Imo’s Pizza

My first Imo’s pizza was this past summer in July near the central west end area. It was delicious! The ingredients were fresh, the crust was exactly what it should be (St. Louis style), and of course, the pizza was cut into squares. Everything was exactly as expected!
In contrast, this location is terrible. The ingredients are not fresh. The cheese looked abnormally manufactured and quite orange. I ordered pepperoni, but there were so few pepperoni slices that I thought I’d made a mistake and ordered cheese pizza. I also ordered the lunch special (~$ 8), and the salad looked so bad I didn’t eat it. It was your typical, cheap, iceberg lettuce salad. Even the grocery store sells a better salad!
I came to this location because it’s not far from the car rental locations, about 8min. My 10″ pizza and salad took less than 10 minutes, but that’s the only good thing. Take the time to find another St. Louis’ style pizza place because this place is not it!

I live less than ½ mile from the store and my pizzas always take over an hour to get here. they are luke warm to cold by the time they get here, and I always order online. I have not ordered from there for some time, and won’t be anytime soon.

Worst Imo’s EVER!!! This is my home delivery and I’ll stick with the one on Clarkson for lunch :(Delivered Ice Cold, ordered well done and extra cheese — it was neither. Cheese GB wasn’t wrapped ans was stuck to the paper bag. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Unless you like irresponsible unsanitary, rude high school frat boys/​girls cooking your food then at all cost avoid this place. I have tried a few (4) times over the last five years to order pizza from this establishment and at best it has been a huge disappointment. My last call in for delivery was piss poor customer service. After waiting for my food for over 1hr I finally received it… my pizza warm, my hot wings was skimpy and luke warm… after opening one of my pizza’s and discovering it was incorrectly prepared… I called into the store and spoke with someone who after listening to me explain to him my order was wrong, I was put on hold. When he finally returned it was to tell me they will «get me a new pizza out» when they can. Excuse me, I just waited and paid for my food and the best you can do is get it to me when you can. I eventually had to put on cloths and drive to the $hithole and get a refund. Which I witnessed no one wearing gloves, they were watching TV, and just having a great time all while screwing up the orders of paying customers. I will not ever again patronize this business, also I will be sure to pass the word on to any potential customers. The Service is crap, the food is crap and the employees are worthless.

Called to order pizza at 11:15p guy was very distracted that took my order. I asked if they delivered to the airport Hilton. His response was for me to hang up and call from the hotel phone… Kinda rude but ok I get it. I called back from the hotel phone, placed my order… I was told it would take 45m — 1hour. At the end of the convo i had asked the clerk if he needed my cell phone number or room number or anything, becuase he never asked for it. He replied yes, I gave the hotel number and room number. (why didn’t you ask? why did i have to prompt that info) At 12:15 I called to check the status, was told the driver just left and would be on the way. Called at 1:30a to check status again, I was told they came to the hotel, called the hotel room and no one answered. None of the 3 phones In the room rang (I even checked the ringers… They were all on and ringing loudly) Horrible service. My guess is the guy taking my room number didn’t right down the info correctly. He never even got my name. I went to bed furious and starving. We will see if my cc gets credited because it was surely charged.

I mean, I guess this is classic STL pizza? Kind of tasted like those $ 1 Tostino’s ones that are always on sale at Von’s or Ralph’s…Just sayin…

Great service here. I’ve lived in the area for years and Imos is def one of my favs. Normally quick delivery and polite employees. Also room to sit down and eat at the store. An amazing selection. You would think Imos only sells pizzas but there are sandwiches, pastas, salads, appetizers, desserts, etc. Def check it out if you get a chance.

Now, it’s been a couple days, so my memory may be a bit fuzzy. But I’m pretty sure these guys delivered my pizza before I called in the order.
Pizza tasted like, well, St. Louis pizza.
But damn these guys were fast.
Girl on the phone was rather rude, but the delivery driver’s time machine completely made up for that.
