This place is the worst! I was there last weekend had a grilled chicken sandwich and fries and got terribly ill! All night long into the morning! All there food is froZen none of it is fresh one could do the same at home cafeteria style fries just gross! The atmosphere is great and when this place started out it was awesome but the owner let the quality go down the tubes, so sad!!! I really miss the original wagners they served great food… Listen up make better non frozen food and you have a hit! Again!!!

Super fun place, love the décor, love the theme. It was great to go somewhere different from the norm. They even have fire pits where you can make smores. Food was good and the guy taking our order was very nice.

This place is great! It gives you that classic vintage Drive-In feel. My waitress, I believe her name was Charlene, was incredible! Her service was gracious. I got the Earthling Cheese Burger with grilled onions. YUM! I will definitely be coming back.

Yaaa, this place is legit. Sure you could go to Betty Dangers and pay $ 10 for 2 beef tacos you could of gotten at your high school cafeteria… but why? This place has the same vibe, it’s themed and reasonably priced. Plus your kids are gonna have more fun here. I labsoluetly loved the s’mores fire places, all over(3 of them), the huge tic tac toe and life size chess set, plus the service is fantastic. They were playing oldies when my husband and I drove in. You can either wait in your car and order, walk up to the counter or sit at a table and a waitress can up to you. So many choices! Plus you can bring you dog! They encourage it. They have places to hook up your pet, doggy doo do bags, and there were about 4 dogs around when I was there last night. The food is what you can expect at the fair or any other drive in. I’m not expecting to be served caviche and truffles fries here, so I’m not sure why there are so many bad reviews regarding food quality. Look where you are. Look at your $ 3 hotdog. Duh. We had a corn dog, a regular dog, a burger, onion rings, cheese curds, a shake and a root beer float — and we both loved it. Plus all of that was under $ 25. MN needs more quirkly places like this that don’t charge up the waaaahuuuu for a burger(i.e. betty dangers & psycho suzies). Come here. You won’t regret it.

Unique! Food prices seem a little spendy, but you won’t find another place like this! The burger and onion rings were great! The wait for food was also long. I wish the drinks were bigger or that we could get free refills. Parking is mainly on the side streets unless you are driving up and ordering from your car.

Had a really great time being a fan of a more classic atmosphere. The menu was fantastic and served in ample time! We went later in the evening so we walked up since it was busy! We got a table near the fire place then grabbed a smores kit that they sell and had a blast!!! Shakes are super thick and tasty!

The food isn’t the best but I ordered the s’mores kit and sat by the fire which was fun and something different!

I’ve driven by this place many times but finally, my wife and I went at night. It was charming. We enjoyed the neon lights and nostalgic vibe. It was so nice to eat outside by a fire pit, too. The food is inexpensive and tastes fine: cheeseburgers are about four bucks. It’s not gourmet, it’s drive-in food, you know? I’m not sure why this place received the harsh reviews below. It was fun and we will go again.

Does anyone ever go here? I always drive by it and not sure if anyone’s ever there. It’s always dead. I’ve been there once and it was mediocre food.

Only go for«the experience» of a drive-in. Burgers not great at all — chocolate shake tasted like it was freezer brunt. Hmmm… Did it — done it — won’t again :-(

The food is not the greatest, but it isn’t terrible either. My cheeseburger was dry and my side of cheese curds was small. The ambience is fun for families, and you can either eat in your car or at one of the many outdoor tables. They also have fire pits for s’mores, if you opt to buy their $ 12 kit. I sure wish they didn’t blare music.

Yikes, only come here if you have kids. A McDonalds hamburger tastes better, and I bet the kids will think so too. I got a shake, that was actually pretty tasty, and they don’t use Kemps. I like the super fat straw, and wanted to keep it. So I blow out the spare liquid into the cup, forgetting that I left the whipped cream behind, and it blows back in my face. That was actually so funny it put me in a good mood. So did the service from Charlene. Not only did she restore my faith in teenagers but in real customer service. She was a doll. Never been here before, but the scene made me miss Porky’s on Snelling.

I just finished cycling 30 miles and was starving as I drove past the Galaxy. My bacon cheeseburger was tasty. I had a side of rings, also very good. There was nothing unique about the food but I loved the new theme. The highlight was the car hop. She was the best waitress I have had in a long time. I would go back just for the interaction with her again. The speakers were clearly positioned in the wrong place, but my car hop told me that her goal was to make sure that I never touch the speaker.

This is a difficult place to rate. The food is, well, kind of just plain bad. How can you mess up a milkshake? Or a hot dog? The service is highly mediocre. But the atmosphere is SO cool! This«futuristic» space-themed place celebrates the mid-century retro vibe that makes St. Louis Park special. The lawn decorations are awesome, especially the massive chess board. Strangers come here and actually have conversations with each other and pet each other’s dogs as their kids play human-sized chess. Humanity needs more places like the Galaxy Drive-in. Now, if they could only figure out how to cook, we’d come here all the time.

I went to the drive Last summer and It was amazing. My hot dog was hands down the best hot dog I have ever had. The environment is great for families to create great memories. It will be a favorite for the kids. All the food is great and best of all the prices are reasonable! I highly recommend this for all ages. I will be going back soon!

Galaxy Drive-In is perfect for a group. A group of us decided to hit the drive-in for lunch and it ended up just perfect. The yard has lots of picnic tables, games and even a S’more pit. The staff was very kind and helped us enjoy the experience. I ordered up the veggie burger with cheese curds. Maybe the curds weren’t out of this world, but they definitely tasted like something you might find between here and Wisconsin. Others in our group ordered the sea salt malt. We didn’t hear much from them after they took their first sip until you heard the sucking sound from them trying to clean the glass with their straw. Overall, it’s a great place to visit for something a little different. And don’t forget about the S’more pit. Could be a fun romantic thing to do as summer winds down.

On a sunny long awaited 80 degree non humid weather like today, nothing is greater than dining outside! Friends and I had a good time, at this cute drive-in, sitting at the colorful picnic tables, great service, great 60’s music, with our furry friends too! What a fun place to go, eating tasty burgers, hotdogs outside and slurping yummy malts and shakes. Good price, good food, fun atmosphere. Looking around I can see everyone enjoying their dinners on this beautiful evening. Will be back. Who would have thought, a lil’ gem on Hwy 7 in St. Louis Park, Minnesota :)

OK people, you are paying for the experience of a real drive in diner with a funky twist. The burgers were good, I do agree the drinks could be bigger. I loved the friendliness of the servers who love to pay attention to your dog by bringing a water dish and a doggy ice cream cone treat. Looks like they have gas pits to roast s’mores at night. So yes, $ 15-$ 20 for two for a burger, fries, and a drink, but it is unique places like this that give the Twin Cities character.
