This place is going downhill fast. The food was decent, however the staff was slow, and inattentive.

Took my kids there for the scary face pancakes. I inquired about getting a sandwich with grilled chicken instead of fried… i was told they had to use fajita chicken that was pre sliced. I after to that and we waited… and waited… there was maybe 4 other tables in the place and 2 of which came in after us… it was almost 30 minutes when i finally asked about our food as the kids were getting hungry and antsy… after asking my food appeared. The chicken looked mangled and was cold as was the cheese under it. I sent it back and was not only uninterested in getting it back or another one. The manner came out and tried to tell me the sandwiches they serve are all cold… i asked her how that was if they cook the chicken? She offered to warm it up… which i can only assume meant microwave so i declined… she comped my kids sodas… their pancakes were free… i tipped my server well as she was the only decent thing about the entire experience. Won’t be back…

Ordered eggs Benedict… Very disappointed!!! It is hard boiled egg on ham and muffin with very little hollandaise sauce. Not happy at all! Not worth the $ 10 I am paying for it! I can make better at home!

Gotten really bad. Always slow service and often mediocre food now. This morning there was no one to greet us or seat us and only one waitress running around yelling at the staff in the back that she needed help. When things have gotten that unprofessional, it’s a bad sign of times to come, thus we made a run for it. Luckily we discovered an awesome alternative called First Watch. Converted!

The only thing good was the waitress, Haley. Restaurant is tiny and cramped, for it being new it’s very dirty and shitty. The food took forever, but thankfully Haley kept coming back to tell us where our order was and to check on us. I went to the bathroom just to wash my hands and they were out of paper towels. An IHOP worker came out of the stall and said she would let them know paper towels are needed, didn’t even wash her hands!!! WEWILLNEVERRETURN!

Yikes, I should have read these reviews before visiting. I went on a Saturday morning at 10am so it was packed. We didn’t get seated for 30 minutes. It took another 15 minutes for a waitress to acknowledge us. I hadn’t had my coffee yet and the irritability was setting in. We ordered and it took at LEAST another 30 minutes to get our food. When it did come, the waitress said they were waiting on my wheat toast. Umm… as in… toast? Eggs were bland and there was no salt & pep on the table! Our waitress came back once to bring the check and seemed bothered when my boyfriend asked for a refill. Sigh… should’ve gone to Waffle House!

Gave this place 2 chances, and that’s it. Service is absolutely horrible. 10 minutes waiting for a table when no one was there — then another 10 to 15 before the waitress came to the table. That’s it — never going back. Management needs to get a grip on this place.

Husband and I went on a Sunday afternoon around 3PM. We were one of about four tables in the entire restaurant that had customers. Ordered an omelette and a country fried steak. 20 minutes later the waitress came back and said that the food still wasn’t ready and that the cooks were ignoring her? So the manager was going to go back there and see what was going on. From that point we were pretty much ignored until we had to ask another waitress to get us refills on coffee. ANOTHER20 minutes later my husband went to the counter to complain but right then our food came out. It was cold and must had been sitting there awhile because the cheese on my omelet had rubberized! And all the pancakes were cold and hard because the bottoms were burnt. ITWASTHEWORSTIHOPMEAL I’VEEVERHAD! We asked to speak with manager who had some lame excuse about the ticket being put in the wrong place and took off the cheaper of our two dishes. Honestly, after waiting 40 minutes for cold and bad food — the whole meal should have been free! We probably won’t be going back anytime period…

Long wait on Halloween. Manager was total twit and very rude and unhelpful. Server was great. Would I go back. Fries were a handful for two something. Omelette was dry… Stay away from here as manager is always on break.

Picture it: Sunday morning, everyone getting outta church everyone looking for some grub gonna be busy… common sense. came here yesterday before heading to Kimmswick for a quick bite to eat. DH orders crepes – «sorry sir, we are out of crepes» WHAT? its a SUNDAY morning, busy as hell, and you are OUT of crepes? «The truck came yesterday and forgot to bring some.» W.T.F. My sweet little son orders the scary face pancakes. And i order something generic and hard to mess up. Our food comes out and gets to the table. «Im sorry sweetheart, but we are out of oreos» WHAT??? Im sure EVERY kid is ordering scary face pancakes and you dont have oreos for the eyes??? I guess the truck forgot those too! Man – what is going on IHOP??? Not to mention, DH hashbrowns came like 5 min after we had our food– I dont understand how a place like IHOP can just– ugh! I cant even go on.

The service was really slow it took 45mins for us to get our food and we basically ordered as soon as we sat down and there was no one really in the restaurant the server told us they were short on cooks and that the managers were making the food. Once the food came out everything was fine.

Incredibly slow! Waited 15 minutes for the waitress to acknowledge us and take our order. The waitress was nice, when she came around. 45 minutes later, we finally received our food. The food was ok at best. ***Forgot to mention, they took $ 5 off of our bill for the inconvenience.***

This was the worst IHOP meal I have ever eaten. Service was very poor and dry. We ordered 6 different egg and bacon dinners and side orders of crepes, $ 76.46!!! I could not believe what we just paid for cold food and terrible service. We will never go back to this IHOP again.

It’s painfully SLOW even tho we went middle of the week at dinner and they were NOT busy… But it was good… And our waitress was awesome! Been to many other restaurants for much less time and she managed to refill my tea THREE times! She was on it!

They made me an absolutely perfect order of Eggs Benedict(see photo) and that is something I get so rarely that I’m giving them 5 stars today. Honestly, the chef could be in the parking lot slashing my tires right now and I wouldn’t care… it is just that rare that I get an order of this dish cooked exactly the way I like. How rare is it??? It is so rare that my wife makes fun of me every time I order it because she KNOWS that I will be disappointed. Also, a big thanks to my waitress(Emily) for teaching me a new term that I will now use whenever I order this dish: «poached hard»

As a typical IHOP, this contains your standard selection of items. The service was very expedient. The restaurant was a bit smaller, but still was very clean. The management also pointed out that I can call in a review and get a free side of shortstacks on my next visit.

When this Ihop first opened it was pretty good. Punctual, friendly staff and good food. Since our last five visits though(I know.. .my boyfriend keeps trying in case they get their act together?) my partner and I have been disappointed. Slow service EVEN when they’re not busy. That just tells me that the waitstaff is lazy. I’m a patient person but one night our server didn’t give us the check until an hour after we finished our food. If not slow, the staff is kind of stand-offish. :/I don’t expect social butterflies to serve my food but things get awkward when you avoid me or hover for half a minute over me as I’m eating. Onto the food. One visit they gave us the wrong order. The next visit my boyfriend’s hash browns were not cooked. Basically raw potato. I don’t like bashing places and generally try to put something positive in my critiques but this place is so far gone on food and service it’s hard. The only redeeming feature of this location is that it’s clean. At least I’ve talked it over with my boyfriend about not going here anymore. I understand he likes Ihop but I feel if we’re going to spend money to eat I want a good experience.
