Great customer service isn’t typically the first thing that comes to mind when buying mall food, but the Dillard’s location inside the galleria blew me away today. Both employees were friendly, helpful and efficient. One less reason to feel guilty about indulging in the greasy, salty goodness. Thanks for proving that you shouldn’t have to pay a premium for common decency!

This is what I was thinking when I walked away from this terrible pretzel shop at the Galleria. Don’t get me started on how awful the Galleria is, but at least I thought I could get a tasty treat while I was there. I am a very cheery person, so I walked up all smiles as I was about to get a soft hot pretzel. The girl I spoke with at the counter seemed totally annoyed and uninterested in working. She would barely communicate and acted like she couldn’t understand what I was saying. I showed her my buy one/​get one coupon and she read it wrong and overcharged me for my second pretzel. I was too annoyed to correct her so I just paid for it and gathered my things.
Then, some random guy walked up and she smiled and started talking to him like she was having a great time. I was left wondering what I did to have to endure her «anti-​social» side. I walked away and sat down at a nearby bench to observe. Well, I was able to figure out the problem. The girl was more than happy to talk to some of the patrons, but others were treated with a sullen and bleak attitude. The reason was very evident and I watched happen multiple times. I don’t really feel like starting an argument on Unilocal about why, but it seemed I was just not the type of person she felt she needed to be professional to. That’s just fine with me, and I will return the favor by avoiding Auntie Anne’s from now on. Sad… the pretzels were so tasty.

The pretzels are delicious. You haven’t tasted a real pretzel until you’ve had an Auntie Ann’s pretzel! The area is nice and clean. Sodas are good and an overall great place to enjoy a wonderful snack!

When I am at the mall and in the mood for a pretzel this is the best place to go for a quick snack!

The pretzels here are always so good. When I have to endure taking my kids to the mall, I always have to stop for a pretzel on the way out.
I go for the regular ol’ pretzel or the cinnamon sugar one, depending on my mood.
I have never, ever been disappointed in my pretzels. Ever.
They are just yummy.

I’m sure most of us know Auntie Anne’s, that pretzel joint in the mall which you can smell a mile away. While slightly pricey, the pretzels are just awesome buttery deliciousness.
But I must disagree with the previous reviewer. I tried a pretzel dog on a whim and OH MY GOD. First bite was an instant mouth-​gasm. That buttery, slightly-​crispy pretzel layer combined with the juicy hot dog… absolutely amazing. You will savor every bite (which won’t be that many). Everyone must try this once. It is the best way to treat yourself after a long day of unabashed consumerism.

Yum yum! I love these soft pretzels. The cinnamon sugar is really good, and so is the jalapeño (try it with the sweet mustard dip. You’ll thank me later). The lemonade is good, too.
You really can’t go wrong with this place. Well… except for their hotdog filled pretzel. That’s just WRONG.
