Vintage Depot

This charming antique & vintage collectible shop has it all: kitchen and glassware, furniture, vinyl, sports memorabilia, tools, artwork, toys & games, trunks & suitcases, dress forms, sewing machines, record players, and the list goes on. The shop is stationed right next to the railroad tracks, so the nod to a vintage train depot in the namesake is charming and clever.
There are four main rooms within the shop, which is choc-​full of merchandise. You could easily get lost in it for hours and still not see everything that they have to offer. What I love most is that the owners are constantly attending auctions and other antique-​related events to purchase additional items… so if you’re looking for something and they don’t have it, just ask and they will keep an eye out for you.
There is a huge green space and storage facility out back (which is stuffed full of additional vintage goodies that won’t fit in the store), making it an ideal place for swap meets, drive-​ins and other events. I know they are thinking about doing a vintage car show at some point, so that would be cool to see.
All in all, well worth a day trip to Springfield and one of the hidden gems of the areas many antiques and vintage shops!
