I was a bridesmaid in my brothers wedding. The bride picked Robins Bridal for our dresses. When I called to make a payment on my dress I was told I was in between sizes. Knowing that it’s easy for me to drop a few pounds I went with the smaller size. The woman on the phone had the balls to tell me to «look at it as motivation to lose weight»! This was 2 months before my own wedding & was very proud of the weight I had already lost. Thank God I wasn’t going through them for my dresses! I will never refer Robins Bridal due to the comment made to me.

The owner was so helpful when I was trying to find a veil. I needed it in a short amount of time and she made it happen! She found a way to get it ordered and sent to me just in time for my wedding. I love the veil it is gorgeous! I had already purchased my dress before visiting this store, but the bride trying on dresses next to me looked beautiful in each dress she tried on because the dresses are stunning! I live out of state and was visiting family and this was on of the best places I have seen. I also like the personal attention and helpful not pushy attitude of the employees.

I had an amazing experience choosing my wedding dress at Robin’s! The consultants were amazing and gave me their undivided attention the entire time. They took everything I wanted into consideration when choosing dresses for me to try on! They made my experience so wonderful! Prices are reasonable and they have a very wide selection! I would highly recommend them to any bride looking for a dress in the St. Louis area!

Robin’s Bridal Mart has a decent selection of dresses ranging from $ 700 or so all the way up to $ 2,500 and more. It seems like the place to go for an older bride(early 30’s) vs. someone getting married in the early 20’s. The sales people seem to be a little older and the dresses are a little more conservative & traditional. If their prices are within your budget and you are not looking for a contemporary dress… I would recommend this place. The sales people do not pressure you and are very accommodating!

This has to be the BEST Bridal shop in St. Louis. I just don’t see how any others could compare to Robin’s exceptional customer service. I am a bridesmaid in a wedding for a friend who lives out of town, so I have been in the shop a few times to shop for bridesmaid dresses, order the dresses and for fittings. Each time, I have been greeted with the utmost respect and kindness by a variety of employees. After becoming pregnant after our dresses had already been ordered, I obviously needed extra material for my dress. The ladies at the shop were nothing but happy for me and willing to bend over backwards to find extra material to match my dress. I never felt as though I were a nuisance or bother, more like one of their nieces who could use any advice or assistance she could get! They have made me feel so special, and I am only one customer. Thank you, thank you. I will continue to recommend your shop!

I didn’t get my dress here, but they had some of the best prices on wedding dresses in town! The selections were large and the consultant was helpful without being pushy. She let me try on dresses on my own and checked on me periodically to see if I needed help. The lines they carry here are very reasonably priced, most under $ 1K. I both agree and disagree with Amanda below. This is not a real«boutique». The selections do lean towards the conservation/traditional styles, BUT they certainly don’t have boutique prices either. I believe this store carried similar brands as Clarice’s in South County(also similar prices). So if you like the brands they carry, might as well check out Clarice’s too to see more selections/styles in the same brands.

I sure wish I’d bought my own wedding dress and bridesmaid’s dresses here! Alas, I didn’t(See ‘I do I do Bridal’ review), though I have used them for a bridesmaid’s dress for a wedding I’m in. I also used Robin’s in 2001 for another bridesmaid’s dress, but that was long before Unilocal and I can’t say I remember my experiences as a 16 year old in her first wedding as a bridesmaid. I can’t say much for their selection because I didn’t actually go to pick the dress out, though all of my service has been top notch! Everytime I’ve gone in for something, I’ve been greeted with a smile and a «can I help you with something?» I went in for measurements and the woman who helped me not only took my measurements, but explained to me while doing it, what measurements were going to be used to find out my size dress. Each of the designers have their own size chart and of course, the style of dress depends on which measurements you need to determine the size. Such as, you wouldn’t use a hip measurement for an A-line dress.(This was the fatal mistake made by the incompetent bridal shop, ‘I do, I do Bridal’) The alterationist at Robin’s works inside the store which is beyond convenient! She’s friendly and seems to really know what she’s doing. She also doesn’t seem to overcharge which is refreshing. The prices of each of the dresses seems very reasonable too. It’s hard to come by a bridesmaid dress below $ 175 these days, and they had quite the selection. I can’t say much for their bridal section, though I do believe I went there once to try some on over a year ago. I remember there were a lot more traditional style dresses, so maybe not everyone’s cup of tea. Overall, though, the service was wonderful and I felt very taken care of. Isn’t that how it’s supposed to be when you’re dealing with brides and bridesmaids all day?
