Missouri Botanical Garden

I have been to the Missouri Botanical Garden for their Chinese Lantern Festival and Garden Glow events — both have blown me away! The Garden Glow is their annual winter/​Christmas light extravaganza which is well worth the money to get in. That said, plan your day accordingly because they only let you in at the TIME your ticket is purchased for. I recommend buying tickets online and then showing up 20 minutes ahead of time (for parking and to get in line; yes, there is still a line for your time slot). We did not do that and just showed up expecting to buy tickets and go in. Unfortunately, the earliest availability they had was 2 hours later, so we had to kill some time before they let us in. It was also very crowded as it is a very popular event. Nevertheless, it is really an awesome experience.
