!!!BEWARE!!! They took advantage of my elderly father. He said,” They definitely lost me as a customer!” I called on his behalf to see if something could be done about the 400% mark up on just the part.
I spoke with Scott Meier and was assured the pricing was fair. He gave me a song and dance about different charges for service call and diagnostic. He still couldn’t cover the mark up on the circuit board which they charged $ 499 for a $ 100 part and was at a loss for an explanation. Instead he started going over all charges that he has to cover as a business. Somehow that makes it ok to screw the customer!!!

Jason came out on a Sunday, had it fixed early Monday. He was polite, kept his word and did what he said he would do. It was an emergency — no heat when it’s 17 degrees outside is the opposite of awesome. Thanks for your help. Would definitely use them again!

I returned home on Friday night to find the upstairs AC unit was not working. The compressor was iced up the fan was not working. I called Averill Heating and Cooling and asked for help in the morning. Early Saturday morning I received a call from the owner who listened and promptly dispatched Jack and Brandon. Jack and Brandon were professional and wore shoe covers without me having to ask. They listened to me describe my problem and they went to work. I was impressed with their diagnosis and explanation of the problem. I appreciated the fact that they gave me options and quickly repaired the 3 ton unit. I would recommend Averill for quality work at a fair price. Jack and Brandon were also impressive.
