Art St. Louis is located inside the same space as Mississippi Coffee Roasters. So feel free to grab a cup of Joe before taking a stroll through the amazing gallery. If you find something you prefer to stare at for a while, take a load off and grab a seat at one of the bistro tables or sofa chairs. Art Saint Louis displays various forms of visual contemporary artwork by some of our regions most talented artists. Artists from Carbondale, Illinois to Chesterfield, MO have beautiful pieces for your viewing pleasure. Not only do they offer amazing exhibitions but Art St. Louis offers art exchange along with a variety of community educational and outreach programs. If you have any specific questions or concerns there is a rep on sight during business hours to assist.

People come here for coffee out front, but the real purpose of this place is an exhibition space for local artists. This may not be a well known gallery but it puts on a ton of juried art shows during the year. I check their exhibits schedule every once in a while and swing by whenever something new pops up. The exhibits are always interesting, featuring a large array of artists/artworks using a wide range of media. it usually takes no more than 30 minutes to walk through the works but I have always enjoyed the stop here for a little jolt of inspiration.

Best darn coffee in St. Louis — Mississippi Mud roasts it themselves mere blocks away. How’s that for local? Great staff. Low-key environment. Comfy t-shirts ;) I can’t say enough good things. You will not be let down.

This place is lovely. I’m here studying for an exam, and I will certainly be back. This is a combination coffee shop(Mississippi Mud Roasters) and art gallery(Art St. Louis). My latte and scone were delicious and the staff very friendly. I haven’t really explored the art, but the space extends way back into the building, and there are places to sit throughout. Also, bonus, you can bring your dog inside to order coffee! The only thing for improvement I can see is if it could be clearer what the relationship is between these two spaces, and whether coffee patrons are allowed back in the art space with food. Some people walked in clearly looking for a place to have a meeting, and they were guides back into the art space, whereas they moved some stuff around so I could sit in the coffee shop area — is there some protocol I’m missing?

Laidback atmosphere. Coffee shop inside. A lovely place to browse, relax or get some work done away from the hustle and bustle. Staff is friendly and there are comfortable seating areas and tables.
