Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar

I know I know a ubiquitous Applebee’s, I work with someone who says the best steak he ever had was from Applebee’s. Hmm maybe he needs to expand his culinary field slightly. Applebees does some things very good. Such as the Brutus burger. For $ 9.65 you get a mighty tasty burger cooked to order (the only burger they will cook to order) and a plate full of fries. Just typing this thing makes my mouth water for the darn thing. I went with the wife aka the old ball and chain and she had the fish and chips. I would say she thought they were ehh. I have had other things on the menu one time I ordered pasta con broccoli. Oh boy this not the place for that dish. I do like their nachos, ribs, and a few other things. But the Brutus burger is the play here for a real $ 10 burger that is worth the price. Why only three stars? Come on it is Applebees after all! Which in my world is a very good rating for this type of place.
