café is the Nadoz wine bar. If you are picking out flatware at C&B into the evening and want to stop off for a flatbread and glass of wine or two, it is available for your enjoyment. Check in on Unilocal to redeem a $ 5 house wine happy hour promotion!

My best friend and I went here at the end of last summer for their Sunday brunch. It was amazing-mimosas, omelet station, pastries, etc. We had a great experience and have been excited to go back. Today was finally that day! We arrived with hopes of another great experience but were sadly disappointed. Their«buffet» has been reduced to one table with a few measly selections(quiche, bacon, and sausage.) The cashier told us they would make scrambled eggs to order, which I’m sure would have been fine, just not what we were looking for. Granted, they’ve cut the price in half(only $ 12.50 instead of the $ 25) but it just wasn’t the same. I’m sure it’s great if you’re in a hurry and not looking for anything special(which is probably the case for many of the SLU kids in the area.) All in all it was a very«ho-hum» experience that we’re not too excited to do again. Don’t waste your time if you’re looking for an «award winning brunch» as their website states.

Love. their. crepes! I’ve been here twice, both times with certificates. I tried their salmon crêpe and also a beef crêpe. The atmosphere is quiet enough for talking and I love sitting by the windows with the sunlight filtering through on my meal. The crepes arrived quickly and they were crispy and savory. I liked my friend’s salmon crêpe more than my beef and mushroom one. This place also has pastries and coffee that attracts regulars so I can see myself coming back here to study!

This place has earned my loyalty! The employees are so friendly and the veggie wrap is totally different now and a frequent lunch choice for me. Only complaint is that the wireless isn’t always super reliable, so be prepared for that. I’m glad I can say I’m a fan of this place now. Give Nadoz a chance!

This review is solely based on the bakery and my birthday cake that I bought from them. I have not ate at the café. I did some research before deciding on Nadoz to do my cake. After doing some price research and calling a few places, I decided this would work best for me. They have several options with pricing. Their cakes range from as little as $ 17 up to $ 36.95. What I got had a cream cheese filling, vanilla cake, and cream cheese frosting on the outside. $ 36.95 gives you a 10 inch round cake that feeds 30 – 35 people. When I went to pick up the cake, it was beyond my expectations! The presence of it was beautifully done. They made what I wanted with some extra cute touches to it. The pastry chef told me she added white chocolate shavings to the outside to add some texture. It certainly added to the character of the cake! When I took it to my birthday dinner, the cake was a hit. Everyone had positive comments about it. Some people even asked if they could take an additional slice home because it was so tasty. Of course I let them without hesitation. There was plenty to go around! I strongly recommend Nadoz for their cakes!

Nadoz used to be one of my favorite places. Mostly when I was a freshman/sophomore at SLU. Now, I am in my 5th and final year and I really just don’t care for the place anymore. It’s very conveniently located a few doors down from where I live and attend classes, so I can’t help but stop in every so often for a snack or drink. Usually I’d get one of their mouth-watering cake balls or a raspberry granola bar… maybe a latte or Italian soda too if I was feeling it. But today I decided to try their new brunch thing. I had been to their Sunday brunch in the past and decided it was too expensive for me. I would always over-indulge to try to get my «money’s worth» and end up feeling sick and nearly puking afterwards. So when I saw a sign advertising their new Sunday brunch… I was excited, and decided to give it a shot. The service was what really took the stars off my review. I walked in and asked the girl behind the counter for my details about their new brunch since I’d just been used to their previous one and didn’t know how the new one worked. She literally just fucking rolled her eyes at me and knocked her head back whenever I asked a question and just responded with a «no» every two seconds. It was really obnoxious and rude. She didn’t even ask me what I wanted to drink and my boyfriend had to go up and get us waters after we both started eating and I realized I hadn’t been asked for a drink order. The food was pretty good except that it was COLD. The buffet had those metal pans with the close-able lids to keep the food warm but it was really cold. The Eggs Benedict are usually my favorite things to get at Nadoz but the English muffins were kind of soggy. I wish the food had been hotter overall. A few guys from the kitchen came to exchange the food when my boyfriend had gone up to get stuff from the buffet so maybe I should have waited??? My favorite item was the blueberry mini muffin things. Those were yummy. The bacon was quite good too but all of the eggs were really cold. I feel like you can still enjoy bacon when it’s cold or room temp though. Not so much with eggs. I didn’t try the potatoes so I can’t comment on those. The oatmeal was also insanely cold, it was repulsive. I poured a lot of candied nuts on top to salvage it. The staff more or less ignored our table even when our plates were empty, they didn’t come to collect them as they did to one or two other tables. Very disappointed with their lack of service. Some of the girls looked half-asleep too… at noon, lol. Overall a good idea, but poorly executed at least on this particular Sunday. I might return because I love the Eggs Benedict so much and those tiny blueberry things, but otherwise… meh. I think they should seriously crack down on their staff and re-train them or something. And make sure the buffet food is HOT! I can’t complain about the price… it was $ 12.95, I think, for the Sunday buffet, and I even got a discount because I used my orange FD card.

Nadoz is one of those places that I should have reviewed last year, two years ago, three years ago, but that I let fall by the wayside. Had I reviewed it prior to today, it would have gotten four stars, possibly five. However, since they’ve changed their menu in recent months, it’s really only a three-star place for me now. Cue #sadface. Pre-2011: Nadoz had a fabulous menu of all kinds of sandwiches, paninis, salads and CREPES. Seriously, the crepes were what made me salivate over having lunch at Nadoz. They had this mushroom, cheese, crème fraîche crêpe that was utter perfection and completely filling, especially because it came with a side. I usually ate about half of my meal and took the rest home. I was über happy for those leftovers the following day. I’m always on the hunt for fabulous crepes in St. Louis, and even though these weren’t really Parisian crepes(Please, for the love of god, someone explain why I can’t get a freaking true Parisian or street crêpe in this town that has a French name!), they were phenomenally delicious. Yes, the Nadoz desserts were fabulous and yes the counter folks were great, but the crepes were what kept pulling me in. Present Day: The revamped menu means that crepes, some paninis and some salads are gone. What’s left are some basic sandwiches, but nothing I get excited over, especially as a vegetarian. I recently had the veggie Mediterranean sandwich, and it was fine. But that’s it; just fine. There still are yummy desserts, though it seems like there are fewer of them. My last hot chocolate tasted more like burnt coffee instead of chocolate, so I probably won’t be getting that again. I’m still grateful to have Nadoz across the street from my office. It’s a nice change of pace than student center fare and tastier. I love how Nadoz uses local ingredients. But I do think that Nadoz’s recent changes mean that I’ll be walking over there a bit less. It’s just«ok» food for me now, and I can get«ok» food at other places for less. Those crepes were winners, dammit.

4-star food + 2-star service divided by 2 is 3 stars. Nadoz has lovely, awesome crepes. Our family at first watched them start to get cold while we waited for one remaining order, my sister’s breakfast panini. Twenty minutes later, it arrived, after she insisted that we begin without her. No sense of urgency or passion in the kitchen, no apologies for the ridiculous wait. There were maybe three other tables in the entire restaurant, none of which had over 4 people sitting at them. There was no stress on the kitchen. Maybe that’s the problem. Not enough stress that you can’t make people wait 20 minutes for a breakfast panini! This is apart from the fact that the barista also failed to deliver 2 out of the 4 coffees we ordered(they made them when we asked what was up). These sorts of mistakes and this kind of attitude says much more about management and ownership than it says about employees. If the food hadn’t been awesome, it would have been 2 stars.

Big bag of average. The staff members were all half asleep at 11:30AM. The ordering process was absolutely painful… What kind of bagels do you have?: Ummm… hold on let me check… What kind of cheese do you have?: Ummm… I’m not sure… I think we have like… normal cheddar… hold on… let me check. I’d put the food in the same category as a Corner Bakery. The bottom line? Don’t let the menu fool you… pretty disappointing.

Went to Nadoz with family for brunch this past Sunday… it was foolish of me to not have called for reservations, because there was quite a wait. The wait could have been less if the hostesses there visited Uncle Bill’s and learned how to take names and arrange seating — our party of six had to wait even longer because they simply seated folks in order of arrival, regardless of the size of the party — a party of two got seated at a HUGE table while we waited for one to open up. This is the only reason, however, that I’m not giving five stars. Because the food is fantastic here. The buffet is full to bursting, as were our tummies by the end of the meal. What was good? Everything I tried! OK, I should learn by now that eggs benedict doesn’t work for a steam table; the yolk was rather solid. Other than that? Let’s see: pretzel roll: yum. Dips & spreads? Yum. Chicken & spinich? Yum. Bacon? Always yum, but it’s hard to go wrong there. Salad bar? Awesome. Dessert buffet? OMG — AMAZING. The free mimosas are tasty, as is the coffee. I really wish the family was willing to sit for an hour and go for a second round of food, in order to feel like I got my money’s worth, but they’re lame like that. At $ 25 a person, I think unlimited free mimosas are called for, but that’s my only quibble with Nadoz. Leave plenty of time to enjoy!

When we arrived at Nadoz Café, the host suggested that it’s my own fault if I left hungry. Knowing that, I sampled a decent variety of food. Their grilled salmon was pretty fantastic(I had three slices) and the made-to-order omelette was generous in size. I wasn’t a fan of the chicken pot pie. The dessert section was pretty nice with a nice selection of fruit dishes as well as more savory dishes. I’d say the highlight of the meal was the fantastic service. Our server was on the ball and constantly providing mimosas and juices. I was brought here for brunch not knowing the cost of the meal. Knowing this, I’d say the meal is not entirely worth the price, but it’s certainly not a terrible choice though if you’re looking to stuff yourself.

I’ve heard a lot of positive things about Nadoz, both the Lindell and the Brentwood/Richmond Heights locations. I don’t really seek out coffee or sandwiches on a regular basis so I hadn’t been to either yet. But I was attending a networking event at the Coronado the other night and wanted to grab a quick meal before people started showing up. I had a mozzarella and tomato sandwich on sourdough. It was good. The bread wasn’t as crusty as I would have liked(it was more like fancy white bread) but the ingredients within were fresh and tasted summery. Nadoz also has free Wifi, which is a huge plus! I was able to eat and get some work done at the same time. And even when they were closing down, the guy behind the counter told me I could stick around awhile longer, which was super nice of him. Overall, the experience was a pleasant one. Good food, friendly service. Again, this is just not the kind of place I’d find myself on a regular basis. But if I was in the area, I’d stop in for lunch.

This is an excellent place for college students and faculty to eat at. Across the street from SLU and in the lobby of the Coronado(home to many SLU students)… Nadoz is a great place to stop in for a sandwich or cup of coffee. I have never been disappointed with something I’ve ordered. Also, if you have some extra money, try their Sunday brunch… it is incredible and well worth the price
