We had Joe install our dishwasher. He was friendly and knowledgeable. The process seemed smooth and quick. I am happy to have the dish washer installed by a license plumber because I don’t want a future nightmare!

This company doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. I had someone come out to my house to inspect my back flow prevention device per St. Louis County Code. While here, I asked him if he could tell me what he thought was wrong with my shower that rattled when I flushed the toilet. He said he would check the faucet manufacturer when he was done. Well before I knew it he was up replacing things and had the shower all taken apart. At that point, I couldn’t stop him — frustrated that he started work without my authority. The entire install took him 10 minutes on the shower — so I just figured whatever at that point. I received the bill three days later. 10 minutes of labor = $ 143 dollars. The part was $ 82. I felt like I was at the mechanic as a female. When I called they claimed it was a math error and took the labor to $ 60. Still was being over charged. I had to demand that it was $ 30 based on their hourly fee on the website. I also called Moen and they said an average person can get the part for $ 45. Cordia then proceeded to tell me that since they are plumbers their price is $ 82 from Moen. Sounds like a bad business deal. Bonnie who I spoke with was exceptionally rude. She didn’t get the point that I wasn’t paying that much for a part that I never gave approval to be put in. I just received a second bill after telling her I wouldn’t do bad reviews on websites if she just called it even. Well I guess she doesn’t know anything about customer service because an $ 82 invoice showed up. I hope no one ever has to deal with this company. It’s really unfortunate when you have a local plumber so close and get treated so poorly. They are unprofessional when talking to clients on the phone and via invoice. The invoice I received has 3 misspelled words and multiple words that should have been capitalized. Just goes to show how they plan on running a business. There will be a report to the BBB and I plan on telling everyone I know what an awful experience I have had. Stay far away from this company.

I have been using Cordia Plumbing for about 15 years both for repair and remodeling and have always received prompt, very high quality service. They aren’t the cheapest plumbers around St. Louis (nor are they the most expensive) but none are better. You get what you pay for!

I had two differing sewer inspections, I asked Cordia to review the inspections and be our 3^rd to confirm the condition of the line. The were on time for the inspection but didn’t look at the other videos, didn’t focus on the problem area that was clearly marked with a flag, but had no problem billing us full price, $ 150 for doing the bare basic inspection, not doing what I asked, and they were wrong on the condition of the line. Avoid them.

Ed came on a Friday to address a sewer backup in the basement. Told us he would be back on Monday. I called after hours on Friday night to report the backup was now urgent, as we had raw sewage in the basement. A different plumber told us he would personally make sure Ed would be back on Monday. Called Judy, the receptionist, on Monday to make sure we would be seen. Was told they would try to «squeeze» us in. This was the first sign of a problem. No call, no plumber on Monday. We had been witout a shower/​toilet since Friday now. Tuesday, I once again spoke to Judy to check the status of our issue. Was told Ed and Steve would talk it over and she would call me back. She then told me they would be at the house in the afternoon (Tue). I said, like, what, noon or one? She said yes. I took off work to be home at noon. When nobody was there by 1, I again called to check on the status. She said she paged the plumbers and they didn’t respond and she would call me back. When I didn’t hear back from her by 1:30, I called her to cancel the work order; I had found another plumber. Working with this company was a nightmare. I would not recommend their services to anyone.
