They came by again today and did not disappoint. I had the Dubiner today. it was moist and tender and very flavorful. The fries were a nice bonus. In fact, there must have been 20+ folks in our break room today with burgers from them today.

Now that they’ve started coming out to a neighboring business in NoCo, I’ve finally gotten a whack at more food trucks. Burger INK certainly holds their own! Since I eat breakfast early, and I know how the lines can get, I’m always one of, if not the first in line when one comes to visit. They moved quickly and were courteous. I was already planning on a burger, but I think some of my co-workers and others in line were a little disappointed to find that they no longer made paninis, as advertised right on their truck and on their website. I ordered the Dubliner — topped with white American cheese, grilled onions, a garlic aioli, and spring greens on a pretzel bun. Everything was fantastic — the burger was cooked beautifully. The cheese was ooey, gooey good, and the greens added a freshness to an otherwise heavy dish. Some other reviewers commented that the aioli was overpowering. I didn’t think so at all, but I love garlic, so perhaps I’m biased. The pretzel bun was light and… pretzely…but it was by far my least favorite part of the meal. I’m not a huge pretzel fan to begin with(something about how it sticks to your teeth when you bite into it!), but I didn’t think the flavor was on par with the rest of the burger and fixin’s. I’d probably just go the«low carb» route and skip it next time.

This was my first food truck experience in St. Louis. They came to my company’s parking lot and everyone was very excited, perhaps too excited. They ran out of food in the first of the two hours they were scheduled to be here leaving many of my coworkers hungry. I was slightly disappointed that they didn’t have any of the paninis available on their online menu nor the vegetarian option for my herbivore friend. I decided to try the burger that was not featured online that was topped with Gorgonzola and pear on a pretzel bun. It was one of the last to run out, but people were missing out. It was a great combination of sweet and savory. The burger was a great size with a superb meat to bun ratio. The waffle fries that accompanied it were also crisp and flavorful. All of my coworkers were pretty happy with the burgers they chose as well, but one felt the Dubliner’s garlic aoli was a little overwhelming. It’s probably one of the best 8 dollar meals I’ve had since I started working here and for those of us who managed to order food before they ran out, the wait for the food to come out was not too bad. I look forward to the truck’s return, I hope this time with enough food and maybe their panini options.

Burger, INK. is a newer kid on the block of food trucks here in the St. Louis area, and a welcome addition. Yum yum yum! Is all I can say after my first bite of the Farmer burger. It’s a nicely seasoned juicy beef burger topped with goat cheese(that’s a little melty), sauteed mushrooms and mixed greens on a soft bun. I really had a hard time picking which burger to get since they all sounded so good, but the goat cheese sold me. The waffle fries have a little spice to them, a nice pairing with the burger — you really can’t hate a burger and fry combo. Thank you Burger, INK. for coming near my place of work so my coworkers and I could come get some yummy lunch. The lady taking orders was super sweet and they were making those burgers quick.
