The hamburger I got twice was delicious. It had pepper jack cheese and bacon. I will keep returning for just the burger.

With out a doubt the best burger in or around St. George. The patty is fresh and all the ingredients are also of high quality as the pickles are nice and crunchy not that limp crap you get at other places. The lettuce is fresh and shredded and the tomatoes seem to fit the bun perfectly. The Bacon on the burger was cooked fresh and still had the small amount of hot grease you would expect on fresh cooked bacon. The french fries were perfect just like my mother used to make from fresh potatoes not the processed crap. They give you fry sauce which was terrific. Their shakes are literally over the top and thick. They have a lot of different flavors to choose from. My wife had the fish basket and it was out of this world. Nice flakey fish, great tartar sauce and the coleslaw was awesome too! I wouldn’t Pass up a chance to eat here. Also they mentioned that on Tuesday the 17th of May they are installing the only Pepsi machine with over five hundred flavor combinations in southern utah. Go check Marv’s out you will love it. Very family friendly too!

Went thru drive thru they were prompt let us know that everything is made fresh so it would be 7 – 8 mins before our order would be ready 1 car in front of us so now big deal right? Wrong!!! Almost 40 mins later we got our order serious? They messed up our drinks asked me three times what my order was tried to give me someone else’s Taco salads so I’m sure those pour people food was worse than ours. Got home with the food which we live less then 2 mins away burgers were cold fries were old an nasty nothing fancy the burgers are just frozen burgers like anywhere else only had a tiny bit of ketchup and mustard on looked like a disaster had to put it together everything was on the side pretty much. We will defiantly not be going back the price is to high for the quality of food you receive an the wait period is extremely unexceptionable!!!

Can’t really tell you how the food was since we never got any. Came in on a Saturday about 1:30, and the place was busy… usually a good sign for a restaurant. After waiting about 5 – 10 minutes to order we were told that it would be at least 30 minutes to get our food. Um, no thanks. So we thought we’d go through the drive through, surely that would be fast. Nope, no one even answerd us. This place is a joke, it’s a Saturday, have enough staff to handle the business.

Classic ’50’s diner with delicious cheeseburgers, fries, onion rings(small quarter pieces!) and shakes. Fun music. The booth seats are torn but comfy. The teenage employees did a good job. Plenty of parking spaces. Clean bathroom. All the other customers were older than us. Hmm.

I was told that Marvs had the best burger and fries in town. We tried the«deluxe cheese burger» which everyone liked. I had a western burger and they left off all the«western»(onion ring and bbq sauce) but did remember the over cooked dried out bacon that was more like jerky. We also tried the fries, tots, onion rings and Piccadilly chips. They all came out dark and crispy, which in my opinion means they were cooked in old dirty oil, AND nothing had been salted. The fries were the toughest fries I’ve ever had, it was as though they had been double fried or left out to dry up then fried. They chop up the onion rings into bite size pieces before frying which made them too overdone and crispy. And I couldn’t bring myself to try the tots or chips.

BLT on a hamburger bun? Yuck! Patty melt — really greasy. We live nearby and thought we’d give it another try. We’ve been before when they first moved into the Sunset Corners shopping center. It wasn’t impressive and the wait was incredibly long. So fast forward a couple of years and it’s still unimpressive, pricey and still have the long wait. Sorry Marv, wer’re not coming back. And yes, the place could use a good cleaning. The self-serve soda area is scary!

We came in looking for a quick meal before a movie. The teenager behind the counter said the wait for food would be about 15 minutes. 30 minutes later we were about to miss our movie, we check to see if they’re working on our order, not even close. Left with a refund. The guy was microwaving the corn dogs so looking back we might not have wanted to eat here in the first place.

One of the worst drive through experiences I’ve had. I ordered one chicken strip basket with a Coke. It took 30 minutes to get it. She miss charged me twice and then forgot to give me my drink and had to charge me agin, so I ended up leaving without one. The staff was unapologetic and honestly very unprofessional from the beginning. They came back and asked me what my order was several times. Also the chicken was very small for the price. I got 3 pieces which were nugget size and one strip. The food is normally good. I like their fries. Sorry Marvs but I think you just lost this customer.

Great food– it’s prepared fresh so yes, it takes a little longer. The onion rings are the best I’ve had in a while.

We stopped here before going to Thriller at Tuacahn. The patty melt I have ever had. I was impressed with the cashier who after bring someone’s order out would clean up as he returned to the counter. One time he picked some trash off of the floor. We watched to see if he would wash his hands. He did! I will go back next time I am in St George. Impressive place.

For food I’d give it four stars but when they send my order to another table and I watch people touch my families food, then they try to bring it over after the mistake is realized and serve it to us… Really!?! This I will take issue w. Especially when they simply say we’ll do you want some new fries or something? Actually I just want my money back and I won’t be coming here once a week like I have been. I get the food mix up and would happily have waited for another order had it been offered. Disgusting this would happen. As a mom and pop type shop I expect so mI ch more. Exactly why I used to go there. Oh and then they sit and whisper about us like I’m the one out of line. I hope management reads this and talks to that crew. I ate there, or rather tried to, the same day this is posted. I’ll be going to that other mom and pop shop on blvd that’s better anyway.

We come up to St. George quite often for my daughter’s doctor appointments. We’ve been to a number of burger joints in StG… I love a good burger joint — this is the best in town. I had a bacon cheeseburger with pepperjack and bacon… Oh my was it good. I also had onion rings and a strawberry shake. The onion rings were spot-on. The shake was handmade, thick, ant tasty. The food is great and the staff is amazing. We’ll be back.

I originally rated this place as a 4 and that rating has been nagging at me for a while. Now that we are officially St. George transplants, I’ve been to this place at least a couple of times per week and I can say that they consistently churn out a perfect burger. There is no better burger in St. George. The local newspaper here, The Spectrum, recently included Marv’s in St. George’s «10 Best» burgers. Marv’s was featured at the number 4 spot. However, we have dined at all the establishments that were rated above this place and none of them can touch Marv’s. Mind you, I’m only speaking of the burgers and fries. I haven’t touched anything else on the menu. But the burgers are absolutely perfect. They are hand-pattied and made-to-order. The buns are homemade and all the condiments are fresh.

Not impressed. The burger really didn’t have a lot of flavor as well as the onion rings. I personally liked the fries. And my shake was as good as anywhere. They need to get some new booths. Won’t be back. Better places then this to go.

Really good feel good food. The burgers were tasty and the grilled cheese was good as well. Of course you can’t forget the Utah pink sauce. I love that thanks Marv’s we’ll be back.

I tried Marv’s as it is close in proximity to much of the new growth in St. George. I had a Pepperjack burger that was above average. The bun was great. My wife ordered the same burger but in the junior size. Unknown to her was that this was served on a dime a dozen bun. Don’t make the same mistake! The regular fries were disturbingly un-salty. I don’t love to over salt my food, but these were not good if your expectation is a traditional french fry. The curly fries were definitely a step up from Arby’s. I would stick with those. Finally, the Butterfinger shake was average. I mean, it’s hard to screw up a shake, but it’s also hard to exceed expectations. Overall it was neither poor nor great. I would go there again for a typical American diner experience, but not to be amazed.

All I can is wow! The best burger I’ve tasted in a while After finding out that no local restaurants deliver to hotels in the area except for the pizza joints, I took the liberty of driving and getting lost in St. George UT to find Marv’s Drive In. I ordered the Cajun double cheeseburger with bacon and an order of fries. They have this great thousand island dipping sauce, but I also requested a ranch dressing; both dressings taste delicious with the fresh cut fries. The wait in the drive thru is about 10 – 15 minutes since everything is made fresh to order but the attendant tells you this upfront when you order; it is definitely worth the wait.

Spent all day hiking in Snow Canyon State Park and wanted to refuel. This place definitely achieved that. Pros — great burgers — their famous fries were also great — curly fries also good — price wasn’t terrible in our opinion, but was a tad more than we are used to. — very close to Snow Canyon Cons — this isn’t actually a ‘drive-in’, although it does have a drive-thru — replace your ripped seats, the colored ductape looks awful — color scheme is pretty ugly — service did not come with a smile Overall, its a solid burger joint and would recommend for those on this side of St. George.
