Just left the drive thru, we ordered: two combo meals with Diet Cokes, a twist cone, and a hot fudge sundae. We received: one combo meal with a Diet Coke, the burger and a regular Coke for the second combo meal, a hot fudge sundae, and a vanilla cone. Why a vanilla cone? The chocolate machine was down, which I found out when I told the cashier we ordered a twist cone. I understand that things break, but why not tell me when I order a twist cone? I would’ve altered my order. Usually when my order is wrong, I check my receipt to be sure I ordered correctly, but no. No receipt. No fries. No Diet Coke.

Hey, its Dairy Queen. You can’t go wrong with an Oreo Blizzard. The hamburgers are similar to Burger King too. With a St. Louis frozen custard legend just a few blocks away, this little spot can hold its own. We use it primarily for the drive thru and the cakes. The staff is normally a young and friendly crew. They often prepare our ice cream cakes as we walk in the door. Everyone has a good time as we ask for personalized and goofy things to be written on each one. The last time we came in, the young person working allowed my niece to write a greeting on the cake by herself. That was a dimple thing which my niece will remember for a long time. Nice move DQ.

I’m giving this 5 stars to balance out the other reviews. I firmly believe that when you review chains like this, you’re not really reviewing the food, which is standard across the country, but rather the atmosphere and service. This is a nice, newly remodeled DQ with friendly and efficient staff. You can’t really ask for more than that!

I liked this place, we went there for the ice cream only because our other«regular» place was not open yet for the season. But they have a great Chocolate Covered Strawberry Waffle Bowl! Try it I am sure you will like it too!

I’m not a fan of the Queen. I find her soft serve ice cream to be bland. Even when it is twisted in a cone and you have vanilla & chocolate combined together. To show you how bad, after two bites/licks I tossed my small cone in the trash. When a pudgy boy tosses a cone in the trash, you know it is bad. I’ve also tried their Blizzard and once again, even adding my favorite M&M’s it comes out with no pizazz. For me I’d give DQ a 2, but my SO likes their Chicken Tenders that are served with milk gravy so I’ll give them a 3. When he is sick, these Tenders are his«comfort» food. There is something about dipping tenders into milk gravy that makes him feel better. I’ve sampled them and like their ice cream, it’s not for me. This DQ has recently had a major remodel and does look good sitting on the corner of Hampton and Eichelberger.
