Ashley does an amazing job with my color. I always get so many compliments after a session with her. Her salon is so clean and cute! Her hand made jewelry is such a bonus, there is always a one of a kind pair of earrings I need. She does a great job with my three year olds hair, and personality, as well! We will keep coming back!

Great haircut. Only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I thought $ 40 was a bit pricy for a dry cut without shampoo or style (my hair is curly and all I wanted was a trim). A great job again but I thought by skipping the styling it’d cost less than the full service cuts I’ve gotten in the past. In the future I’ll just have the full service to get my money’s worth.
Added bonus was the cute earrings I bought from the owner.

I go here on the regular now. Ashley is great and easy to work with. She is getting pretty popular and it’s getting harder to just call and get in the same day. I would recommend booking ahead. Cut, color, and eyebrow waxing are all on point. Relaxed, casual, quality work and it didn’t bankrupt me. I’m sold.

As a more traditional lady in her mid 50s, I was a bit hesitant to use a high edge salon. I was so happy about the experience. Great color. Good haircut. Best jewelry selection ever! Wonderful creative environment in good olé vintage Cherokee! Best experience ever. Lots of compiments on the new look!

My hair has never looked this good. I was needing a change, and Ashley took the time to walk me through some new hair styles. I feel ten years younger!

I have lived and traveled throughout the country and globe sampling spas and salons as I go. Never have I experienced such genuine hospitality as I have in Ashley’s chair. I actually had a fun time getting my tresses refreshed. Since I am turning 40 in a matter of days, I wanted something flirty and fun. Despite being her last appointment of the evening, Ashley took her time to discuss it with me and came up with the perfect color scheme. I couldn’t be happier with my hair. In fact I already have my next appointment booked… she is doing a pin up girl glamour style for my 40^th birthday dinner. Oh and those on a budget, Ashley’s prices are very competitive!

Forget those stuffy wanna be hip salons, this is the place! It’s rugged yet artful interior is nothing like I have seen before! As you make your way in the door you are greeted by a tall sweet young lady that ask how you are and gets you a drink. As you get yourself comfortable on one of the retro couches, you take it all in the art, the jewelry, the vintage hair dryers (not used on people)… the shops huge front windows provide a great view of what Cherokee street has to offer. After talking with the owner/​stylist for moment you really start to loose that nervousness you get with a new stylist… Cut and color was amazing… Never have I ever had someone cut my hair to my liking like Ashley… I mean wow! And not only that SHOWED me how to style my hair but also how certain techniques may better the look I want with my hair… Top of line products used as well! I WILL ALWAYS USE THIS SALON!!! Super cheap, super epic color and cut! Was very pleased! I recommend this place for everyone! Super cool staff!

If you’re looking for a great haircut from a stylist that knows what she is doing, you should head straight to the Rockin Redhead. The atmosphere is very cool, the prices are reasonable, and Ashley does high quality work. She paid a lot of attention to detail during my cut and I now have the hair I’ve been wanting (but have been too afraid to get) for years. If you’re looking to make a big change but want it done by someone who knows what she’s doing, you should call Ashley. She’ll have my business from now on!

Ashley is awesome. She is patient with her clients and gives an amazing haircut (I’m a guy, so my standards may be lower, but hear me out!)
Ashley trims beards!!! Yay. I was getting my beard trimmed by a former hairdresser at her home, because she was pretty good w/​the beard thing. But now, I’ve got Ashley! Her shop is more comfortable than a «stranger’s» home and it’s on Cherokee Street in the Antique district.
Ashley and her man did an amazing job transforming her shop into a welcoming venue.
I get a trim every couple weeks, now. Awesome.

My mother-​in-​law just had her hair cut by Ashley and she had the best experience. My MIL moved back to St. Louis two years ago and has spent those two years trying to find someone to do what Ashley finally did. She not only gave her the cut she wanted, but she was patient and took the time to teach her how to style her new cut and educated her on the right products needed to achieve the look. Ashley now has a new loyal customer and someone who will help spread the word about Ashley’s new salon. Highly recommended!
