Great Clips

I normally wait to get my hair cut by a friend when I go home on college breaks but on occasion have used this salon when in dire need of a cut. The staff have always been friendly, I have never experienced a long wait and have my hair cut preferences on file so I never have to explain what I want. I almost always use my phone while in the chair so the stylist never really makes an effort to engage in small talk (which I don’t mind). My only complaint is that at a rate of $ 15 for a 15 – 20 minute basic trim, I don’t like feeling pressured to leave a tip when signing my receipt. I always do tip because the stylist will stand behind the counter and watch me sign. For a chain salon, it’s not the worst but certainly not my first choice when I need a clean cut or a new style. It’s simply convenient.

Tonight we had the worst hair cut experience ever. If i could give less stars I would. I have never seen a worse attitude from anyone. Literally felt like we were such a huge inconvenience. To make matters worse, an elderly lady came in towards the end of my haircut, as the lady came in, the stylist literally rolled her eyes. After checking the lady in she went on to tell her it would b 20mins. Knowing she was almost done with me & she was next in line. I almost couldn’t stand it & left with my hair not fully complete. She said about 2 sentence to me during my 12min haircut. One was how i was slouching and the other asking how it looked. No mirror for the back. The only positive was the haircut was half decent, but no haircut would have been good enough to undo what she caused to me, my partner (who got his hair cut by same person) or the lady who she rolled her eyes at.
