Our whole family loves Tradewinds Café as there is something delicious for everyone on the menu. Beautiful setting — a rehabilitated church with lots of character. Enjoyable people — Mark & Abbie are artists who offer staples like freshly packed gyros while always experimenting with menu options and events. Delicious food — our family each has our favorites ranging from cheese pizza, Medi bowls to gyros. Handmade ice cream and appetizers will blow your mind. We all have our staples but love to try new items as well. Great prices — there are few places that you can take a family of 6 for fresh, tasty and filling meals without breaking the bank — Tradewinds is THAT place.

Been there 3 times now, and all 3 times it’s been excellent. Had the Mediterranean Sampler, the Medi Plate, and a Falafel Pita. Yum. Good vegetarian selection, and excellent falafel. Super friendly service, reasonable prices, and a lovely patio on a sunny afternoon. I’ll be back many times, and have started bringing my co-workers. Love this place!

Finally found a good gyro place here in Springfield. Very happy with the quality of the food and the size of the gyro. Friendly service and a lot of fun.

A friend went there Saturday evening. The staff were friendly and patient with us as their menu as new to us and it took awhile to decide. We ended up ordering two orders of stuffed Falafels, one of wontons stuffed with walnut and cheese, a humus plate and gyro. The service was wonderful and accommodating. I would have to say the food was excellent! We enjoyed everything and sauces were great too! If I had a problem at all it was there were only two regular chairs and they faced the wall. Both of us are elderly and cannot sit on the higher backless stools. However if it had been better weather we could have sat in the outdoor settings. Looking forward to the better weather to visit again and sit outside. We had to go out and across to get a couple of beers, but was well worth it! EXCELLENTFOOD.

This place is great! Very vegetarian friendly. Try the Greek salad with falafel. Great beer in the same facility at the Abbey too.

I don’t write many reviews, and in Eugene I am rarely amazed by great food — but this place is fantastic. I love gyro sandwiches and theirs is one of the best I’ve ever had. And I have traveled to Greece! They now serve French fries and those are also delicious. My kids love the pita and hummus plate. The vegetables they use are fresh, and they make their own sauces, which I love.(You won’t find canned olives in their food.) The people who own the business are super warm and accommodating, and they take good care of their customers. They want you to have food you will really enjoy. The location is casual and good for families for lunch or dinner, and awesome to have Claim 52 tasting room right there in the building. During the summer it’s perfect to sit out on the patio with your delicious Mediterranean food and a Claim 52 beer! Loving the concept of The Abby in Springfield. A hidden gem!

Went in on a Saturday early evening after finding the place via . The woman who took our order was kind and helpful. I ordered a gyro and side Greek salad; which were both fresh and delicious. My husband got a gyro and spanakopita which were also both great. The gyros had lots of meat, fresh veggies and feta. The spanakopita was flakey and light. We both opted for Spanish sodas, but they had some good looking iced tea as well. We will definitely be back and have found our go to place for gyros:)

Best flatbread pizza ever. Kids loved it, I loved it, the people were friendly, everything was fresh and made promptly. Very good prices, especially considering the quality and that it’s home made. Highly recommend.

I had the falafel and my wife had the gyro, everything was tasty and fresh. Good favors. Falafel was a little dry but the roasted pepper sauce made up for it. The Thai ice tea is great as well.

My husband and I ride our bikes with our puppy Rocky in his trailer to have their individually hand-plated Greek Salad… amazing! It has olives, feta, artichoke heart, with greens and tomatoes. They’re perfectly dressed and we add Gyro for $ 8 each. We also add chicken on the side of one for $ 2 more so our puppy can share dinner. We like the Gyro and red onion pizza too. We’d recommend anything on the menu and prices are very reasonable.

The chicken is juicy and flavorful. If you’re hungry and indecisive you can’t go wrong with the sampler plate.
