Love to find accessories and gifts here… for myself! Ha. I actually do buy gifts here for my girlfriends, great bags, scarves, fun jewelry and gifts to myself of cute and unique clothes! Always a huge variety which is a blessing these days and helpful staff, truly unusual, but grateful!

As someone who loves good merchandising and had worked at Anthropologie for years Forever21 isn’t my cup of tea… This particular location(I am a retail manager of another store — not Anthro, a door away– and have to wear black tops so that’s the only time I come in here) is the worst. Clothes strewn everywhere. A water bottle dangling from a clothing rack. The same top is located multiple places(different sizes each place). Clothing racks so entirely stuffed you can’t pull out a hanger without pulling out those on either side. The people working seem oblivious to the chaos. Line of twenty some people and only one checkout person… In fact typing this whole thing while in line. Also the whole return policy tells me they don’t stand behind their product which is so so poorly made. Fast fashion kills real fashion and harms the environment and kills american businesses. Never again.

I never ever everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr would have set foot in this store, except as I was walking past I saw a giant sign boasting plus-sized clothing. Went in to check it out, and not three steps in but I could just tell I was not the target demographic for this store. Not sure WHO is the target demographic(either teens, or 40-somethings who wish they were 20?) for this place. Still, the promise of clothing that actually fit my body and that wasn’t a mumu encouraged me to shuffle back to the corner where the plus-size stuff was. My impressions: –Extremely cheaply made, but also extremely cheap. –The clothes seemed really small. 3X looked more like XL, so much so that I didn’t even take the time to try it on. So my assessment isn’t 100% fair since I didn’t try, but honestly, I know my body pretty well, and yeah… They also didn’t really have much in my style– their clothes are very casual and, again, cheap and thin. Good for just lounging, casual clothes. Their skirts are REALLY short. My punani got windburn just looking at those skirts. I wouldn’t return without losing a hundred or so pounds, but I’m always happy to see retailers carrying plus-sized clothing, especially for kids and teens. Ultimately, though, if retailers don’t start doing a better job of developing plus-size fashion, the plus-size corner will sit untouched and the industry will claim«fat chicks don’t buy clothes». Yeah. No shit. Because your definition of «clothes» and my definition of «clothes» is clearly different.

The clothes here are trendy but cheaply made. For the price though I’d recommend them. The Men’s clothing section is boring and never seems to be updated. The employees are terrible and extremely cold and unfriendly. I have also heard managers and employees fighting in front of customers before.

Forever 21(really, any of them, not just this particular store) is a good lesson in «You get what you pay for». The clothes are cheap! Real cheap. And the service? Not so great… I actually feel really dumb coming in here most of the time since the people who work here probably look at me like, «What is this old lady doing in here? It’s forever 21, not forever 36!» But I must admit, I like the clothes! Yes, they are poorly made and don’t last more than a few washings, but that’s really all that I need them for! By the time I’ve worn a dress/shirt from Forever 21, the trend is over. Would I shop her for office attire? Absolutely not! Forever 21 is purely«just for fun» shopping. I always recommend trying things on in the store if you can. Sometimes I’m a size Small and other times, I’m a Large. You never can tell and if you want to return an item, you don’t get a cash refund. Just store credit! Sometimes it’s tough to find what you need in the store and if that’s the case, try online. But I won’t guarantee that you’ll find it online, either. Now that I’m almost 30, I should probably stick to more mature stores like Ann Taylor or H&M. But every now and then I want a cute little top from Forever 21. Nothing wrong with that, right?

This place is a mess. Sure, they have cute clothes at inexpensive prices, but its such a mess, you can’t find anything. I saw a shirt I wanted to buy, but they only had 3, all mediums, ALLOVERTHESTORE!!! I saw it, put it down, saw the same one, and then I saw it again! What a mess! I’m never going back there again. They either need to take on some serious spring cleaning, or hire better, more helpful empoyees.
