Very clean deli with very nice people working. We had pastrami n roast beef on cheese bread n both were above excellent. The large they claim is 7 inches but definitely more like foot long. Very impressed w experience and will be back.

Great food. Friendly family-owned establishment. Sandwiches, soup, sides, and BBQ are all excellent. I highly recommend this spot to all my friends in South County. My favorite place for sandwiches.

I have been to JP’s several times, the last time being fall 2012. Service is always friendly. Some advice, always order the BBQ before lunch time –they always sell out. I guess I am a BBQ snob because I find the pork steaks to be average. The sauce is a bit thin for my taste and the meat doesn’t fall off the bone. You will need a knife. The only thing I find disappointing are the sides. The potato salad and slaw taste store bought. Probably my favorite thing on the menu is the potato soup. It is thick, chunky, creamy, and bacony! My sensitive stomach cannot tolerate all of the black pepper, yet I order the soup every time. I also love their sandwiches. The bread tastes fresh and the toppings have a nice balance.

My family and I have been here numerous times. We love everything! This is nothing fancy and that’s what we like — homemade, delicious and at a reasonable price. Their soups, sandwiches and salads are excellent. I have tried numerous things and never been disappointed!

We stopped in for a quick dinner the other night. JP’s is a simple small neighborhood place that you would expect to put out some decent fresh-made sandwiches and they didn’t disappoint. The lady working the counter was friendly, although we wondered why, with no customers, the tables couldn’t have been wiped down. We tried a turkey sandwich, a chicken salad wrap and garlic cheese bread. It was all pretty much like home-made except I wouldn’t put near that much garlic on the cheese bread. The others were freshly made and pretty good. They noted thier chicken salad was a specialty and it was fine, but nothing special The prices were reasonable. It’s worth checking out if you live or work in the area. It’s a notch up from Subway, anyway.

1st trip to neighborhood deli. Owners gave us samples of potato & chicken tortilla soup. Both delicious!!! Can’t beat their BBQ they serve on Thurs. & Saturdays. Ordered pork steak + 2 sides for $ 5.99. Husband got the pastrami sandwich and he said it was delicious. My husband and I agree their mustard potato salad was great! They also have fresh horseradish & stuffed black olives. They have a great menu We will be returning.
