Walk in old establishment with classic feel of a European eatery. Staff very friendly. SERVICEDOGFRIENDLY; came with my service dog didn’t say anything and seated us graciously. I got the cheese manicotti 9.95 for 2 tubes filled… not alot for price. I don’t usually eat a lot in one sitting and this easy was edible for my one sitting so while it filled me up, I’m use to left overs for later. It had an amazing cheese filling the sauce was good but not unique in any form. The people however are so kind and professional. I do like this place and if was staying in Town and lived near would visit to try more.

Think old school pizzeria. Great pizza, questionable location, great servers. I love old school pizza places. Awesome pie. Kind of a dive. Great place for lunch near the airport.

Been going here many years. I always just get pizza and salad. Both are very good. Not my favorite place but a lot better than the majority of local places.

Not at all fancy, in a strip mall. But the pizza is good quality, and they have lots of locals who obviously like it too.

This place always brings back a lot of memories for me as I used to come in here with my family, going back to the 80s. The place hasn’t changed much, and neither has the food! And that’s good. I still come in here every once in a blue moon, but I was in here recently. The pizza is very awesome. I’m not even sure what it is that makes it stand out from the others. Well, I’ll start with saying its almost identical to St. Louis style pizza! The cheese is just plain gooey and the topping seem to mingle very well. Plus the hard, burnt, thin crust blends greatly with it. Keep in mind that burnt crust doesn’t usually sit well with me if the pizza is bad. But the rest of the pizza goes perfect with it, if you know what I mean! Highly recommended!

Came in during lunch, it was pretty empty. The table I got sat at was really wobbly and the atmosphere is old and dark, looks outdated. Ordered mushroom as appetizer and had clam and shrimp pasta. Italian house salad was really good. Mushrooms were breaded and came out overcooked, very hard. Once is opened them up, realized this were not fresh but premade, frozen mushrooms. Came with a red sauce that was bland and sour. Not impressed with appetizer. Pasta came out and you could barely see any meat on it. The shrimp were tiny salad shrimp, not fresh food. The clams were small chunks of clam you would find in canned soup. The white sauce was very bland, almost soupy. I’ve come here before for the pizza and it was good, so I thought I’d give the food a try, but I could’ve made something better at home. Disappointed. Priced reasonably low, but I would gladly pay more for Bette quality food. Has a mom and pop feel to it, expected more from a place like this.

Not sure what the negative reviews are about, if you want bad pizza go to Dominoes or Pizza Hut. This place does a pepperoni pie just right. No fancy overpriced pizza just delicious amazing crust, sauce, and a generous helping of cheese. Great NY style goodness!

If you didn’t know Erio’s existed you may very well drive right past without a thought. That would be very unfortunate for your palate! Erio’s has some of the best authentic pizza and pasta in St. Louis(even though they aren’t located on The Hill). The lunch special of a small personal pizza and a half salad is perfect! While the place strikes you as a bit divey when you first walk in, don’t judge the book! Between the staff that treats you like family and the awesome food, you can’t go wrong. The only thing holding me back from giving Erio’s five stars is that once in a while the crust edges get really hard as the pizza cools.

What this place lacks in atmosphere, it more than makes up in its pizza quality. I am a little biased, growing up around the area and coming here as I grew up, but they know what they’re doing when it comes to pizza. I prefer the thicker, NY style crust over the thin, heaped high with sausage and mozzarella. It’s in a strip mall, right by the airport so the location is a little weird. But I have never had less than great service. $ 2.75 beers Pros: Inexpensive, great pizza, stellar service Cons: atmosphere is a bit bland

The only reason I have been here twice is because a couple good friends of mine have history with this place. One of which has been going here since who knows when and the other jumped on the bandwagon when she met him. The first time I went here, I was about to drop my bf at the airport and we decided to give this place a try. I have to say it’s not amazing, but not terrible. The pizza is A-OK, but there is obviously better pizza in St Louis if you are further from the airport. I will say the pizza is better than IMOs, but I guess that isn’t saying much. I don’t think we’ll be back anytime soon. The place certainly looks like it is stuck in the 70s, and hasn’t made a single change. It’s pretty hilarious. That’s why I feel a little dirty when i finish eating here. If you are staying near the airport and need a quick bite, this is a decent pizza option.

Good food, great house dressing. The fresh ground sausage is worth the trip by itself. The staff is all family members and it shows. Very homey atmosphere. The décor is dated, but I think thats part of the charm.

I come back here every once in a while for the nostalgia. I graduated from UMSL and spent a number of nights enjoying this pizza place just down the street from the university. Erio’s still makes the same high quality pie they did years ago. My wife and i enjoyed a Supreme, which they called something else, along with a beer before a flight. Oddly, even though the airport is just a mile away, you never hear the jets. The service was warm and friendly and we received the pizza without too much waiting. The only complaint I could have is the décor. It hasn’t changed in 10 years and looks to be a few decades older than that. A little sprucing up would be welcome. Overall, Erio’s is a nice place to get no nonsense pizza near the airport. The prices are fair and the service is good too. They also have enough room to bring a larger group.

This place stinks — bad service and weak pizza. «Step above Pizza Hut» some one said? A small step perhaps but you’re still in the basement. Find another place and leave this one to the old timers who don’t better.

Really good. I’m glad we went. The décor inside is old but it is one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve ever seen. Pizza was crisp and fresh. Not too greesey. Just right. Don’t let the façade or décor fool you. Go and have great service and a good pie. Hit the spot before we headed to the airport.

I have to say I was wary coming here, I have bad luck with neighborhood type family restaurants in that the food is usually pretty bad. Walking in Erio’s looks like any other family italian joint but I was willing to give it a fair shake. I must admit I was surprised at quality of the pizza, it was very good. Nothing special here, just tasty family style pizza that is quite satisfying. Everything seemed very nice, I went with some people that have been regulars for years so I assume the food is reliably good.

I’ve eaten here and at least ordered a pizza to go a couple of times over the last few weeks. I was very pleased each time with the food and service. The pizza was really good. Last time there, I had bacon pizza. Can’t go wrong with bacon! The waitress we had was very attentive and I’m pretty sure a Professor of Mathematics. My group was that typical annoying group that needed the check all sorts of algorithmic ways. This woman put a pencil to paper, worked out some higher level computations and had our bill broken down perfectly in the blink of an eye. Very impressed!(Sorry my group was so needy) :-)

I came here with a group of people from work for a lunch and while the looks of the place had me perplexed by the choice of locale, I tried reassuring myself that the food must be to-die-for if my colleagues were bringing us all here. Upon sitting down and looking around I started feeling worried due to the dark interior, dirty yellowed curtains on the windows, the sticky table top and ceiling tiles with water damage. If could have run out of there, I would have. My mind kept saying«This is one Sloth short of The Fratelli’s hideout from Goonies…» Looking at the menu and the super cheap prices really made me question this place even more. Safely going with the lasagna, or so I thought, I was served a small salad first — which was just watery bagged salad mix. And when the small silver dish of lasagna finally came to the table, I was sad when I took a bite… It was a baked dish of bland store-bought sauce with some chunks of Italian sausage, sparse noodles and some cheese on top. It was like a sauce soup. Disgusting. And with a soda the entire bill was less than $ 6. Maybe I’m over-exaggerating a little here, but that’s up to interpretation. The bottom line is: cheap prices, bad food, no reason to come here whatsoever.

Erio’s Italian Restaurant is a warm and neighborly place with great food and a friendly staff. My job requires frequent visits to the St. Louis area and I always make time to visit Erio’s. It is conveniently located close to the airport and within walking distance from many local hotels. The menu contains all of you favorite italian items including great New York style pizza. I also enjoy their chicken parmesan and toasted cheese ravioli. When it comes to the bill the prices are very fair. Give it a try and I think you will agree. Erio’s is a local winner. One note of interest. I believe they are closed on Mondays.

I’d say that this place is a step above Pizza Hut with a friendlier atmosphere. Everything is just… decent. Service… food… it’s friendly enough… it’s good enough… It isn’t really a place to get out of the way for, nor do I think it’s some place one should stop by at if they just happen to be in the area. Regardless, it’s on the list for a decent lunch spot.
