Sally Beauty Supply

All i needed was pure acetone, cotton balls, vaseline, and a nail buffer. Found them all in no time and i was on my way out. This store has everything! From nail polish to fake hair to styling tools… i could get in trouble spending a lot here. I’ll be back!

You know how they say money can’t buy happiness? Well, I don’t think it can buy beauty, either, at least not at Sally Beauty Supply.
You know what money can buy, though? Cancer. Which is what the nail polish I bought here smells like. I hate having to pay too much to get Cancer. Cancer-​in-​a-​bottle is way cheaper here than most other places. Score.
Tiny store. Okay selection. I’ve had good and bad experiences. For all the money I’ve shelled out for expensive hair straighteners here over the years, I say the cheap ones you get at Wal-​mart are just as good.
My biggest gripe about Sally is that their salespeople are SO PUSHY. Like, seriously, they must get paid on commission. I’m not joking. And they have no clue what they are talking about. NO CLUE. They mean well, though.
Thanks to Sally Beauty Supply, I now cut my own bangs. It is both thrilling and kind of pathetic. I’ve never been more proud of anything I’ve done in my entire life. Seriously. If that’s what cutting your bangs feels like, imagine the rush you’d get if you Britney Spears’d your head. (good shudder)

I have been on the hunt for this cherry bark and almond shampoo I used to use waaaay back in high school. I could not find this stuff anywhere to save my life. So, while I was driving home from South Grand one day, I thought, hey, haven’t been in a Sally in eons, maybe they’ll have that shampoo I’ve been dying to find. Of course, they had it… and $ 40 later, I came out with full bags of beauty stuff that I not only do not need but was thrilled to get anyway.
Yea…it’s slightly on the trashy side, but if you are looking for a beauty product of ANY kind, you can find it in this place. Not to mention, this place is super cheap for the quality of the stuff you can get. Huge selection of products and the people that work here are super nice. It’s not quite as good as the Oakville location so if you are further south, you may want to check that one out instead… slightly less trashy… just saying.
