Finally found a place that’s inexpensive and does a great job! Dee cut my hair just the way I wanted and it turned out even better than I ever expected. Will definitely be back to this location!

Great Clips is hit or miss because you never know who is going to be cutting your hair and what their skill level is. This location seems to have really great people though and I have rarely been disappointed. Had my hair cut this weekend by ‘Angie’ and she did an amazing job. Call ahead and make sure she is there before you stop in.
Load up a gift card in November for the haircuts you will need all year and save yourself a lot of money as haircuts will then be just $ 9.99 each. Use the money you save as a tip for your stylist and let her/​him know that you want them to stay around.

Great clips is probably your best bet in St. Louis for getting a decent haircut at a good price ($ 15 plus tip). However, every so often you’ll end up with only one side burn trimmed, or the hair on the top of your head will end up shorter than the hair on the sides of your head (a realization I made after getting back from Great Clips just now). The turnover of employees also seems rather high, so it’s often hard to keep seeing the same stylist; it’s more of a factory approach to the haircut.
Oh well, like I said, this is still probably the best you’ll find in St. Louis.

I’ve been coming to this location for years, their stores are clean and up to date. The staff are friendly and do a great job with my hair. I’ve been to other locations in Saint Charles, Clayton and Creve Coeur. If $ 15 is too much there are usually coupons around and they have a reload able card with $ 10 haircuts!

Truly the best Great Clips in St. Louis. A very busy and popular place due to the great location and quickness of the staff. However, as a dedicated stylist/​manager for the company for 20 years, i’ve found that loyalty and respect is not always a mutual relationship. The bottom line here is customer numbers and product sales. Quality is of little concern for this corporate model. Myself, Dee, & Shawn can now be found at Be Salon in Clayton.
