Golden Nails

We have been coming to this place off and on for a few years because the price was right and they were clean. We will not go again because the last time we were there, my adult daughter in attendance also, we were watching the television and I said aloud how I liked the show that was on the tv at that time. We were in the process of sitting in the chairs, no one else was present outside of the staff, the owner changed the tv channel to something else and proceeded to walk off to the back. Knowing we were drying and they allowed us to stay in the chairs, she knowingly turned off the channel and walked away. That was rude.
On the same visit there was much verbal interchange between the 2 staff members working on us and it was in their native Asian language. That was rude and should never take place directly in front of the customer.
Another event that occurred but we know is just a mistake and we all make mistakes, is that when she cut my daughter’s toenail she clipped quite a bit of skin and there was blatant bleeding that caused pain for my adult daughter.
Now you’d think after doing that that they would avoid upsetting us any further, ie: speaking lengthy in front of us in their native tongue, and turning the tv channel knowing we were enjoying that then walking away and did not even watch the channel herself.

I will not be back. I paid $ 30.00 for a shellac manicure ($ 25.00, plus a $ 5.00 tip), and they began chipping THE VERY NEXT DAY! Aside from that, the technician did a very sloppy job and got polish all over my cuticles.
From now on, I’ll be driving the 20 extra minutes to get my manicure at my old salon.
