In the grand design of art galleries here in STL you have the big non-profits, like CAM and SLAM, the slick for profit gallery’s, the crusty hipster galleries often found on Cherokee street and then, places like this. Its a small, well lit gallery that shows a range of art, you never now what you’ll find on the wall, but it’s always interesting. Parking is on the street, but at night, the area seems a bit sketchy so as they say in New Orleans, «park in front or take a cab».

If you haven’t been to Good Citizen yet you should definitely stop by. The space is small but nicely arranged and I have never been disappointed by the art chosen for a show. I believe that Good Citizen has broken some ground in Saint Louis with the type of work that they show. This gallery has quickley become a valuable part of the Saint Louis art scene.
