The first time I went to this restaurant the waitress was nice and did a good job waiting on me. I only had a grill cheese and a little soup and that was it. I later brought my family, a total of eight people to eat and experience was entirely horrible especially because I told everyone how great this place was and it completely undelivered. Most of our cups had either lipstick or food on at the silverware was mostly dirty and one of the sandwiches we bought was burnt. I bought an omelette and it had eggshell in it. Most of the tables have not been cleaned. If you need to go to this restaurant, I would say do so at your own risk.

We’ve eaten here several times. It is not fancy but we knew that going in. They serve an excellent basic breakfast. We will always return

I’ve seen this place but never stopped. Today I thought I could grab a quick lunch. The cook was sitting outside. I walked in and was seated without really being greeted. Awkward. The waitress never spoke to me other than to take my order. I ordered a cheeseburger(comes with salad or soup) the salad was fresh tasting but the tomato was rotten. When I got my burger the tomatoes were also rotten. They used shredded lettuce so I go back to work with a messy shirt. The meet was faux burger. Even the crackers are stale. Drive on by or go to the Mexican food restaurant next door.

I always eat breakfast here when I come to St. George. A home town restaurant with hometown food.

Me and my boyfriend discovered this little restaurant a few months ago and it has now become a tradition for us to eat brunch at DeDe’s every weekend. It’s the only place we can ever agree on to eat! The omelettes are delicious, and have so many different options. The biscuits and gravy is so yummy and a lot of food for the price. The service is always wonderful and keeps us coming back. Yay for Dede’s!

I was told to go try this place out it was just down the street from our house. I can tell you the service was terrible! Waitress has zero personality. Never said one word we also stood there waiting to be seated. Waitress walked right around us never said one word! Finally I said excuse me but what do we do here seat our selves? She walked right back by us and just said yes! If her name is de dee then I hope you realize this is rude at best! Older lady thin short redish hair!!! You could see it on others customers faces that they were just as put out at the service! She brought our food but never came back to ask if we needed anything or how wasbthe food! As for the food mine was barely ok. I ordered an all egg white omelet that you pay $ 1. Extra for which is fine I guess but the omelet was half the size. thank god I got toast with it or I would still be hungery. My dad had the«best biscuits and gravy in the state» which really was no better than dennys! My dad thought even less! Im sorry we don’t recomend de dees!

My new favorite breakfast stop in ST. George. They have a great selection of omelets and their bacon is the amazing thick kind. Coffee is good and they refill it often. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 is the ambiance. Its just a big room with lots of different themes going on. And there are no booths! Maybe its the jersey girl in me but I need my diners to have booths and a mint dish at the counter.

One of my favorite places to go for breakfast! And one of my boyfriend’s favorite places to go for lunch! They make a great eggs Benedict! My boyfriend also swears by their burgers! Excellent prices! Excellent service!

Breakfast is great! Burgers & sandwiches are good, & I like the crispy fries! The breakfast potatoes are a little strange, but I just get fries or hash browns. DEFINITELY recommend the Chicken-Fried Steak! :P

We visited deDe’s on a Wednesday morning about 9am. The place has sort of a hometown, mom and pop diner feel to it when you walk in. After choosing a table and being handed menus, without a word, we made our selections. Our coffee came quickly and, again, without a word. My cup was dirty. I waited while our server frosted an entire tray of cupcakes, licking the frosting off her fingers, before I finally just walked over and asked for a clean cup. Without a word she took my dirty cup and grabbed a new one, rim side up with her licked fingers, and handed it to me. In the end the food was good, not outstanding, but good standard fare, and my eggs were cooked exactly to perfection. The decent food does not, however, overcome the substandard cleanliness issues and the practically silent service. We were excited to find a place close to our home but sadly, we will not be going back.

Great little spot! The patio is great with warm weather. We went for brunch half got lunch and half got breakfast… Breakfast won hands down. Lunch was good, but breakfast food the best. No mimosas or bloody’s, but great service and free cupcakes!

Found DeDe’s while searching for a short wait for Sunday brunch. This wasn’t at all a disappointing meal, and certainly had its highlights. The menu had standard breakfast fare, slightly amplified with eggs Benedict and other specialties. The coffee was pretty rough, with a strange popcorn flavor. The portion sizes were fine. Biscuits and gravy had decent biscuits, but a flavorless gravy that needed more seasoning. Side potatoes were undercooked for my liking. Bennies were well poached, with a fairly good hollandaise sauce. All in all, an OK meal. There are at least four better breakfasts in St. George, but if they’re crowded, why not head over here?

The 99 cent coffee is a plus, and they certainly are friendly folks, but the food is meh. I got a scramble with avocado, spinach and bacon. It was passable but not thoroughly cooked and lacking in flavor. Ditto the hash browns, which are the same hash browns you’ll get at any Denny’s. The whole wheat toast was the best part of the meal. Pleasantly thick and substantial, not just brown fluff.

They have good quality homemade breakfast food. I have never come for lunch so I can’t speak to that. The pie must be awesome because whenever I ask for some it is sold out. I love the breakfast burrito and home style taters.

Nice server, however I had a microwaved rubbery biscuit and sour orange juice. I was brought another glass and told to try it. No improvement, I would think they would try it. Hollandaise sauce was totally from a powder mix. Locals seem happy, so I guess that’s all that matters.

This is an exceptional value. Great food –reasonably priced. The owner, Dee Dee, is a hands-on part of the serving team. We’re definitely coming back. This will become one of our family favorites.

DeDe’s is excellent. Their prices are fair, and the cooking is worth twice the price.(I particularly recommend their Dutch Oven breakfast potatoes, as I think those are the ones made with pieces of bacon in them – magnificent.) There simply isn’t any reason to visit Denny’s or any other so-so breakfast joint in the area, including St. George’s many Denny’s imitators. You can also stop in if you’re driving on the 15 on a trip, as it’s a straight shot from the highway down Dixie to DeDe’s – it’s in the same center as a Sinclair gas station with a really great mini-mart.(As of this writing, Google Maps still acts as if the Dixie exit doesn’t exist – you can take it, though, and drive straight to this place.) For the record, I praise this little eatery not as a local, but as a Californian spoiled by the fantastic foods on offer in Los Angeles and Orange County alike – and one who is nonetheless in love with DeDe’s. I always want to try something new, but I greatly respect something classic that’s done in such a fantastic way. I worry that, given the local culture of making such foods at home, too many people may pass DeDe’s by – and they won’t know what they’re missing. Sorry, sweet cheeks, but your grandma’s cooking probably ain’t as good as DeDe’s. You can take her there during a day out, though – I bet she’ll love the food.

Food was very good, service was also excellent. Would have gotten 5 stars but some items were a little over cooked. I had the Eggs Benny, which was perfect. Others also enjoyed their food.
