Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

Even though it’s a chain, Flemings always delivers on quality. They usually have oysters on special as a starter.

This place is awesome… the food was great and our server Samantha was great! If I ever come back this way I will definitely way here again & I recommend for everyone to experience this place at least once!!!

My wife made a reservation a week before to celebrate our 30^th wedding anniversary. Upon arrival, we were immediately seated at a crescent shaped table for 4 with a view of the entire restaurant. We were greeted by several assistant servers who explained the wine/​beer/​cocktail wireless pad and the specials for the night. After a few minutes to decide on drinks, our server for the evening, Jim, introduced himself and addressed us by name. He was funny, informative and new how to make us feel like we were the only customers. Upon several of his suggestions, we opt’d for the tomato and mozzarella salad, the bone-​in ribeye, Oscar 12 oz Filet with crab cake, garlic parsley mashed potatoes, Fleming’s potatoes and lava cake for dessert. Now, the potatoes the wife and I couldn’t decide on. Since she really wanted the mashed, I went with her decision. Joe seeing that I really wanted the house potatoes surprised us at the table with both… house potatoes were complementary. WOW! Didn’t see that coming. The food was AWESOME!!! My filet came with 4 choices of sauces the gave each bite a different flavor of its own. The dessert, again, compliments of Joe was great. Now, he packs up our leftovers, yes, we paced ourselves, and provides us with a box of dessert truffles and a $ 25 Gift Card for our next visit. Ask for Jim Nobles as your server of choice and you won’t be disappointed. This is an anniversary to remember.

Filet & Ribeye was great! Service was great (thanks Nathan)! This place reminded us of Capital Grille, which we love. We will definitely be back!

Fleming’s keeps me coming back because they know how to cook fish and steak! The service is stellar, the ambiance-​fabulous. I don’t go as often as I would like because I would weigh a ton. They also have a great happy hour, with great food selections at a fraction of the price. You have to get there early as the bar is small and if it is cold the patio is not an option.
Great place for special occasions.

One of my favorite places for happy hour on the area… It’s really hard to beat their specials on their 5−6−7 menu. Their apps and burgers are amazing! Only drawback is that the bar area gets crowded. You need to arrive early to get a bar stool.

Went to Flemings tonight for Valentine’s Day. Had a great server (Matt). They gave me a fork that had some thing on it; not a big deal, I received another one. My filet was underdone. They took it back & the manager returned with it about 8 min later. When I took a bite to see if it was done, I bit into a piece of fat. It was hard to chew. I told the manager that, but he didn’t say much. My husband’s filet was cooked well, but his lobster tail was dry. His red wine came out ice cold, which was bizarre. We sent that back. Our total bill was $ 160 (before tip) and some change for 2 entrees, dessert, 1 red wine & 1 soda. The server gave us a $ 25 gift card for eating there on Valentine’s Day, which is the only reason I’m giving 3 stars & not 2. Im going to chalk it up to being crowded on Valentine’s Day.

Came here without a reservation. Was sat right away. The place was busy but not insanely so. The server greeted me right away. Unfortunately for him, I couldn’t decide on a wine, so I had to wait for BF to get there 10 minutes later. The server was really nice about it though. Dinner was lovely. I got a seafood special they were having, and BF got a steak. He said he thought the steak was good but could’ve been better. I thought my shrimp and crab legs were great! Server was never overly pushy and not overly absent. Would definitely come back.

Maybe the best happy hour in town. The steak tar tar is delicious. All of the food and wine offers great value. I’ve also been for dinner and it’s right up there with Morton’s and Ruths Chris.

If customer service is your thing, this is your place. Every person we encountered was incredibly polite and friendly without being fake. Our waiter was stellar and found the perfect bottle of wine for us (so naturally we had two).
Food– the crab cakes were really incredible, as they should be for 20 bucks. The Flemmings signature potatoes were some of the best taters I’ve ever had in my life, so if you go and don’t get this you’ve really just missed your calling in life. Our steaks, however good, just weren’t as good as we have had at other local steakhouses.
We thought we would branch out and try something new, and it was good, but just not great.

The staff at Flemmings is the most courteous and professional in town. The entire menu is top notch and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I would give six stars if possible!

We drive over 2 hours to get to this restaurant. The food is really good and we enjoy the upscale steakhouse atmosphere. I do expect quite a bit when dinner for 2 and no alcohol costs close to 200 dollars.
The ribeye and filet cuts were juicy, tender, and pretty flavorful, though quite underseasoned. The steaks were cooked to temp properly. Calamari app was very chewy, and the manager promptly and cordially replaced it. The deconstructed s“more dessert was good, but the marshmallows were gritty, so I’d go back to a well executed classic desert like crème brûlée or chesecake. The truffle-​mashed potatoes was my favorite item of the night.

Not worth the value that they charge for.
Nice atmosphere, but food was not great and took some time to arrive. My steak was not well prepared and was served cold.
There are plenty of other options where you can get a better meal for a lot less.

We love Flemings! It’s our go-​to place to eat for special occasions. We just had the most amazing experience… even better than we usual expect (which is great)!
Our waitress was very attentive, friendly, prompt, and as an added bonus… she looked just like Megan Fox! Maybe it was the wine, but everything seemed to taste even more amazing when it was delivered by Ms. Fox!
You must try this place!

Wow, I had heard this place was good, but they were really good on my visit!
Tried ravioli and wine as I waited during happy hour.
I had a large filet with a topping of truffle poached lobster with bearnaise sauce and caviar. Absolutely divine! Can’t wait to get this again.
Also got to try a peppercorn steak topped with their signature F17 sauce. That sauce is incredible. It’s a proprietary blend of 17 ingredients, I was told.

Took my mom here as a treat before I had to fly out the next morning. And it was a wonderful experience!
I had made reservations for 6 pm initially. We found ourselves there around 5:15 and hungry, so we asked if we could move our reservation up. They had no problem accommodating us.
We went on a Sunday evening, and they were having their prime rib special. We both got that. It comes with a giant portion of prime rib, a side item, and a dessert. Per person.
The prime rib is cooked PERFECTLY and came with a trio of sauces. My favorite was the au jus. It also comes with a side, and all the sides are more than enough to share. I recommend getting different ones and alls sharing. It also comes with a dessert.
Service was incredible, food came out quickly and beyond amazing, and the atmosphere was great. We will definitely be coming back here.

If your an attention whore like me, you’re gonna love this place! I honestly don’t think I’ve been paid this much attention to at a restaurant ever. It was getting kind of addicting. I kinda, like, want to live here.
Ok, but seriously. I thought that Fleming’s was going to be like every other high-​end steakhouse chain restaurant. Actually, there were a few things that made it different.
1. They have 100 wines by the glass. Say what?!? It’s true and I love them for it.
2. The service — holy cow! We were called by name the entire meal, all of our questions were answered knowledgeably, we were checked on by several people to ensure we were having a great experience. I even got an email the next day thanking me for dining there.
3. The food was delicious and had a unique spin on the common steakhouse fare. The wedge salad was a blue cheese lover’s dream, with creamy dressing, candied bacon, fried onions strings and a separate square of blue cheese on the side. The filet was about the best filet I’ve had in a while… and I just got back from Vegas where I had a filet a day it seems like. The blue cheese mashed potatoes? Hello looovah! Do yourself a favor and try them. The lava cake is a special kind of indulgence. Share it with someone special.
4. This goes with service, but deserves it’s own number. We were celebrating our anniversary. At the end of the meal, they gave us a hand-​signed card from the staff, a small box of house-​made truffles AND a $ 25 gift card to come back. Unbelievable.
I couldn’t have asked for a better anniversary evening or, for that matter, a better overall dining experience.

We’ve been here plenty of times so it’s about time I give them the good review. For starters, every single time we’ve been to Fleming’s, the food and service have been spot on — overall great establishment!
We stopped in yesterday for their happy hour which is the best in St Louis in my opinion and very much worth the drive! Sat at the bar and had a server who we see often working there — taller guy w/​glasses. Missed his name but he always provides the best service and is so friendly!!! Wife and I had the bacon cheeseburger special — guys, this is one of the best burgers in St Louis and the happy hour price cannot be beaten. Also they had a number of bottles of wine on special for half the normal price.
You might get the idea but this is easily the best kept secret in St Louis. Happy hour at Fleming’s has the best food, drinks and service all around. Give it a shot if you’ve been considering as you won’t be let down!!!
