Just for the record, I’m not lovin it. I was in the drive thru this afternoon. It felt like 20 minutes but looking back maybe it was only 10 or so, but still, there were only several cars in front of me. The line should have moved substantially faster. That’s not the serious problem though. They servied me RAW nuggets! See the picture I posted. How the hell does that happen? I found out the hard way that their nuggets are not cooked before sent to their restaurants. I took one bite and spit it out and threw them all away. I go to McDonalds only a couple times a year and this has to be my experience? Bleh. I then called their phone FIVE times and they chose to not answer. Awesome. So I called their HQ after Googling the number and reported the incident and requested someone contact me. We’ll see what happens, but I’m really not happy that they put my health at risk. NOT cool.

Customer service is not the best you must go in the day time during business hours if you want nice and friendly staff. I work nights and occasionally stop there after work the drive thru is always long and staff is not pleasant or seem like they don’t want to be there. Also they have a terrible odor problem that smells like there might be a pluming issue every time I come at night.

This location is not 24 hours. If you go after midnight they will tell you that«systems down.» The shitty service they give at breakfast is at least service.

Only review I’ve ever written. Slowest, worst, rudest fast food«restaurant» I’ve ever been too. They don’t say, «Hi, thank you, is that all». Avoid whenever possible.

Do not go here if you want quick food. It took over 18 minutes for two happy meals. Unbelievable. Inefficiency galore here. Wonder if McDonald’s corporate is aware of this. Ugh.

Ok. it’s McDonalds. i get it. And i don’t even eat fast food often. at least when i do, i pick something a little better such as Lions Choice. But everyone needs some McD at some point. I’ve been into several McDonalds and this is by far(seriously, by far) THEWORSTLOCATION. Where do i even start? First, it’s dirty. The eating area, parking lot, tables. everything is dirty. A friend of mine who briefly worked at this McD’s told me that employees would drop food on the floor, pick it up, and continue to pack it in for your order. What?! Second, horrible service. Takes entirely too long to get your meal. The employees have clearly never worked in a real restaurant, as they show no sense of urgency when they are busy. If you think you can avoid the never-ending, sluggish drive-thru line by ordering inside, don’t hold your breath. I’ve tried this. Also, for your own safety, keep your windows up and doors locked while in the line for the drive-thru. On more than one occasion i’ve been walked up on and asked for money, or a ride, even having someone try and open my back door. To the person that owns this location: DOBETTER. ITS A FASTFOODCHAINFORGODSSAKE.

The line for the drive through moved so quickly, we couldn’t even watch a whole music video! The young lady taking orders informed me of a deal that I was not aware of which gave me an extra sandwich for the same amount of money. This was terrific. The second young lady handing out the food was equally nice. All the food was fresh and exactly as ordered. Can’t ask for anything more! Nailed it!

These people are rude and slow. I’ve called to complain to the manager who could care less. Burn or piss on your money, but for god’s sake, don’t eat here…

That was the worst mcdonalds experience I have ever had. If anything would motivate you to stay in school so you don’t wind up working here this would do it. I occasionally get breakfast and when I do it’s the bacon egg and cheese bagel with the caramel mocha — not only did I get the same thing the other day from a different McDonald’s and it was exactly a dollar less but it was WAY better service! I get to the window and the girl goes«did you have a sprite?» I’m like no? She goes«what did you have?» And I told her — she goes and gets my drink and says have a nice day. I’m like umm I also had food? She goes«oh what did you have?» Why on earth is she this clueless?! This place is a disgrace to the McDonalds name! Awful!

We stopped here for a break during our travels. The ladies at the front counter were very pleasant to interact with. Our order took a reasonable amount of time to get ready, and the ladies gave us two small kids cups instead of one medium cup. I thought that was very thoughtful of them. We had a nice dinner here and were on our way with a smile on all of our faces.

That thread about fat chicks made me hungry. Not to be discouraged by the fact that the«shake machine was down» at the first McDonald’s I tried, and not at all phased by red light camera flashes firing for my benefit, I scooted on over to St. Louis’ worst McDonald’s. Scratch that. EARTH’S worst McDonald’s. It is 10PM. It is 90 degrees. It is St. Louis, Missouri. And let me guess. Your shake machine is down, too! Luckily, I have a McDonald’s-English translation dictionary and have decoded the common phrase«our shake machine is down» for the linguistics-impaired of Unilocal. Our shake machine is down = –Our shake machine is not down, but we are morons and ran out of whatever it is that goes into a McDonald’s shake. or –Our shake machine is not down, but we are morons and ran out of whatever packaging a McDonald’s shake requires. or –Our shake machine is not down, but we are lazy pieces of shit and do not feel like cleaning the shake machine after making a milkshake. or –Our shake machine is down, because we are lazy pieces of shit and someone found out we just didn’t want to clean the machine, so we broke it. or Our shake machine is not down, but we assume that it is because it broke one time, and we are too lazy to go check to see if it is working right now. or Our shake machine is not down, but we assume that we ran out of ingredients/cups because we did one time, and we are too lazy to go check to see if we are currently out of said ingredients/cups. Next time I will demand to see said defective shake machine. Which also happens to be the machine responsible for McFlurries, assuring that frozen treats are not a part of my pathetic evening.

While I don’t eat fast food often I do occasionally get a craving for terrible but tasty fries. I have also taken ppl here late night after a night at the bars. They are not friendly, are always out of something we are ordering, stop serving night food at random times, and only accept cash at some unknown time of day. Shady shady…

Worst McDonald’s ever! I’ll be the first to admit that go to McDonald’s entirely too much, but I’ve actually always liked their food. Perhaps it takes me back to birthday parties in the play area as a wee pup or my New Music Tuesday/McDonald’s runs of my teenage years. Nonetheless, I still get the urge for their French fries and burgers on occasion. Usually, I don’t have a problem at any location. If there’s one thing that I’m used to when dining here, it’s quick service. Not necessarily friendly but quick. However, I recently started patronizing the S. Jefferson location instead of S. Broadway, and I’ve regretted it almost every time. The parking lot is a nightmare. It’s narrow. If you pull through the lot at the wrong angle, you might get stuck dangling in moving traffic. If you go to the next entrace, you face having people whip through the first entrance and cut in front of you. Today I went inside, my first time. All that I wanted was a couple of plain McChickens. As I walked to the counter, there was four young ladies standing around, none of them concerned with serving me. A manager walked by them and casually mentioned that I needed help. No one moved. The manager stopped in her tracks and told someone to take my order. They looked at me; I glared at them. One finally came over and very haphazardly gave me service. It might be time to go back to S. Broadway.

as an avid fan of fast food, I have been to many of the different restaurants and chains the city has to offer, Mcdonald’s has been in my eating habits for more years than I care to say. While each location is run differently, this location is also run badly. the service is slow, the employees rude, and consistently the food is bad. on many occasions I have stated I wasn’t going to return. but only do because of hoping it getting better, but it never does. I think this location needs to do us all a favor and close. Do yourself a favor, don’t use this location, you will only leave aggravated.

Not my favorite Mickey Ds, but it’s close by and sometimes that’s the most important thing. Food quality is hit and miss. Service is spotty at best. A few times, they couldn’t take a credit card. It’s ok in a pinch. Oh, and it’s open 24 hrs.

One star because of the two ladies with pleasant attitudes at midnight this past weekend. This place is less than a mile from my home, but at this point, I’m willing to travel to a different McDonald’s or a different spot for my late night crave… downtown. It took me over 30 minutes to get fish and fries. My friend made it from midtown St. Louis to Fairview Heights, drove through Taco Bell and was done eating before I got my food. The owner needs to spent a little cash and hire another person for the late nights on the weekends. I went back… one cash register open on a Saturday morning?! Ridiculous!!!

Generally if I see someone review a super chain on Unilocal,it seems pointless. Aren’t they all the same? For the most part, yes, they are. The menu items are made to be homogeneous and are generally not healthy. What differentiates some chain locations from the others is the service. I’ve frequented the McDonald’s on Jefferson Ave(near 44) for several years now and I consistently get terrible service. Obviously it’s a ghetto Mickey D’s and I should know better, but there aren’t a ton of fast food options in Benton Park. Especially in the evening. And I’ll be honest — I like cheeseburgers and fries. A lot. Generally speaking, they don’t screw up the burger part at this location so bad. It’s just everything else that just plain sucks. The handful of times that I have ordered nuggets, either the person behind the window fails to ask if you want sauce or when I do ask for it, they tell me they’re out of it. Without even looking first. Really? Do I need to get out of my car and come look for myself? Or sometimes, I’ve pulled up to the Drive Thru and no one takes my order. No one. The lights are on, they’re supposedly open, just the person who’s on drive thru duty that night just doesn’t want to do his/her job. Am I sad that I won’t be living near a McDonald’s anymore? Sort of. Will I miss this McDonald’s? Not at all!
